    You have to apply pressure to the cylinder to make it move when you turn the screw. This goes for making it retract and extend.

      I tried using a prybar to no avail. Is there a chance that the screw could be stripped out? I also appreciate the feedback!

      @@taylorwhedon9486 It is a possibility that the screw it stripped. Have you verified that the piston is not seized to the cylinder walls? This can happen if the brake fluid is not changed as recommended. Water is absorbed by the brake fluid and then sinks to the lowest point in the system which is where this is. The water can cause the piston to fuse to the cylinder walls. I had a 416 where this happened.

      @@cerealkillergmailcom So I just recently replaced the adjuster screw and the seals around the piston itself. Since that point it has stopped working

      Got it. Turns out the adjuster screw was gummed up and wouldn't return to it's normal position. I took it all apart and I am cleaning all of the pieces and replacing all of the seals.
