@@badiarbliterally no, a dual clutch already has the gear engaged when it's time to change, so it is completely automatic, it knows which one has to go next, higher or lower. You can have a manual selection but in that case what you are (dis)engaging is the clutch, and you also lose all benefits.
It's also not the same mechanically, since it always has 2 gears engaged, as it has 2 different sets of gears, one per clutch. You don't even have neutral, neutral is both clutches disengaged.
Now the CC850 IS BOTH Manual H pattern AND automatic the F***** guy Christian Von Koenigsegg is a mad scientist genius.

Regera 100-200 = 3.8~ seconds
Chiron SS 100-200 = 3.2 seconds
Regera 200-300 = 4.3 seconds
Chiron 200-300 = 6~ seconds
Regera 320-400 = 9.7 seconds
Chiron 320-400 = 8.6 seconds
Chiron SS is gonna pull away from the Regera in the first 5-ish seconds, and will pull away at around 2.5 m/s. 5×2.5 = 12.5 meters, Chiron gets a decent advantage over the Regera in the start, but then Regera starts to catch up quickly at around 2.77 m/s, for roughly 7 seconds. 7×2.7 = 18.9≈19 meters, Regera pulls 6.5 meters ahead of the Chiron Super Sport till 320 km/h but after that Chiron SS starts to catch up, It's almost a second faster than Regera from 200-250 mph. When Chiron hits 248 mph, Regera is just behind with 245 mph, Chiron is 3 mph faster ( 1.34 m/s ) and later on Chiron also has a top speed of electronically limited = 273 mph/440 km/h OR 310 mph/500 km/h. Depends on how big the track is, on 1/4 mile Chiron is winning, on 1/2 mile it's equally tied up, in 1 mile Regera may win in a rolling race, in 2 mile Chiron is pulling hard on Regera.
And 1500 hp Regera is alot slower than the 1800 hp Regera too, it would be much more fair to compare 1500 hp Regera to a 1600 hp Chiron Super Sport, but Chiron still keeps up with boosted Koeniggsegg Regera, so not a problem for Bugatti.

You're not a fan? That's the first i've ever heard. The greatest most technologically advanced fastest hyper cars in the world. For F**** sakes Christian Von K. Built the Regeras Direct Drive transmission AND he built the CC850 BOTH with automatic and manual transmission, it's your choice on the fly. He's an absolute technological genius. Ohh sorry I forgot to mention he set the land speed record with the Agera R on a bumpy Nevada straight away at 278mph average from one way and then back and set the fastest 0-400-0 km/h record.
