What is an

A flyover at our allotments and allotment ground (Granville Park) - South Manchester, UK.
An Allotment is an area of land that is rented - usually on an annual tenancy agreement. This is commonly from the local council (local authority), but sometimes allotments can be on private land or land owned by a Parish council.
Our allotment ground has plots that are either 250 sq.m in size or 125 sq.m.
The space is to be used to grow food - veg, fruit and sometimes flowers. On our ground no livestock is permitted.
