Awesome remix! 😄 This track definitely needs more remixes in general on RUclips. The harmony you made at 0:07 sounds very 'classic mega man'. I don’t remember which tracks have that same type of harmony but I think it occurs pretty often in the original NES mega man series.

I'd say it's because Mega Man X5 was supposed to be the last X game. It's why out of every X game, this one has the most references and callbacks to classic Mega Man and old Mega Man X games with the music, Yellow(Black) Devil, Wily Capsule, Wily's W in the background, Sigma possibly referencing Wily at the end of the game, and why even Quick Man's music showed up.
I love all of this. I only wish the drums had more bass to them or more crunch? The snare feels like it could be crunchier to really punch around the melody. Awesome stuff.
The most epic plot arc...dropped for the next installment...because the trauma of losing a main character TWICE isn't enough. Yes... because it wasn't convoluted enough. 😆 So we pretend it was all trivial, just like we pretend the Eurasia colony incident practically being Armageddon was no big deal because somehow things were just fine with civilization by X7. Then the vested interests make sure the DNA copy chip stays in production despite Lumine using Sigma one last time before bragging about his megalomaniacal intentions... before proceeding to have a duel mirroring the battle in heaven in biblical texts, or the mutiny of the head watchman in Sumerian lore, depending what version you want to go on. And somehow at some indeterminate point Zero is sealed away for 102 years...and the 1997 plot leak on AOL is confirmed to actually have been the truth as Zero is in a clone body fighting his original body...and for the third time ambiguously dies again taking down Dr Weil being he's the scumbag human equivalent of a maverick. Seems legit.
