Saramonic SmartMic UC Mini Audio Test with the DJI Action 2 - Is It a Viable Vlogging Setup?

Just purchased the Saramonic SmartMic UC Mini to compliment my DJI Action 2 as I am looking for a portable solution to take with me on my travels. In this video, I did an audio test of the Saramonic SmartMic UC Mini plugged into the DJI Action 2 via the USB-C port. This is a very straight forward solution for me as I do not require any adapter to make this setup work.
Also with the Saramonic SmartMic UC Mini, I am hoping this allows me to capture audio of certain action such as the sound from a frying plan during a cook or even at a night market. Hoping this would ramp up the audio quality from just using my DJI Action 2 on its own which I use very often.

Thanks for the compliment my friend. Sadly since this is a small device, it may not be the best option. Perhaps look for bigger shotgun mics for that specific purpose.

Hi Unu... unfortunately after much tests with my Action 2 and Action 3, the mic doesn't handle wind well. You can see from my latest video as I tested it out walking on the streets of Penang.

@Unu din Moldova I just purchased the Deity D4 Mini so I am going to try that out but it does add more to the whole setup. If I can get away with it without windy condition, I'll just use the Action 3 on-board mic.
