😂 it’s not a ronins “job” to heal. With this update, every single class has multiple ways to heal. You can’t go into a game expecting someone else to heal you. Granted, this is a RIVALS BUILD. Survival is different. I def throw on healing incense and group heal.
We are doing our mastery challenges and most of them involve picking up downed allies. So we are letting you bleed for the challenges and revenge/personal amusement. If you cannot complete anything without a Ronin as your handicap, you're not as good as you think.
Strong build right there!good job with this one m8. other option would be stealth charm with status effect dmg +fire dmg and firemaster +resolve increase. Add the fire ult to it and it will melt them in no time. The stack with ronin's new fire ability is just crazy.
Lawley I've been getting bored I've grinding for resources and I still have yet to get magma bomb and the new resolve gourd. I really feel like suckerpunch needs to buff up the resources we get because I run out of all 3 now because it's so expensive to get that perfect build. I just don't have the time to grind endless hours for minimal rewards and resources. I sure hope in the coming months we get more dlc for legends because I am not a fan of rivals and the new chapter 3 raid. I would like brand new raids and gear 120 for rewards. As well as newer modes and new missions for everything in the game.
On Hunter, instead of focus on aim and getting quick resolve, u have to lower enemies health in order to finish them off with Kunai, then u can shoot Explosive arrow once they group? The process seems complicated
Def is a good alternative. But the charm properties can’t have fire damage and status effect damage. So with heavenly rebuke you’d have to run oni dmg and status damage. Not as high high but will def buff your concussion bombs and HS

(you know, the ghost stance kill animations from singleplayer) I've just tried it a few a times, but if you have to choose between the Stone Striker and the Heavenly Rebuke as a legendary - I would always go for the sword because of that. great build, Gooshy. keep up the good work. Haha yeah it get a while to get used to playing around drums and ammo stations to regain health. Def try using the smoke. Smoke automatically triggers the combat regen
I'm so used to saving everyone's ass as a Ronin, now you want me to be the offensive power house?! 🤔🤔 I might have to check this build out. I'm not sure if I have the Stone Striker sword though. I'm normally using a water sword..also, I noticed you jump a lot during combat. I guess this helps when larger enemies strike the ground, I've never tried that I'm normally rolling away, which takes me out of the action and I have to awkwardly try and come back to it. I personally enjoy samurai more because you don't need to look for ammo refills all the time. Samurai can do major aoe damage with his new fire ability and every now and then add some black fire bombs

Black Powder Bombs, then Flaming Roar, then Kunai what's left. On the really gnarly boss waves Fire Breath or Staggering Breath can be your ace in the hole. Works amazingly for survival. I think Rivals can be another animal altogether depending on the map and if you know where the groups spawn.

Yo Gooshy... here’s some followup. I tried your ghost striker ronin build lastnt, and like it quite a bit. I was concerned re: NO healing (except health regen on stealth charm + increased self healing by 50%), HOWEVER I’ve found that it is plenty healing for me... PLUS I’m much more mobile (no sitting in one place at incense pot) & allows me to focus on *offense* (like Hunter) and not defense!! This allows quite a refreshingly more aggressive playstyle for Ronin (which I like... since *everyone* can heal now!). Requires very specific playstyle/strategy... *especially* throwing ALL your ghost weapons out there *before* using your spirit kunai to get them all back... this is KEY !! Much more effective offensively 😎. And the crazy thing is... never missed my smoke/munitions?! Thx
Even though both ronin and samurai is in a bit of an identity crisis right now this build slaps and it did before the update aswell. Before the update I'd just use sticky and of course the healing incense.
As much as I do agree that the ultimate where the ronin weakens is annoying when it blasts everyone away, I use a build where it revolves around it. I have a charm that has super impactful and fire master where I set them all on fire with flaming roar then use the ultimate to weaken everyone killing most enemies and finish the rest off with the legendary spirit kunai with super massive and hidden blade reseting my flaming roar and then I have enough resolve for my ult again. I think it's a pretty neat build and what's good is that the ultimate causes all enemies including purple oni and brutes to be blasted and be affected by the super impactful so I can use critical strike on them or just to stall them out for my spirit kunai. In public games tho I use healing incense and use black powder bombs. I think it's a pretty nice build that focuses on a new ultimate that is kind of overshadowed by fire ronin and ghost weapon ronin but is still pretty decent and different play style too!
I used a build like this. Always try to drop a bomb behind an enemy so they get knocked towards me to save half a second. Then switched to the Magma. using stun, smoke, magma, cool downs on kill, it keep groups cold or dead indefinitely while loading up for heavenly strikes.
Ult damage + ghost weapon damage with the new ult rocks! I use the legendary caltrops to weaken as well. New ult oneshots everything except oni and the bigger guys

Ive been running this exact same build for a few weeks now and it makes alot of fun. With the kunai, you almost always have all cooldowns up. Nice build
I've been really enjoying the Ronin since the update. Been using heavenly rebuke charm and the new fire ability and the new gourd for more lightning powered heavenly strikes 🙂. I keep my healing ult for emergencies,which the gourd helps with as well. So much fun. Nice build by the way. Enjoying your ghost content.

You can go with poison blade instead of burning blade, it synergise with the special ability of the stone striker

Combat Regeneration unfortunately does not effect Quick Regen.
Given the fact that Heavenly Strike costs 1 resolve per use, wouldn't it be better to go for Resolve Increase rather than Quick Regen for perk 2?

Instead of running burning blade I put on water instead to give a lot of versatility. Great vid helped a lot for rivals
