the best combination ever for my acne prone oily, Indonesian skin (Fitzpatrick III) is retinoid + peptide. I started years ago with the good old DE Retinol Serum + Protini Cream, and since a year ago I'm moving towards higher concentration of peptide and retinol. I'm currently using Allies of Skin Retinal Cream + Allies of Skin Advanced Peptide Treatment, and maaaaannnnn my skin has never been better. The pores are smoother, the the small blackheads on my forehead have reduced significantly, the breakouts are very minimal, the overall skin tone is brighter. Hopefully it's helping someone out there :*
Dermatologist, Dr Dray, has a whole video on the Reedle shot serum that everyone should watch. Dermatologists, in general don’t like that serum & wouldn’t even use it on themselves.
Not again with the misuse of terms... guys please listen (and also channel). I need to clear something: 1. The term "RETINOID" is an umbrella term of topical Vitamin A 2. This channel used the term "RETINOID" as if it's a more advanced or intermediate product of retinol... WHICH IS WRONG! 3. The term "RETINOL" is a type of "retinoid" that is created to be less irritating compared from pure retinoic acid (which is TRETINOIN). I am so disappointed because this is one of my favorite channel when it comes to skincare. But recently, they've been spreading false information by using wrong terms. Their recent one was the one about blackheads when it's actually sebaceous filament. Beauty Within, please do better.
Tret and diff didn't work for me (I've tried all ways to make it work), you say retinol is less irritating, would it help me with my scars, acne, texture ? With out purging?
@@eveyy_xo I mean it could, but in a less effective way since the retinoic acid in it is "toned down". But I don't know about actual acne "SCARS" only lasers can make it less noticeable. And about purging, if you have some texture that needs to be addressed, I'm sorry to break it to you but it needs to be a pimple first before it goes away (aka purging)
No, that's not accurate. Sure they all branch out from vitamin A, however, they are different. Retinoids are prescription-strength skincare, while retinols are much weaker. Even doctors use the same terms. Based on strength it’s retinoids, retinals, and then retinols.
I definitely need to take more notes, because you covered it all, but I do have one question - your opinion on physical exfoliators, like brushes? I have been using luna 3 and I find it to be great
I'm 22. My skin is normal & sensitive. Some places it's to much dry. Also I have some white acne..please help me with some skincare tips..Can you please make a video with my skin type?
I am so lost again when it comes to skincare: so many product are on the market and I just dont know which one to choose anymore. Recently I came back from abroad so my skin is very dry. My skintype is combo, I have some large pores in my T-zone and some texture on my cheeks.. I thought maybe the cica reti-a cream would be beneficial, but its not available in my country. Anyone have any tips or other recommendations?
Hi I have one question. As a pre teen what are some of these tips I can use and shouldn't use for my skin? Also thank you for making these video I love watching them.❤
I think that the products and tips she mentioned can be really strong for a preteen. If you have acne, textured skin, or excess sebum production, use a salicylic acid cleanser and keep your routine simple. In the morning, wash your face with micellar water, then use sunscreen. At night, use the salicylic acid cleanser and apply a non-comedogenic moisturiser. That’s all you need. If you have serious skin concerns, go to a dermatologist because they will definitely be the most helpful source of information about your skin concerns.
@@A_person143make sure not to go too hard with acids too! I love salycilic acid but like once a week. a good cleanser, moisturizer, and suncream will do you wonders. and don't smoke! vaping dehydrates too, as well as the rest. your skin will thank you if you don't start. good luck!
Since we are talking about retinol, I had seen on the internet that it cannot be used with certain ingredients used in skin care. It is true? If so, what ingredients are not recommended to mix with retinol? Thank you❤
Not the best idea because adapalene is a relatively strong retinoid and you really don’t need to use the VT reedle shot to increase its efficacy, this would instead most likely lead to skin irritation. Maybe use the VT reedle on the nights when you don’t use adapalene, instead using a gentle chemical exfoliant such as low strength AHAs, salicylic acid, PHAs, or retinol like she mentioned in the video.
Do you switch between your retinol products during the three days? I have tretinoin but feel like maybe I should do that one day, and next day use one of these that is combined with a calming product, then go back to tretinoin then my “rest” day. Does that make sense or a recipe for disaster?
lots of people do this! i would recommend only using 1 different retinol product from your tret to give your skin a little break from it but still get retinol benefits
Since tretinoin is prescription, I wouldn’t mess around with it too much. Go ask your dermatologist about whether what you’re considering makes sense for your skin goals.
Peptides and retinol can be used in the same day. It’s even recommended because the peptides provide good hydration for your skin to counteract any dryness you get from the retinol that you use.
Sunscreen is the most important for you right now. Take care of your skin now and you won’t need to do so much for “anti-aging” and “hyperpigmentation” when you are older. Look into some of the better Asian sunscreens so you will want to wear it everyday.

Hello. May I ask what’s your current skincare method & the frequency of using these products? TIA🫶🏼 @sannybangun
I didn’t know you can use reedle shot and retinol in the same routine.. ha. Thanks.
Your skin is flawless Fel!
Dermatica is my holy grail retinol been using it for years I'm now on the strongest dose and it's the only thing that clears my skin
Loving the reedle shot and can't wait to try more of their products 💜💜💜

I feel like the name “Reti-A” is intentionally similar to Retin-A despite being a totally different ingredient. I don’t love that.
Shifty.

The best way to not have texture is age and heredity. You don't need to worry yet at all.
Beautiful video😍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Literally my biggest issue I have no pimples at all, but my skin looks rough and with clogged pores 😭😭 like I’m so close to glass skin
Can’t wait to try my new products with includes some of the things you mentioned 😍

Hi! I'm really interested in trying the Reedle shot but I have visible (small) veins on my face. Is it still safe to use? Thank you!
I went to adapalene without the going beginner step. Huge mistake. Destroyed my skin. Please go with the recommendation of using a beginner retinol.
@beautywithin so are you saying that it's ok to use VT cica reedle and a retinol at the same time? I always thought you couldn't do that
Love a good sheet mask! When masking at night would they be the last step of the routine or before serums etc?
Last

All these steps(except exfoliants of course) are for one time routine?? It's confusing. You can use sheet mask after retinol?
