Hi . My Sunneko knife cut / stabbed my finger at the corner near the handle , twice . So I dulled and rounded that cnr for about 3mm . Never cut me since . Saw a commenter say he believes your blade is fake so I checked mine on the top edge with 60x magnifier . Can see the thick core steel and multiple thin layers outside of it . Suggest you check yours the same way for peace of mind . ( Or disappointment )

That is NOT damascus steel, it is a fake laser itched knife. Better do some Google search to see what Damascus steel is about.

Greetings from Jacksonville Florida USA. You're right that there are wheelbarrows full of Damascus fakes online, but this one might be genuine, even at this price. Very hard to know for sure. Anyway, it is a beautiful knife. Enjoy!

@@jacksonfl In fact I have the same knife and have few of genuine Damascus knives to compare with. It is easy to compare few layer real Damascus against this one, as this one does NOT have any layers on the sharp edge where the layers should be exposed. This is a 'good' knife for the price made from one block of steel. This is a FAKE Damascus but a good knife for the price.
