The enclosures are the best part about owning reptiles. It’s so fun creating tropical and naturalistic environments for them. The best part is when they explore and appreciate all the work you’ve done :,)
There is SO much enrichment here!! This is another amazing tank you created! I hope whenever I get a leopard gecko I make it as cool as y ours! I am BLOWN away!
I love this! I love and close your upgrades it's always so fun to see them in it for the 1st time it's so enriching. I know you said you had a few upgrades coming still but when you're done I think it would be cool to revisit some of your old upgrades to let us now how theyve been going. 😄
Absolutely!! I think once I do the next two upgrades I’ll do another reptile room tour and look at all of them since there have been so many changes. 💕
Loving all the content you’ve been putting out!!! While watching this I’ve been working on my bio-active crested gecko tank! You are for sure my favorite RUclipsr!! ❤️🦎
OMG I loved your new leopard gecko enclosure upgrade, it looks really cool with all the succulents and climbing areas!!!!! It's really inspiring to see such dedication and good work put into the care of your gecko, you are the reptile queen!!
Kiwi is really chill with the new digs. 💕 I love how you designed this. What's more you didn't stress me out with lots of complicated steps. 😱😱😱😅 It's colorful with lots of interest, yet simple, beautiful, and serene.
I've always pronounced it like "air-rid." Awesome build though! Now I feel bad for my girl Nessie for having such a lame tank, even though I upgraded it a few month ago.
This is soooo lovely! A lot of other videos make the build look so complicated but I love the way you did yours. That tail wag was so cute. My leo saw herself in a magnified mirror near my bed when I had her out and the tail wag was strooong until I blocked her view haha! I'm thinking of switching to the deep heat projector and slate like leopard gecko talks but I'm concerned with the height of the tank being too low.
Omg I absolutely ADORE this enclosure. Your enclosures are so inspiring and creative! I’m getting a bearded dragon in 2 months and I’m trying to be creative 😊
Very nice job I love the way you have been making your enclosures more beautiful for your reptiles and giving them more space to live and enjoy life love your videos kiddo always thank you 😉❤💯
This looks so great!! My next upgrade will be my leopard gecko and I’ve just been lost trying to figure out how to do a naturalistic/bioactive for an arrid species. I have a free 40 gallon breeder so I’m excited to get it going. Thank you for the inspiration!
The LG community needs more people using overhead heat and loose substrate like you! Really Amazing work! I loved it, the grasslands essence was definitely captured A Carex grass would be an amazing addition for your cool side and more rocks in the hot side would create an amazing basking area And the emphasis is in the a of arid, not in the i kk
Very cool! We actually just upgraded my girlfriend's leopard gecko enclosure too! She got some bad advice when she got this gecko, and the poor guy had been living in a 10 gallon aquarium for the past year. So I built her a wooden enclosure that I'd estimate is more in the 40-50 gallon range. Did a spray foam background also, and colored it with oxide pigments. Carved out ledges and a cave. It actually looks similar to the style you did, except we didn't embed anything into the foam (other than some scrap wood to give the ledges some internal structure). Wish I'd thought of the pebble idea you did!
Great enclosure upgrade! I was looking at my son’s and am thinking of upgrading it from 20L gallon to something larger. Just curious, what type of lighting system are you using for your plants and heating? Ty again.
Hello I have a question. I just got my gecko today and I was wondering if they should have any light at all. In my room it’s basically pitch black so I have my window open which doesn’t do much at all. Do you think he is okay in my very dark room at night?
You could always provide an incandescent lamp. It provides deep penetrating heat like IR-A and a little bit of IR-B. DHPs are another option but they don’t produce any light and they make more IR-B than A. IR-B isn’t as deep penetrating as IR-A.
I'm looking for getting an African fat-tailed gecko, can you possibly do a video about them and how to take care of them? it would be a life-saver! I also currently have a leopard gecko. Kiwi is adorable by the way!
The overhead heat if done correctly will heat up the ground similar to how the sun heats the ground. Most people put a dark colored rock or tile under the heat source because that will absorb heat just like in the wild.
Belly heat is a myth spread by rack mass breeders to excuse their terrible husbandry. Leopard geckos, as all ectotherm animals, get their energy from the sun. The sun heats the LG and all the environment. If you want to know more about this mechanism, research for IR-A, IR-B and IR-C and their spreadness on the planet and the reptiles body penetration. The heating device that better simulates the sun in a closed enclosure are halogen lamps, followed by carbon filament lamps (DHP). heat mats only heat through conduction, which is the worst heat transfer mechanism when low thermal conductivity elements are involved (a body).
Most people put it in the middle but I keep mines on the warm side and they love it but I do have to mist it daily because it dries out. I just thought who wants to be cold and wet.
You should of let the foam expand enough so that it could be moulded to fit all the crevices better and that way you wouldn't have to spend time cutting it
Hey I hope I’m not a bother but I just wanted to know if uvb lamp is a necessity for a leopard gecko because there’s a lot of people not using one but then others say it is and just wanna know if it is because I’m planning on getting one.
Looks amazing and your leo seems to agree! How anyone would suggest they don't care about climbing is beyond me. Have to redo mine bc the poor lil bugger also loves climbing walls and I for now left them plain wooden which looks nice but doesn't serve the purpose for him 😛 would pronounce it like air personally but quite often there are two ways of intonation 😉 also it's spelled voilà, cute effort though...

Very heartwarming to watch him explore his new world. I love the way you love and respect your animal friends. Beautiful new upgrade.
It’s pronounced air-rid 😭 We got you gurl 💞

You are a genius, and an artist. Well done. I may well try this for my gekko.
From an Englishman who lives in Scotland.

I have a question I'm greeting a Crested gecko how small is a 6month odl crestie
I LOVE this build
Can you do a video about leopard gecko diet and supplements?
Awesome new set up 😁
Although it might be a little hard for a leo to climb those branches. But he will definitely be climbing those walks lol
He’s made his way all the way up! He is such a good climber. I’m always impressed
he is soo cute

I’m just using a heat bulb for this enclosure. There plants are all fake in this one 😅
Sorry if I didn't hear it in the video but what are the dimensions of this enclosure?
New video and I'm here... 😍😍Always and forever reptilian garden
Naim Kaori thank you so much!!! I hope you have the best day today 😘💕✨
@@reptiliangarden 😍😍🙏
Where do you get your sticks and cork rounds?
Do you have any recommended leopard Gecko breeders?
Beautiful job 👏
What lights do you use for your leopard gecko? Do you still use a heat pad as well? If so, what temp is your heat pad set too?
I just use a heat bulb at the moment! I may add a heat pad during winter if it’s needed.
Reptilian Garden do you mind if I ask which one exactly?
AIR-RID ✨

Question why do you supply heat from above ? I though heat pad is adequate enough since they require belly heat?
The overhead heat if done correctly will heat up the ground similar to how the sun heats the ground. Most people put a dark colored rock or tile under the heat source because that will absorb heat just like in the wild.
Lisa M thank you makes complete sense

How much would you be willing to pay for a ball python? Please tell me
Also what are the long lighter colored sticks
It’s driftwood I found at the beach!
I say it as it is spelt... arid not a-rid..if you get what I mean lol
wait doesn't the humid hide have to be warm that way the gecko doesn't get a respiratory infection? why did you put it on the cool side?
I haven’t heard that. If that’s the case, I’ll move his humid hide to the other cave where it’s warmer just to be safe.
Most people put it in the middle but I keep mines on the warm side and they love it but I do have to mist it daily because it dries out. I just thought who wants to be cold and wet.
