Afterschool shopping sounds like a good way to end the already busy day!! My children love going shopping too. Especially since my oldest now gets an allowance 😅
So glad that Everett got lots of samples! Hope all the boys have a great school year! Hopefully we still will see Everett go shopping with you again!
I'll miss Everett's stories from Costco. He's definitely a day brightener. I hope all the boys have a good school year. I don't see the french toast casserole recipe. My family will love that.

As a teacher, I would LOVE to have Everett in my class! What a sweet, bright and thoughtful little guy. The way he categorized the different sections of his review of the Halloween decoration and assigned numbers?!?! Wow! His teacher is going to think they won the student lottery! Lol! I am off to buy some tray buns and freeze sandwiches! Thank you. I wish we could get those Hawaiian buns here in Canada! With only one son, we are always throwing out sandwich meat that doesn't get used in time. This will save us some $$.

We lived on a farm we 1 freezer for beef one for pork 1 for chicken..one for wild meat duck, deer, fish

Everett could have half a plain bagel sandwich. Our schools are peanut free. Wish considered when I was in school. Just the scent gave me an attack and transfer from table despite wiped with dry paper towel equals epi pen.

we would make little pizzas with English muffins, lots of great samples, that worked out ice cream after the salsa, my sister in law would make extra pancakes freeze them individually and they could pop them in toaster for a quick breakfast.
My family did the same thing for school/ work lunches. Had a Sunday night dinner of ham, chicken, roast. Then after dinner an assembly line to make the week of sandwiches to freeze for grab and go in the morning
Everett is the sample king!! He was really enjoying himself. That would be awesome if was that low. That is not good. Those look good.
Check office supply stores for glue sticks.
Michael's is another option if they exist there.

You could also let the crusts dry out and put them in your food processor for bread crumbs

Ham and cheese on plain bagels 🥯 put them in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese melts so good

As far as buses and the driver shortages, we have the same issues in northern Indiana. You never know from day to day if you’ll have a bus. My mom has to have my nephew on the bus at 6:20 and there have been days he didn’t get home until after 4pm due to waiting on a driver from another route to get back and take those kids home.
I love his face and yuck when he tried the beverage. Absolutely wonderful facial expressions.

My friend does pbj for freezer she said that peanut butter on both sides makes the difference. Also on small cucumbers watch closely every I have talked to at one time or another they went bad fast. Praying y'all have a good school year.
This was a delightful beginning to the school year. I loved stopping by & shopping with you "2" on occasion.. Loved the "Oh Snap" pickles you said you loved @ $1.49. Well, I found out I liked them too. I was thinking of you. The coconut water taste look on Everet, priceless. I can't find Maple Leaf cookies here in Independence, Va. or in Sparta, N.C. Use to get a box I think by DARE @ $2.99. I bought 1-2 that year I found them @ Walgreens in Sparta, N.C.. Never seen again. At least not the stores I frequented. They were so good. Love the sandwich ideas for lunches. Looking forward to dropping in again. Good luck in Kindergarten Everett. Hope you like school. Love you folks!

Weekday shopping trips aren’t too bad in the evenings if you go in the middle of the week, hopefully it works out for you two. The plain bagels are a great opportunity for Chef Everett to come up with some fun toppings for different spreads and jams. Cinnamon and raisins with peanut butter is a delicious way I personally like to spruce up a boring bagel.

Also, vitamin D3 helps with respiratory health. It can help keep the flu away. My kids are ones to easily catch the flu every year!!

Happy to see that the Kings Hawaiian sandwiches are freeze able. I like having different food ideas in the freezer, helps me avoid the fast food drive thru so much.
