Honestly if you look at the development team of the first pe... It's the square dream team. Then it gets a random dev team. Hence the drop in quality and addition of weird elements. If the same team or even just kitase and nobua are back on the project it will be an absolute success. Imagine seeing mellisa transform in today's graphics... Or having a mutant alligator materialise from melted flesh before your eyes... take my damn money!
Yeah i like havoc in NY with aliens and mitochondria, this time a metorite fell to earth and bring an extraterrestial mitochondria that mutates as faster as Aya's and new power arrises and creepy mutation with orchestral and electronic music fused together. And a whole new set of mean machine guns and weapons, i want to see drones too :P
The fact that it has the number 3 in the title is clear that it serves as the third installment for a title that SquareEnix did not own the rights for at the time. Also, Parasite Eve 2 is was also intended to be a spinoff as well
If another Parasite Eve game ever gets released, it will be a dream come true for me. I would literally go and kiss the developers’ feet for doing that. This franchise is just too good to die.
In addition, go check out the plosive attack remix by Lily arcienega... It's incredible and makes my imagination see a very terrifying boss fight. The same feeling I got when watching that alligator materialise while the music picks up. *shudders*

The Parasite Eve series is an odd one, first a book in 1995, then a movie in 1997, an RPG game in 1998, a survival horror game in 1999 and an action game in 2010 which isnt related to the plot of the prior series. I really loved the first two games, I wish they would make a proper sequel again
I truly hope that this "parasite eve 4" is a sequel from "parasite eve 2", because if it s gona be, i have got a history s version of how this game could be: 10 years would have passed since the ending of "parasite eve 2", Aya would be finally about to marry with Kyle Madingan, that would now work at the police, as making sure that goverment would not find him, Aya would still work at M.I.S.T., that now would be under Rupert s leadership, and still having the same powers that she had at the previous game, and Eve Brea would now have 16 years old and she would be a problematic teenager, being a delinquent, being on drugs and sometimes having problems with the police. But she would still be a good person and having as best friend the most popular, yet nice and solidary, girl at school, Elianor Carson, that had some problems on her homelife, like the fact her mother died in a car accident 2 years ago, and her dad married with a woman thar in secret tortured the poor young girl, and for more that she tried to warn her father, he did not believed in her.

Third birthday wasn't canon to the parasite eve franchise. I beleieve SE never owned rights to PE. THe Author wouldn't let them continue to use it. Some legal issues. They only used Aya to get some people interested in a game for sales purposes..
The 3rd birthday was, in my watch, something like Dino Crisis 3: Ran completely out of the theme. We were dealing with Biological stuff at PE 1 and 2; them came the 3rd BD and fucking up it all with time stuff.
Marcos Roberto we think this is caused by a change in copyrights of the saga. Parasite eve born as novel by hideaki sena, then squaresoft bought its copyright and developed PE1, 2. After second chapter, square enix lost/gave copyrights which return to hideaki and kadokawa. We think, because of it, square cannot put mitochondria issues, parasite powers and cannot talk about previous chapters events. the petition, that will born very soon, aims to reobtain everything that makes a real parasite eve!
i would love to see PE1 Re-Mastered. i want to forget PE2 and 3rd BD ever happened. 2 had toooo much back tracking, and 3 had nothing to do with Eve, it would have been so cool if they got Eve back cause some other person had a different body part(Eve had Aya's sister liver, Aya had one eye), when i found out there was a 2 thats what i was thinking they were going to do. with the power the PS4 and XBox 1 have they could have it where Aya has to hunt down Eve all over the USA/World with the final showdown in Aya's hometown where Eve's main body is buried.

I'm all for a sequel to P.E.2, but if your implying that the 3rd birthday is canon; that is absurd its a terrible handheld game. Therefore the Sequel to P.E.2 will have to be called P.E.3, I do not support P.E.4 but a true sequel to P.E.2 titled P.E.3 is a worthy sequel I'd support

Been 5 years man. I don't think this'll work anymore. The 3rd Birthday didn't really sell that much copies so i don't think they will make a parasite eve 4. Because im pretty sure everyone knows this, that the company only wants money and not the plot of storyline.
One of my absolute favorite games for the Playstation. Would be amazing to see a remake (even if it's just remastered like Secret of Mana) - I would die if it came to PC.

The only problem is SquareEnix no longer has the rights to the Parasite Eve name but they only own the rights to the characters. If they make a remake, there can’t be any references to the name or the events to the actual novel.
Would be great, but Square lost the rights to Parasite Eve (but not the characters). That's why we ended up with 3rd birthday, a game with characters by the name of the characters in a plot that has no relation to the previous games.

Internal fighting on gaming concept, limited time constraint and putting the game on a psp made sure the game was a failure from the start. The devs are the ones that fucked the future of PE, they wanted to draw in a larger crowd of gamers, they managed to create a game that doesn't appeal to the public nor fans.
No no no! The 3rd Birthday wasn't a horrible game, it was a wonderful creation also it was just a different mechanism comparing with the 1st and 2nd part! The only reason why a lot of PE fan did not like this part it's because it become a ,,war-adventure,, type and you just went to kill the enemies pick up ammos not like in 1st 2nd part where you found healing items, weapons, ammos, and there was plenty of logical task you had to sort out.....yeah at some point I can understand them, but personally I like the 3rd Birthday cos of the game has been through on lot of improvements like graphic engine, the DNA energy settings, the powerful guns like SHIN27 shotgun, launcher weapons or gatling gun or the Blaze Edge special weapon and most importantly the 3rd Birthday was the only installment where the characters were: ,,SPEAKING CONTINUOUSLY,, with proper voice not like the PE1-2 which was a MUTE-SPEAKING GAME!
Yeah, that's called a new game not an extension of the previous. Anytime a developer does this they are going to upset fans. If you change what we loved about a game what's the point? Otherwise make a new game!

How could a software house create a beautiful reboot but not a wonderful sequel? Ok, reboot would uses a story wrote already but 1 this can be modifided in a wrong way 2 gameplay can be modifided in a wrong way 3 what happen after reboot is created? It cannot create a sequel as you said, so fans must say goodbye to this saga? I think Square Enix has got skills to create a beautiful reboot so it can develop a worthy sequel too, of course this is my honest opinion, and I respect yours.

The first game was better than the second via it's entirely different combat gameplay. Similar to Vagrant Story.

I'm all for a sequel to P.E.2, but if your implying that the 3rd birthday is canon; that is absurd its a terrible handheld game. Therefore the Sequel to P.E.2 will have to be called P.E.3, I do not support P.E.4 but a true sequel to P.E.2 titled P.E.3 is a worthy sequel I'd support

Been 5 years man. I don't think this'll work anymore. The 3rd Birthday didn't really sell that much copies so i don't think they will make a parasite eve 4. Because im pretty sure everyone knows this, that the company only wants money and not the plot of storyline.

The only problem is SquareEnix no longer has the rights to the Parasite Eve name but they only own the rights to the characters. If they make a remake, there can’t be any references to the name or the events to the actual novel.

Would be great, but Square lost the rights to Parasite Eve (but not the characters). That's why we ended up with 3rd birthday, a game with characters by the name of the characters in a plot that has no relation to the previous games.

Internal fighting on gaming concept, limited time constraint and putting the game on a psp made sure the game was a failure from the start. The devs are the ones that fucked the future of PE, they wanted to draw in a larger crowd of gamers, they managed to create a game that doesn't appeal to the public nor fans.

No no no! The 3rd Birthday wasn't a horrible game, it was a wonderful creation also it was just a different mechanism comparing with the 1st and 2nd part! The only reason why a lot of PE fan did not like this part it's because it become a ,,war-adventure,, type and you just went to kill the enemies pick up ammos not like in 1st 2nd part where you found healing items, weapons, ammos, and there was plenty of logical task you had to sort out.....yeah at some point I can understand them, but personally I like the 3rd Birthday cos of the game has been through on lot of improvements like graphic engine, the DNA energy settings, the powerful guns like SHIN27 shotgun, launcher weapons or gatling gun or the Blaze Edge special weapon and most importantly the 3rd Birthday was the only installment where the characters were: ,,SPEAKING CONTINUOUSLY,, with proper voice not like the PE1-2 which was a MUTE-SPEAKING GAME!
Yeah, that's called a new game not an extension of the previous. Anytime a developer does this they are going to upset fans. If you change what we loved about a game what's the point? Otherwise make a new game!

I would personally expect better of a girl, even as young as Eve was, who had been raised by Aya fucking Brea! Bayonetta can be as stripperiffic as she wants, she's a new character, a new franchise for a new audience. _Then_ we can finally talk about the mechanics, wibby-wobbly timey-wimey Assassin's Creed rehash. Jimmy Scionti It's a strange thought. If we want to be coherent so we must admit if Square Enix cannot develop a worthy sequel, so it cannot also develop a worthy reboot. How could a software house create a beautiful reboot but not a wonderful sequel? Ok, reboot would uses a story wrote already but 1 this can be modifided in a wrong way 2 gameplay can be modifided in a wrong way 3 what happen after reboot is created? It cannot create a sequel as you said, so fans must say goodbye to this saga?
I think Square Enix has got skills to create a beautiful reboot so it can develop a worthy sequel too, of course this is my honest opinion, and I respect yours.

nah they will ruin this game.. they gonna add some TRASH DUBSTEP MUSIC EDM CRAP. and take out the horror and the suspense out of it and make it into a action game all the way thru.. no clues no keys to find to open doors etc.. PASS..

Honestly if you look at the development team of the first pe... It's the square dream team. Then it gets a random dev team. Hence the drop in quality and addition of weird elements. If the same team or even just kitase and nobua are back on the project it will be an absolute success. Imagine seeing mellisa transform in today's graphics... Or having a mutant alligator materialise from melted flesh before your eyes... take my damn money!
