Just was there two weeks ago and it is spectacular. So lucky to have seen Johns Hopkins Glacier on a beautiful day like you did. We saw sea otters and bald eagles sitting on the ice bergs.

Us too! We do have a tour of the N55 as a final ending to that chapter. Maybe by the time we get there I will be ready to do a tour of the N50. Tours are time intensive!

You two are so lucky to be able to do this. Glacier Bay west to Whittier is so beautiful with all the glaciers. Very nice video. What was the actual time of year you were there on this? Thanks for sharing.

We are very lucky! Both years that we visited Glacier Bay it happened to be July. Different experiences each year. The first year we couldn’t leave the whales to go see the glaciers. It was so incredible!

I am currently seriously looking at purchasing a N55. Now that you have your 50 , which would you consider a better fit . I live in Vancouver, BC. We will be a using it predominantly as a liveaboard, for my daughter, wife and myself. Thx , and great videos

The N50 is a really good fit for us. But, there are only two of us. With your daughter the N55 might be a better fit. I am not sure we would have down sized if there were more than 2 of us. The N55 gives you more space, more storage, more food storage, a dedicated laundry area, and a little more room in the pilot house. I would highly recommend a diesel furnace as well. We were always very comfortable and dry with our hydronic diesel heat. Glad you are enjoying the videos. I hope they are helpful for your adventures!

We’re you able to determine where the Moraine was ?

We look at charts skeptically with the changing glaciers influencing the depth of the water. We pay pay attention to all of instruments.
