Trust Amy Hennig to restore some of my faith in the immediate future of gaming. It feels like she has been on the front lines of not only making the kind of games I want to play, but fighting for them as well, for literal decades. I am curious about the size of 1943. Hennig has previously championed shorter games and aiming to have more players roll credits, which I generally love. But it feels like there's a big ol' game here. Very happy it's been dated for next year, and can't wait to see more. Oh, and no surprise, but it looks like Khary Payton makes an excellent Black Panther.
Abubakar Salim is such a fantastic actor! I would love for him to play T'challa in live-action or the upcoming Black Panther solo game by Cliffhanger Studio. His work as Bayek is severely underrated!
Very interested in Amy's direction on a melee character but i have to give applause for making it a single player experience making it an intimate play

That Calisto Protocol game looks pretty cool. Hope they pull it off. I did enjoy the universe they setup, had even listened to the podcast play they made in it.

I think a fair way for Ai to be used in voicing NPCs, and I say this as someone who's not a voice actor, would be for a voice actor to be brought in by the studio to voice dozens (or hundreds) of lines for the character as they're used to do, be compenated for that, and then give permission to the studio to let an Ai use their voice to generate extra lines. The actor would also be compensated for granting that permission and that permission would only be valid for the making of that one video game. If the studio wishes to use the actor's voice once again for another video game or an expansion or whatever, they would be required to get the actor's permission once again and compensate them for it. And thus we get characters that virtually never run out of dialogue lines and feel more alive, and the actor gets the compensation they feel they deserve without worrying about being exploited without their permission in the future
Bro… you guys really needed to do a better job of putting the name of the game on your video that you’re showing to the audience, especially when the titles are a little bit less unknown. Tales of Kazar, I think. It looked cool, but I had to keep rewinding it to catch the one time you name the game. Is it the service to the developers and your audience.
They literally said that. What we did see, the gltarget graphics, art style and story all seem good so far, but they said like 10 times we'll need to see gameplay to really know if it is good.
