The dancing kills me. I can't do any of it myself but I absolutely love to watch a professional dance. It's like magic to see how easy they make it look to be elegant and sexy in equal parts and look like it's completely intuitive. Nice job....would have been fun to watch as an audience member. Now you've got me realizing how much more inquisitive I need to be when I finally book a cruise to see how cool the entertainment will be.

Ps. I think every cruise itinerary is a whole new world with a different experience, so you don’t have to put the mediterraneans above the caribbean! I think in combination with the new ship and job you may even like this one more🤷🏼♀️🤗

It is so fun to see, you did almost the exact same tour of Barcelona as I did in my last contract on my last Barcelona call. As well as the exact same restaurant 🙈
To the point of luggage overweight, when u have a proper seamansbook 40kg total is your luggage with most airlines (it doesn’t matter what you get booked, except Ryanair, Spirit and so on) so if you do not exceed the total of 40kg and per peace 30kg you do not have to pay anything extra. Cause it is covers with the crew faires (for seafarers and for airline crew this is the same)

Part of my wants to sell everything I own and go on contract for a year or two of my life just to have these experiences. I've worked long hours out of town on landslides and have gotten to travel across the southeast, but a part of me yearns to travel across the oceans and just see how things go. I don't have any entertainment experience, so I know I'd likely be stuck on board with labor jobs, but I still feel like it'd be interesting.

Hey girl love this shit , worked on the S/s Norway you would prob hav to look it up, do u no a secret to get up on those wings? Find a door that says high electrical go through and u find cat walks to them at least on the Norway i was a show drummer on there +quartet anyways enjoy your time there😊

Perhaps I missed an introduction, but you and the good looking guy you were out and about with are so cute together. (Boyfriend material? Although having that sort of relationship in your business must be hard.)
You are doing an excellent job with filming and editing. Perhaps you could explore that more when your dancing days are done.
Speaking of which, a bit of paternal advice (yeah, I am that old 😞)-I trust that you are saving money (not sure how well paid the performers are) for a rainy day or post dance career transition. I speak from experience as I didn’t save much when I was a junior officer on my first ship in Japan, although we didn’t get paid much back then and the dollar was plummeting against the yen. Fortunately, the locals liked my attempts at singing karaoke and Japanese enka songs, so did get some free drinks, LOL. (I only sing in Japanese or Korean as most English songs have too much of a range for me.)
Keep up the good work. Your videos are eye opening as well as enjoyable. As a former Navy officer, I am naturally interested in how the ship runs.

I've watched videos of a bar musician - I think it was on icon of the seas - he has an allowance to get off the ship for one day a year and has no access to excursions. He did a short about how happy he is to get off the ship for a whole day the first time after a full year.

It depends on the ship, cruiseline, and needs of the cruise director:)

Uhh, anyone watching this preparing to go or thinking about it - this is totally not indicative of the normal experience. I'm not even sure officers have it as good. No shade, this job is tough for everyone. I mean, in this video though it looks killer but there's two main reasons. 1. She wants a positive/showy video. 2. she's a performer, not a waitress or something, look at her fking room.... lol I can't even accurately explain how small mine was. AND 2 roomates. How's this, shower is standing room only, can not bend, and you take it next to the toilet... that gets wet/is in the shower space with you
This job is extremely challenging, but such a good life experience. Just don't go into thinking it'll be a vacation or traveling, with work.. So many people were mislead or misunderstood, and I saw ppl literally crying. You go amazing places but make no mistake, you're there to work. You can condition yourself and get acclimated to no sleep, and live a life outside of work, but it's all work all the time, no days off. Lastly, if you're from a western english speaking nation, you'll be a total black sheep. Especially if you're working a more normal job. I was one of 3 American's, out of a crew of over a thousand. So .003% Not that this is a bad thing, but you just have to expect you wont even really have someone to kind of go through things with. ONE more thing, find people that can help you, there's literally people that give haircuts, saves you a ton but more importantly it's quick and flexible, but this one's especially important: get in with the people that do the laundry. Throw them a few bucks to do yours, money can't be better spent. Not only saves you the time, but the crew laundry facilities are always full.

To be honest, id say, you are not the ships crew, you are part of ships entertainment crew, the actual crew doesnt have so much time off as you might have. They have to operate 24/7 to keep you safe, and when you did behind the scenes tour, to the actual engine compartments and main mechanical areas of the ship, they would not let you ever, without proper authority, ever. That im saying as aviation engineer, and i suppose its all the same for ships.

Personally working on cruise ships for years myself, just think would be a little better to get a less subjective view of crew members onboard. 95% of the crew don't have the luxuries you're presenting. Not doubting your work ethic or job, just might be pushing the wrong idea to people who want to work on a ship. No hate, just a thought.
Totally hear ya! I’d say my intention is to just share what my life is like with whoever is interested. For those wanting to be cruise ship crew members who are entertainers, I think that what my videos reflect best on 🤗

eat a lot of rich food and hardly train, not doing well and you could already see the result on the beach when you walked to the sea with your surfboard (legs/stomach) in Hawaii
