I've been subscribed to your channel for many many years. Probably over 10 years. And I want you to know that I still revisit these old videos to sew new things for my family & myself. I love all of your work. So talented great job
+Jacqueline Haley Thanks Jacqueline !! That is so sweet of you to say :) You just made my day !!! Thanks again for watching and I hope you had a FABULOUS day! HUGS :)
+rxstrmom Thanks Patti !! I'm so glad you like my refashions. This was an easy and quick one that I had done a few months ago and never posted it. Just came across it in my files and decided to post it. Thanks for watching and enjoy your holiday weekend! HUGS :)
Hmmm, not a halter but a Chinese Du-Du. The original 70s Halter really took two bandanas and you knotted the corners correctly and you had a dry top to wear after your T-shirt got soaked being tossed into the river. The instructions were passed around in Jr. High. And, if you could sew, the pattern for turning two old pair of jeans into a killer jean skirt followed shortly after. Me? I was the nerdy kid who found where to buy colorful bandannas in bulk and was selling them out of his locker.
Thank goodness there isn't much sewing on this project so you could easily to this one by hand. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a GREAT weekend! HUGS :)

If your bandana is large enough, yes elastic at the bottom would be a great way to finish off the bottom. Great idea !! Thanks again and I hope you are having a LOVELY day! HUGS :)
+Irma Brooks Sorry, I just saw your message. Not sure how I missed it. I'd wear this around the house or by our pool without guests, but my mid-section is too heavy for me to want to post a picture of this one :) Sorry about that :) Thanks for watching and I hope you had a GREAT day! HUGS :)

Great idea Amy! I love it. I see those in my DT all the time and wonder what I could do with them. Hugs!
Oh my goodness this is awesome! I already have bandanas, unfortunately my sewing machine has a broken needle, so looks like I'm hand sewing it!

Love it and bandanas are so cheap. You would pay $20 for that shirt uptown you can make it for $2.

Do you think using elastic around the bottom for the shorter version would work for more security?
