The wireless mic setup really seems like the way to go i love that you can see the mic mount on the x360 cameras putting it under your shirt is like extra wind protection.
Thanks for a very useful review! Based on this video, I have decided to go for saramonic smart mic mini. Can you tell me which dead cat you got for it, as the package I’m ordering only comes with a foam cover. Thank you 🙏
All the listings Ive seen for the Saramonic SmartMic Mini UC seems to think it only includes a foam windscreen. Did you have to buy the deadbeat for it?
Nice job Larry, did you play with the gain on the camera with an of the mics? I was wondering if it was worth bumping up the gain on the Saramonic. Thx
LOL.,.,that one mic dead cat is so big that’s completely blocked the whole camera. I like the mini, it’s small and simple that you can turn the angle. The sound quality is acceptable. Another great testing video Larry. I kinda like the Dji Action 2 but it only has 32gb internal storage and it’s expensive too.
Legendary, thanks for the help, and great camerawork. I think I'll go Smart mic mini UC, that seems to be the consensus. All this camera stuff is so hard to figure out 😅
Yes there is a lot of gear out there people have options for days it can be a little confusing and somewhat overwhelming. Thanks for watching and I'm glad my video was somewhat helpful. And thanks for the compliment about the camera work I appreciate that more than you know.
Hey great video!! I wanna know were do you got the deadcut for The saramonic mini because I can’t find it in Amazon. Also I’d like to know if there is a lot of difference of using The saramonic instead of the built in mic of The action 2. Thanks!!
I had some troubles with the Rode USB C Mic, after 1min on 4k, the sound fades. It seems it gets hot and then can't manage. Do you have any experiences with this?
Awesome comparison brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. I was in Lamont's live last night saying hello but guess you didn't see me.
@@TodayIFeelLikehey Larry, I bought the Saramonic UC mini for my action 2 thanks to this video but I find that the sound clips all the time. Have you found a way to lower the mic gain ?
Nice review I'm a little late to watch to day but I like blink 500 pro thank for sharing with us all 👍 Been on dialysis all day filling not to good but God is good thanks Larry
Man I didn't know you were going through dialysis. Man I hope you are feeling better and I hope you get the treatment you need so you won't need dialysis forever.
@@TodayIFeelLike To quote Rode - "In addition to its standard analog 3.5mm TRS output, the Wireless GO II features a digital audio output via the receiver’s USB-C port (which is also used for charging). This allows it to be plugged into any tablet or smartphone (or computer) over USB, without the need for adaptors or other audio interfaces." Also check out the other YT videos on this subject.
@@TodayIFeelLike hey yea it might a quality control issue but originally when I first got the action 2 and rode usb type c I was leaving comments on all the videos and others were experiencing the same issue. Works great with a pixel usb c to mic and the wireless go. But with this specific Mike it won’t work
Saramonic Mini I have the 3.5 plug version when I was a GoPro user. It was an easy sale for me Thank you
What do you think is the best external microphone to use with my dji action 2 to record the exhaust sound while riding?

Thanks I appreciate that. And thank you for watching.
Thanks for making this vid, I'm currently still using the DJI action 2 and was looking for something that would cross over lol
Thanks for watching I appreciate it and for taking the time to leave a cool comment. Big ups and I hope you subscribe.

The one that I bought came with it.
Thank you, exactly what i want to know about the action 2. I have a saramonic usb-c already, lets hope it works with my camera.
Glad I could help thanks for watching and if you haven't already please subscribe.
Nice job Larry, did you play with the gain on the camera with an of the mics? I was wondering if it was worth bumping up the gain on the Saramonic. Thx
These are all straight out of the camera on default settings so yeah it would be worth it to bump up the gain on the Saramonic. Good catch.
@@TodayIFeelLike I was so surprised DJI added that feature.
Me too but pleasantly surprised.

That dead cat was halarius 😂😂😂
You can add a memory card. I do wish it had a 64GB or 128GB version available.

I got the dead cat from Saramonic and yes there is a considerable difference between the built in mic and the Saramonic.

I haven't had that trouble but try reaching out to Rode they are very responsive.

Man I'm sorry I actually look for so I don't miss you and can shout you out but I somehow missed you but I'll try and get you next time.
Love the color correction here, how did you achieve it ?
I just made some simple adjustments in Final Cut Pro
Thanks for watching

@@reinoldg It is a pretty hot mic but you can go into the mic settings of the camera and lower the gain levels.
Peace!!! Great video, actually it define what I was looking for, and I think will be the RimoMic!! Ty

Great mic comparison, have a great weekend.
Thank you and have a great weekend too.
Dude you had me dying with the second mic 🤣😂
Hahaha 😂
Great Job Bud!
Thank you I appreciate you
Others say you just connect the Rode Go II using a normal USB-C > USB-C cable - sounds easy to me.
The Wireless Go 2 doesn't have a USB C connection for audio.

The last one was the best. This video is actualy one of your fummy videos with the dead cat on the mic 😁😁😁😄😄😂😂😂

No problem
The ride usb C doesn’t work, it has static problems every 30 seconds or so
Did you double check the connection
