Glad to see a serious explanation of the techniques we'll be using to finish the outer hull. Still looking forward to seeing what's being done about the cockpit and the glass sections in the final build product.
I'd say the mysterious red rectangles described at the end of the video were applied with a rubber stamp. That would cover the more intense red outline if ink concentrated at the edge of the stamp. That would have been quicker than special ordering dry transfers, cheaper too!
Might be cool to incorporate a David Letterman glass breaking sound effect into the videos when Steve tosses the index cards onto the table. ;) Very good videos BTW. Learned a lot.
+Jim Giraffe just do a search on google, there's plenty of model shop's in the uk selling Tamiya AS20, including amazon and eBay, although I wouldn't pay eBay prices.
I couldn't find the reference photos. The video says they are at model-space.com/us/build-millennium-falcon.html but the photos don't seem to be there. Anyone found them?
+Tim Roberts I checked the link they provided as well. It's just not there that I can see. Not sure why they put up this link when it's just the product information page. Uploading the reference and putting a link there should have been something quick and easy. Not sure what to make of it not being there.
+will s It's very strange, and not good for customers as I am sure that many want the reference photos. Steve has mentioned these photos in all 3 of his videos, including the 3rd part as well, and it still has the URL that definitely does NOT have those photos. Please Steve get the De Agostini computer guru to put the photos online for us.
dont buy a cone???... why ?? the piece of shit we receive this week is not like the original... FALSE publicity .- And deago is taking the piss charging us £8.99 .-

Where are the reference photos? Couldn't find any on the deagostini website.
I'm just starting the model in the U.S. and the reference photos are no longer there. Where can I get them?
