Kirjoitan Suomeksi koska osaan paremmin niin🙂.. Land of Simo Häyhä!.. mietin itsekseni että olet "hyvä jätkä".. nyt tulee kysymys koskien 22Wmr.. onko 40gr noin 2,5,grams and witsh is accurate Remington or Cci 40gr Fmj.. meillä on luodit loppu.. johtuuko ukrainan sodasta.. en tiedä??.. Ja tuohon äskeiseen en pyydä vastausta.. WTW nice work!!🙂🇪🇺🇫🇮 ps. Greets from Finland!. Pps.. use translator..

The Winchester super x hollow points are pretty explosive and shoot well in my marlin
@@dyouden thankx but CZ . Th, 457 short Bore.. its now easy shoot a bottle cap In 100meter. But thanx anyvay🙂.. S&b newer try so let see..
I ran some Rem. 22 mag through my marlin M922 and I had an issue with hot rounds. So hot that one round split its brass case, another casing stretched in the barrel and had to be forced out of the breech through the barrel. The other rounds gave me good groupings.
22 Magnum is always fun to shoot.
I had nothing to do with the .22WMR until about 6 months ago when I bought a rock island Czech import, 8 shot revolver.
Absolutely LOVE IT!
22 mag is a potent round!
In the right hands the 22mag is
super lethal and deadly, even out to extended ranges. My go to rifle when slaughtering cattle and hogs for home consumptions.
I've hunted with a 22 magnum for 50+ years, coyotes, woodchuck, fox, squirrel's, rabbits, raccoons and the like. I'm sure in a survivable situation the 22 magnum would keep you feed.
Especially the Savage over and under, 22 on top and 12 ga on bottom.
Ive seen footage of a deer taken at 32 yards an it was a brain shot and dropped it instantly
@@watermann8200 facts thats my mountain lion and cougar go to rifle
@@watermann8200 I have that gun with a .410 on bottom and .22 magnum on top. Great all around gun.
It’s one of it not the favorite calibers I have.
I have always felt that the 22 magnum does not get enough love, there should be at least a dozen modern semi-automatic magazine fed pistols on the market that shoot this cartridge, and more than 10 rounds please! With the tiny diameter of the cartridge there should be at least a 30 round magazine!
I agree
Not positive, but i think RUGER made a 22 magum semi-auto pistol with a 30 round magazine. 🤔
I just looked it up , Keltec makes a 30 round semi-auto.
Keltec pmr30
@@varminthunter Keltec makes the PMR and CMR with 30 round mags. I have both. What fun.
For a couple years, I believe Ruger made a 10/22 Magnum. Unreliable, and they tended to blow up, and not many sold, so it was discontinued. Fact check, please. This was from memory.
22 WMR is my go to varmint rifle. I have killed a pile of varmints with this up to some very large beavers at our duck club that had become a real nuisance. A 22 WMR is no joke it will take down deer with the right shot. It is well known to spotlighters' and poachers. Gator hunters use this caliber for their kill shots. Very versatile cartridge.
My uncle from the Appalachian mountains hunted EVERYTHING with a 22mag. He said from squirrel to man it'll drop em lol
I use the same ammo for fox. Kind of stumbled upon it by mistake but glad I did. Love the Remington 40 gr psp!
That is respectable accuracy at 100 yards from a 22 Mag. For a cartridge that usually doesn't do that well at 100, I think the Remington stuff is pretty good.
I have a Savage 93FSS and a Kel-tec PMR30 and I love them both. Looking forward to finding some of the Remingtons to try myself. Thanks for a great video!
Just got the new Rossi auto 22mag rifle, looking forward to trying it out. Keep the pmr 30 next to the bed for the wifey, enough power and boo lots and no much recoil for smaller people. Brother got the same Savage your shooting, it’s been a very good reliable tool. Thanks for all ya do Who Tee Who. 🤴🏼🎥💯👍🙏🏻
I bought that same rifle last year and I’m really liking that it’s very accurate for an auto. I’m planning on hunting wild hogs with it when the 22 mag only is legal for that on WMA’s
Good video . Wasn’t expecting it go through all 4 jugs . Good shooting and ammo.
I saw a deer that was poached with (We were told by fish and game) a 22 Mag soft point. The buck was about 170lbs and shot a little high behind the shoulder at about 40 yards. The bullet hit the heart. The bullet entrance was a hole a little smaller than a dime and it exited the offside making a hole about the size of a quarter. According to what we were told, the shot was made from a tree stand about 10' high. There was no blood trail. Fish and Game said the deer died right where it was hit. Apparently, there is quite a bit of power in the 22 mag soft point.
Apparently it doesn't matter what you use, shot placement is the key.
Awesome! I just got a Savage 93 in 22 WMR too and it's a blast to shoot. The two-stage trigger is really awesome for an affordable rifle like that.
4 milk jugs of water awsome. I was thinking of buying 22 l.r.. i am sold on the 22 mag. Great video suprizing result. Affective range i would say is 100 yrds. Whith great penitration. Keep the videos coming. Hers one 6.5 Creadmore T.C. Compas. You love budget guns that perfom so do i. Smith and Weson realy brought it for a 299.00 rifle check the features. Keep on shooting and hunting.
I really like the savage line of rimfire rifles. I've got a 17 hmr 22 win mag an a pair of 22 long rifles. They are heck on critter's
Grab one of those bmag 17WSM rifles and try it out. I love mine. Its a lot different than the HMR in my opinion, ive hoped WTW would try one out
@@Hammerback0 I would like to try a 17 wsm but I haven't seen any ammo or rifles chambered in that for awhile
Ya I haven't seen any ammo or rifle chambered in 17 wsm either for awhile.
I have been backing Savage rimfire rifles for years! They are super affordable and far more accurate than they should be for the cost. I have a Savage 93FVSS that was a Christmas gift nine years ago...best Christmas gift ever btw. The best five shot group I have gotten out of it was from the CCI 30gr. VNT, which was 5/8" at 100 yards. 22 Magnum was never marketed as a particularly precise cartridge, but modern powders and bullets make a world of difference. Outside of the sentimental value, I wouldn't trade my Savage 93 for anything just because it's so damn accurate.
The third group the barrel was seasoned and a great group! Great Video
I used to offside to a pro roo shooter way back before the laws changed here in Oz, out to a hundred yards with an anshults 22 mag. Clean kill everytime. Head shots....great little round underrated as a hunting round in my oppinion.
I shot hundreds of gophers in Saskatchewan and. 22 Mag was the best value/ Performance cartridge you will find !
Works good here in northern Montana too.
I have always wanted to try one of those savage 22 mags, like that one. Looks like an awesome shooter.
I'm impressed with those 22 mag. shells, I also figured it would be in the third jug. I need to dig my gun out again and do some shooting. I have forgotten how much fun that rifle is fun to shoot. Thanks for the reminder.
I have the same model in stainless .
If you can find it Federal is making the Remington 33 grain premier and it is pretty accurate in mine.
At the moment I have Hornady 30 grain until I run them out and they are almost as accurate but are very fast and explosive on critters.
For varmint control I would be carful if a round doesn't expand enough.
Nice shooting-have a good one.
you give me hope on .22wmr again. i have sold/traded so many .22wmr guns because i can never find ammo for that gun that shoots even 1.5moa . and no its not me, i get rid of .22lr if they cant hold 1moa. have to find this stuff now. great video!
Great Remington Ammo. I like the Savage 93 also. good looking rifle.
I have the hollow point version of that exact load I carry in my 6 ¹/² inch barrel revolver while mowing or some other small yard work not a bad round
Love 22 period. Don't have a 22mag rifle anymore but I do have a 22lr rifle. I do have a heritage 6 inch revolver that will shoot both mag and lr. Awesome little gun, especially for the price.
Shooting a clay block with the 22 MAG out of a PMR-30 and compare it to 9mm, now THAT would be a really fun video!
Very impressive with your .22 mag. I have a Ruger American in a .22 mag and shoots sub moa consistently with most ammo. Great to have a budget rifle in .22 mag. Shoot at range waiting for cool down on big boy guns. Thanks
Thanks for the entertainment/information on a daily basis.
Your awesome
Appreciate you watching 🙏
Great video Adam. Sub MOA out of an inexpensive sporter is almost unheard of. Another RUclipsr Ozziegunreviews recently did an accuracy test with this Remington ammo and also achieved sub MOA out of a Ruger 22 Magnum. Very punchy as well. I'll have to grab a pack and try in my my CZ. Thanks for sharing man!
I shot some of that ammo in my newly acquired Walther WMP and it cycled perfectly.
Looking for one of those now..👍
Awesome
I worked predator control on ranches in Far west Texas and the .22 mag was my go to rifles of choice! Very good performance on predators up to coyotes and bobcats . I up the anti on mountain lion using a .220 swift or .30-30 depending on the terrain! Great video HTH !
I love these from the NAA mini revolvers.
Really fun caliber & get the job done 👌
Absolutely
Great video! I'm surprised it went through four jugs too. 22 mag is awesome!
Wow Adam...that was surprising with the water jugs. Sweet! Thanks WTW!!!😁👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Yea those are pretty nice. Remington also makes a 40gr JHP that performs the same.
Great video , nice shooting
Nice shooting. I've always liked 22 mag.
I have loved the mag and that's what I have called it since I got my first one it is one of the best all around calibers that is out there
This is excellent ammunition!!
I’m clocking these out of my PMR30 at 1254fps with very good groups @21’. Have yet to clock them out of my CMR30 or my Savage 93 but I’m thinking that out of a 16” barrel it should be around 1700fps. Awesome penetration at 100 yards!! I didn’t expect that either! Midway has this in stock.
Look up ammo grab or ammo seek there you will find 22 Magnum for as cheap as 28 cents around way cheaper than what sportsman is selling this Remington ammo and you can get CCI which is better and groups a lot better out of my Savage model 93
Great shooting WTW, and I was very surprised by the jug test too
.22 Mag has about the same power from a rifle as a small 9mm. Over 300 ft/lbs - no joke!
I shot a 30 grain .22 mag cartridge in my basement a couple of years ago. I have a .22 LR bullet trap, plus I placed three 2x4s back to back. The bullet almost went through all three of those boards. The bullet was sticking out of the third board!
@@larrymcguire9686 Close one! Yeah it is quite a little cartridge!
Vicious little round, I have a 22mag pistol and I’m a believer. They really have some power. I keep hearing that they aren’t enough for protection, I beg to differ, they will rip some ass.
I'll have get some of these. Pretty dang impressive.
I like it
I wonder if the bullet failed to expand at the lower 100yd velocity. If you do try again, it might be interesting to see how the expansion/ penetration varies between velocities at 100yds vs. muzzle (approx., within safety considerations).
If that bullet penitrates 4 milk jugs at 1000 yrds. I dont need to retreive a bullet. It did not over expand which is the worry.and did not fly appart. Great per. For 40 gr. 22 cal. Bullet.
Not sure if anyone mentioned yet, but a penny, works absolutely perfect for adjusting a scope!
👍👍
Thanks for sharing. I'd love to see more Remington 22 Magnum Rimfire shots.
I subsistence hunt in the arctic and 22mag is my go to for anything smaller than caribou. Great round for ptarmigan, arctic hare, goose, duck, seal, fox.
I got a Marlin 782 it’s killed many many of groundhog and it liked the old Winchester silver box 40gr JHP cut the same hole damn near.🎯
Love your videos there so comparable to the everyday shooter. Should do side by side comparison with 17hmr, 17wsm and 22 mag.
Averaging sub MOA groups from such a basic combo is pretty impressive .
22 mag is still one of two cartridges I can't find on the shelves of my local shops, the other being 280 rem. It sucks because I got a heritage Rough Rider last winter that came with cylinders for 22lr and 22mag. It is way more accurate than I expected for being so inexpensive. I would love to see how the 22mags do in it, just not enough to pay the inflated prices on a certain auction site.
I love my ruger 10/22 magnum. Have several 25 round mags for it, finally. The original magazine only holds 9, unlike its little brother the 10/22, which holds 10.
This is a fantastic video and very entertaining.
Thanks for watching
I commented on this video a few days ago saying how it shot well for me in an old rechambered rifle and how I hoped it would shoot well in my recently acquired “like brand spanking new” Marlin 25MN. I went to the range today and the Remington .22WMR pointed soft point ammo showed out making “one ragged hole” groups at 50 yards. It’s good stuff! I’ll be looking for more.
I came across them .22WMR in sportsman warehouse and I knew I should have picked up a couple boxes.
Bought the same bullot flinger in 17 hmr hopefully it shoots as good 👍
I’ve got a mostly full box of that Remington .22 mag 40 grain soft point ammo from a good while back. It shot well in my rechambered to .22 mag Remington 514 single shot (along with several other brands). I’m gonna be trying it in my recently acquired, and pristine, Marlin 25MN. Hopefully it’ll group well in it too.
These rounds would be a good comparison to the CCI game points.
My favorite round to shoot are .22WMR and .17
I'd like to see some more water jug video's. Great work man. My family loves to watch them all.
Bear creek makes a .22 wmr upper for the AR platform. 16 and 10 inch available!!!😉
That's pretty awesome WTW, gotta try get me some of those
Just bought a Marlin Model 25MN - first 22mag rifle for me but it seems like a pretty fun caliber
Had a few 17HMR, but 22 mag never caught my eye...just picked up a Ruger Super Wrangler...watched your video...just placed an order for 15 boxes of these and the same 40 gr hollow point versions to try. Liked how close you got to 1910 on the chrono ( I know the ruger won't, but just knowing it had the juice was nice )
Good video! Like the Remington ammo. Thanks WTW.
You know a bunch of us will say
"come on Who Tee, shoot 'em in clay"!
I would still like to see a captured bullet.
👍😊🎯 I like the 22mag,I would like one of those Henry’s with the octagon barrel.👍😊
Great video thank you. I all so have the Savage .22 mag the same one you have and not shot it a lot yet but found Federal 50 grain group really good with it. Middle of winter up hear so a bit cold to do any testing. Would like to see you do the same test with the Federal Small Game .22 WMR 50 GR
I use a .22 mag. to shoot prairie dogs. Even very long shots are very doable with the .22 mag. A wind can cause a lot of drift on those longer shots though. An old time friend of my family used to be a Colorado game warden and whenever he had to trap a bear and dispatch it he would use a .22 mag.. My friends that hunt lions a lot let their customers use a .22 mag. pistol with a green laser sight to dispatch their lion, no big wholes when mounting that way.
22 mag critical defense is great also !! amazing in 40gr, yote dropper
Very good accuracy once the barrel was fouled. I've test many 22 mag loads out of a rifle at 100 yds. The only loads I've had any expansion with have been Hornady Critical Defense, CCI Gold Dot and Federal Punch.
That’s a great rifle. .22 magnum from a rifle is a very hot load. You’re getting close to 200 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle with that
I have shot rimfires a lot in my life. I have had 5 different .22 mag rifles over my 69 years. That rifle is very accurate. The .22 mag is just not inherently accurate. The .22 LR is more accurate in my experience. The best most accurate .22 mag rifle I ever owned was the Marlin Model 25M bolt gun I bought at Wal Mart. I have never owned a more accurate .22 Mag. I have a Savage .22 mag just like yours. It is accurate, but yours is more accurate than mine. Great shooting.
Them are some very nice Remington 22 win mags just like the Remington 22 LR yellow jackets gotta love them 👍
The bullet may not have mush roomed enough to make it stop in the jugs so it kept through
Great job dude it works good on rabbits to i love that round
Yep, I have the same scope on my Plinkster.
I use these bullets to shoot wild boar. Biggest 250 lb with 1 shot at 80 yds with a Chiappa little badger. Luv the Remington ammo. DRT..
Some really good 22mag good video thanks
Great video! I'll be looking for one.
On my little property a 22lr is all I thought I needed. But yesterday morning I went out at about 0400 and what did I hear but a pack of 5-6 coyotes? They were eyeballing my neighbors goats and singing them some songs. I don’t have any firearms or I would have tagged the one that ran right in front of me about 35 yards away. This morning at about 0330 I started hearing rifle fire, about 6-7 shots semi automatic. Things that make you say hmmmmmmmm. If he had thermal sights…..
I'm looking for a budget .22Mag, thanks for the video.
Excellent video! I might have to put one or more purchases of firearms and ammo, that I've been contemplating, on hold for the time being and pick up a rifle and scope like yours along with a few boxes of ammo and go coyote and/or hog hunting here shortly. Don't ask me why, it's just the way my little bitty mind works I guess but, visualize a Ruger 10/.30 Carbine for coyote and hog hunting out to 100 yards or so. It might have just a tee tee bit more recoil than a .22 Magnum, but you could reload the brass.
Thanks for watching Furman
The box I have of these same shells.they have olive green poly tips in them
I have a savage 93 22 mag its got that thick barrel on it. Its my fav gun. I can not shoot winchester shells in it they misfire all time !! If there clasified as a cheap gun there a great gun !! I was shooting sub sonic short cb touds 1 day outta my pistol. I went to water the lawn next day and water was spayin out sprinkler great for a few mins then it stoped. Took sprinkler off dumped a cb shell out of it. Couldnt figure out how it got in there till i turned water back on and saw a small stream of water coming out of hose 40 ft away from sprinkler. I hit the hose with that thing and it just went thru one side ! Lol
Every time I go to the range I always forget something. I go over everything in my bag . But will still forget something. Lol
The sportsmans in Roanoke va had a ton of Remington 22 wmr but it was all gone when I went back Saturday.
Same here
@@WHOTEEWHO all they had was federal, and they shoot like garbage in my marlin.
I'll just stick with the 22 long grateful
The farthest I've shot my Savage is 400 yards at a 16 inch plate. Beautiful rifle
I love the .22mag but I only hunt with HP ammo. Used a solid point one time at a ground hog at about 75 yards with my marlin rifle. Hit him mid back through the chest- he just walked away. Felt bad about that one.
I feel it may have been 1 of those oddball rounds that just so happens to not open up and mushroom out, I have seen it on other people testing vmax and hollow points, the entrance holes looked about the same size. Sad I wanted to see it spread
I have taken several deer with 22mag ammo head shot instant kills
I'll take that accuracy any day. Nice shootin.
Cant wait to try it out in my revolver.
Surprised! I would to see if they expanded. Probably not much going thru 4 jugs.
I picked up some of this stuff back around the end of June/early July but still haven't had a chance to run it out of my CMR30 yet. I found the shape of the projectile pretty interesting because it kinda lends itself to possibly making it through 3a soft body armor unlike hollow points or flat point TMJ stuff. I've seen where 22WMR could make it through when fired from a revolver, though not consistently at all (1 round out of 5 shot), but this particular round has me curious.
Love the 22mag, I own 4 of them. Never have came across any Remington ammo though. All CCI and Hornady. Although I think CCI and Remington are in cahoots.
Very similar to CCI's Gamepoint. They are designed to have controlled expansion and penetrate, for small game. I bet Remington's are doing a 20-30 fps better than CCI. I'm really liking what Remington has been doing to their ammo in the last couple years. Shedding that bad image they used to have. Quality is an apt word now.
