The chef knife performed very well. Good review. It has an HRC hardness of 60-62, which is about right for an all-around chef knife as long as you don't cut through bones with it.
Dude, this is obviously NOT real damascus steel. Just look at the product photos online and compare the patterns-they are IDENTICAL. This is NOT how real damascus would turn out. This knife is simply polished and then laser etched. Production of a real damascus knife can’t be had for that price. But we can agree that this pattern is one of the nicer designed ones.
