Can't make my mind up, fishing or foraging, I love all the videos! Beautiful lobster, they are such a majestic creature! Threw some lures around in the surf at Trevellas Cove, last two hours of the flood on Saturday afternoon till dusk. Got soaked in the drizzle and didn't have a sniff of a fish, but by 'eck I had an absolute blast! Cormorant was ducking and diving between the sets and having zero issue catching! That, at least, gave me hope I “might” catch something. I'm pretty sure anyone walking the coast path sped up their steps as they passed the soaked nutter in wellies, joking away with the waves and cormorant, hollering and dancing about. Meh, who cares, I was having so much fun! Wonder if I'll ever actually grow up? 😁
@@TheFishLocker Just harmless fun, if it were to cause discomfort to anyone, I think the problem lays with them, not me. Although I would hope it'd just make most folk chuckle, seeing someone so cheerful and happy on such a wet, windy day.

If you are happy, who cares what anyone else thinks. They just don’t get it. 😉👍🏻
@@TheFishLocker Just harmless fun, if it were to cause discomfort to anyone, I think the problem lays with them, not me. Although I would hope it'd just make most folk chuckle, seeing someone so cheerful and happy on such a wet, windy day.
Well done. You provide us great enjoyment. Thank you
It is my pleasure brother.
Love the foraging videos dude. So educational, your channel is my favourite on YT at the moment.
It is our pleasure. Thank you for joining us. 😊💙
Oh that is so cool! I am a studying meterology major at NCSU (go wolfpack!), you don't hear of many people studying meterology, even for a minor, at least in my area of the US. I'm glad to see that it is interesting to you as well!
That is really cool. I was studying it for my seamanship and skippers certificates. 😊👍🏻
@@TheFishLocker that's so cool!
Always enjoyable and educational.👏👏
Don't think I'd try that around my local coast😲.
That's if I could even find a crab🦀 or lobster.🦞🥺🥺
I love sitting with my 2yr old grandson, who adores your foraging videos, and he loves to see the variety of things you show.♥️♥️
Thank you again for sharing.👍👍
Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
All the best mate. Stay safe. 🦞👍🏻
I love your tidal pool forging and exploring ..makes me want to adventure and be a kid all over 🤔🙌🏼✌🏽💪🏼
You are never too old to enjoy searching in rockpools. 😊🦞
I ate every bit of that lobster with you then. Lucky man. I found it extremely interesting about the clouds, I couldn’t read the clouds, I will try now though.
The world is a fascinating place isn’t it. 😊
So good & full of helpful information! My kids & I have been doing a few videos of our own about our rockpooling adventures in Robinhoods bay & this is what we are striving for! Thanks mate & all the best👍😊
I learned my craft down Bogglehole and under the high light. So you're in the prime spot. 👍🏻🦞🦀
@@TheFishLocker Yes I’d heard you were from round these parts! We were at boggle hole last week. Lived in Ravenscar before here so got to see the seals a lot! We’re going to do some line fishing in the rock pools here in the bay next when the weather improves & have already got a bit of good footage but it’s so hard to get the subscribers & the word out, we’re not nearly as knowledgable as you but learning all the time! I got the rockpooling bug as a kid visiting my dad down in Looe in Cornwall, if you haven’t been already I’d highly recommend it! It has a great rockpool beach! Any advise for a small channel starting out? Thanks mate 👍
You are killing it John, that catch and cook was just fantastic and above all else it was educational. Love to you and the family and keep going, we all appreciate it X
Thank you Nick. I hope people enjoyed joining me for a little rockpooling adventure. 😊🦞
That pink tag probably came from Cape Breton. Former Nova Scotia girl here. I hope you get to Cape Breton one day.
I would love to visit Nova Scotia. But in the summer. 😉🦞
I've never eaten seafood other than tuna or cod.. have no desire to... but I absolutely love these videos and the education he gives.. and the respect he has for it. If I'm ever in a situation where I have to eat seafood.. I have a better idea of what to do .
These is so much wonderful seafood out there in the world to experience. I understand if you have no desire to try it because it is not for everyone. But it can be wonderful. 😊
This video is the modern version of "the good life" amazing fresh food 👍👍
Simple, fresh and sustainable. Perfect. 😊👍🏻🦞
Another fantastic and educational video!
Like a fresh and young Attenborough! Keep it up John
You’ve got to love sir david. 😊💙
Really enjoy your videos! This is all new to me but very informative! Thanks.
I hope you enjoy the rest of our content too. Have a great day and welcome to the channel. 🦞👍🏻😊
I’m watching from New Brunswick! Was was like oh that’s a lobster trap tag! How interesting that it ended up that far !
Incredible isn’t it!!
Your so calming to watch love to watch and just relax
Thank you, I am glad you enjoy the videos. 🦞
Love this. I could actually taste that Lobster watching you eat it. Sad to see the rubbish amongst the rock pools.
It happens after rough weather.
For some reason I never really took in that lobsters aren't red naturally until I started watching your videos. Was cool hearing why they turn red when cooked. I hope to try one someday. Only thing close I had was crab and I loved it as a kid. Thanks for these videos, I really enjoy the costal foraging ones since it is fun seeing what types of plants and creatures are lurking. It's like being a kid and just exploring while you are out at the park or beach. Always something to see.
Every day is a school day. 😉🦞 Glad your enjoying joining me on the coast. 😊
