I can’t believe this. I am crying as I write this. This is almost my journey. I did my PhD in Oxford - and all the very sites and locations and everything about it brought be right back to it all. What a magical magical experience. I was lucky enough to stay on as a Lecturer at the University for over a decade. And actually at St Peter’s college, where the author was based also. I’m still there and teaching and I feel grateful every single day. Such beauty in it all. Thank you!

Something like this is more like what I thought movies & movie making was when I was younger. If I had much of a notion about the makings of movie & TV at all, it was that there was realism, respect, deep thought and consideration for the subject matter behind the scenes. (Don't ask me why I expected that, based on what I saw in front of my eyes in the productions themselves - I guess I simply didn't understand what I was looking at. Pop art in recent decades has been a big letdown.) But I look forward to more serious yet joyous wide-ranging human and ('biblical-influenced') explorations along these lines. I'm waiting for the Wycliffe, James Tour, Stephen C Meyer or Ludwig von Mises 'slightly romanticized' stories. Or maybe an intellectually deep series by Institute for Creation Research (ICR) - a world-spanning archaeological documentary about the Great Flood evidences. So many ideas, where will they end? Bibles and Cities on mars? I wonder what Lewis would say, since he despised science fiction. But much of it will either prove or disprove itself factually in actual history.
I was very creeped out by CS Lewis' subtext and how it was directed at children. This movie seems to run with that theme. I otherwise like the logline but that crosses a line for me.

As a believer who was pursued by the "Hound of Heaven," I've waited nearly 55 years for a high-quality film/story like this one.
