I had trouble with mine because I started in the “on” position like the manual said. It was better to start “off “ and then do the on/off thing three times

I tried this several times on my 2021 FatBob and nothing happens?
Maybe they changed the procedure...I just followed what the owner's manual tells you to do. That would be my guess...again, this was for a 2019 Heritage. Let me know...thanks!

It's basically a security pin, in the event you lose your key FOB.
