- The Waste Management Open could be in jeopardy after the weekend antics from golf fans! What I have witnessed here on the leaked footage from fans doesn't belong at ANY sporting event, never mind a golf event!
Top players such as Zach Johnson, Jordan Spieth, and other major golfers weigh in on the terrible behavior of fans at the Waste Management Open in Phoenix. Jay Monahan has indicated he may have to cancel the event. Has the huge party atmosphere on the 16th hole that we've all come to love just gone too far now?

*Come on let’s here your thoughts 💭*
Yes it’s way out of order.
Could you not just show the actual clips?
I’ve been saying American golfers are the most hideous of creatures for years, it’s crazy how British golfers are either complicit or even aspirational toward it. It’s ridiculous now hearing the golfing RUclips community pretending this isn’t an exact outcome from any number of indicators that it could go this way.
*Hear* your thoughts my dude
I can't wait for the PGA to get all that Saudi cash to buy more kegs...
Waste Management organisers have brought it on themselves. Once they allowed spectators to throw beer glasses all over the 16th causing huge delays and damage with no punishment they had lost control. This sort of behavior was inevitable at some point.
WM is thinking ,
$15 - 20 a beer ?
Throw throw throw.
Money rules all except the liars.
Been to a major college or NFL game recently? How about the Malice at the Palace? Its not WM, it’s just the people. Look at airline incidents over the last few years. People are just losing it.
so they lost control in the 90s
The PGA and the Golf Channel has promoted this behavior for years. They are getting just what they asked for.
You are exactly on point!
Waste Management certainly are doing their bit for 'growing the game'.....filling it full of weeds and vermin.....
An obvious exaggeration of what they are ‘promoting’.
@@Matasky2010 Then you haven’t watched the coverage over the last few years.
I went to the Waste management open in Arizona in 2024. It was awful. Took an hour and a half to get dropped off and walk in, there were droves of people funneling in. People were throwing empty beer cans into the lawns of the apartments by the event. We stayed in the actual event for 1.5 hours before leaving. The bathrooms were just outhouses filled with stool and no toilet paper with 30min wait lines. $11.0 for a hard seltzer. Thank God I got the tickets for free, the crowd was massive and the worst event I've been to. They blamed the "mud" from the rain buy really, the crowd was just the largest they've ever had and they didn't have a way to control the massive crowd.
To be honest, you are buying hard seltzers... does your opinion really matter.
Stay home and watch it on TV...
Peoples quest for Fame has become the down fall of humanity
Tik tok and youtube prove that.
smart phones and the Internet specifically but you're right. It used to be if you acted out a few friends or family witnessed it, now the most outrageous behavior imaginable ends up on screens for everyone to see.
Wow... That says it all. So true.
The name itself speaks for itself..."Waste Management Open" 😂
What an embarrassment
Went to a rowdy party and golf broke out.
Roadhouse golf.
I'm sorry, but I'm stealing this one and claim it as my own...it's F••KING awesome.
Alcohol doesn’t cause stupid things to happen, it causes stupid people to do stupid things
That's a load of trying to sound clever nonsense. Too much booze can make anyone do stupid things.
Smart people do stupid shit while drunk 🤡
Been to NFL games, MLB, College football, Ryder cups, golf tournaments. All have trended up with this sort of behavior. I’ve witnessed all sorts of things. Excessive alcohol consumption adds fuel to the fire. Respect is lacking. Solution? Not sure. If something more serious happens liabilities on those in charge are potentially substantial.
I’m 20 last year when I was 19 went to a handful of nhl whl and cfl games live in Canada obviously😂 cheering and drinking is a normal part of sports always has been that’s what makes it fun. Weird part is I always have issues with old drunk guys who are I assume miserable while most people end high-fiving us and having more fun. Now this particular event was a shit show but that’s why they only do it once a year😂 I agree this was outa control but you old guys need to stop sucking the fun out of sporting events there is a reason college sports are the most fun to go to it’s because of the young drunk guys cheering.
I agree with you Alex. Top rated players will just refuse to go to this event and if that is the case, the tournament will become watered down and unattractive. Don't get me wrong, I love the 16th and I think it is great for fans and players, but outside of the 16th there needs to be some control.
Players will play here if it's a 20 mil event bro
I grew up in Phoenix/Scottsdale the WM has always been this way tiger refused to play the waste management in the 2000s

Their drunk. That's how drunks are. They will start fighting as time goes on.
Maybe, the WM should put up chicken wire in front of the stands, like there was in front of the band in both "The Blues Brothers" and "Roadhouse." The fans at the 16th definitely reminded me of the bar patrons in "Roadhouse."
It’s just a reflection of how US society is trending everywhere. Sports events, airplanes, restaurants, driving, etc. People have lost respect for anyone else and maximum attention and drama is now a goal. If you end up in a fight on RUclips that’s a win now. It’s a mess

Golf is being hijacked from non golfers as a way to party. Golf is a gentlemans game and should be repsected whether playing or watching
Well said
Well times are a changing my friend and I do not disagree with your statement but the PGA is pushing to get as many involved into golfing by companies who sale the equipment and extras. Its being sold as a fun time to be out playing, walking, drinking, listening to GPS Bluetooth radios in your golf cart with your buddies. Courses find other ways to make more dollars by having scrambles, off season events, party packages which include sale of adult beverages in their monogrammed coolers...Its not the snobby rich man's game any longer and the marketing of it by the PGA related businesses are creating the atmosphere.
I watched more of the LIV tournament for two reasons. First was I watched on my phone with the app and two was it seems like the players are having more fun! The team seems to add something!
You like teams? Go and choose every other sport my dude. Golf is meant to be an individual sport. LIV golf without the money is tragically dull and out of place.
@@znartjYou can watch it engaged in or ignoring the team Golf. What you are guaranteed is no withdrawals from players who can’t be bothered.
I love the team aspect of LIV golf
Team aspect in LIV is the GameChanger!
Who wouldn’t have fun if you were guaranteed a six figure check for playing like a dog?
Imagine it being used as a Ryder Cup venue!
This outing is in Las Vegas, and remember that their tourist slogan is, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" so partying and generalized buffoonery is tacitly encouraged. The WM seems to be one continuous party over several days and nights with some golf being played between concerts and drinks, sunrise and sunset, as if golf is simply a party accoutrement rather than the raison d'etre. And, the 16th hole and its surrounding stands with drunken and ill-mannered crowds brings to my mind the Roman Colosseum where the crowds in a multi level venue were probably equally rowdy 2 millennia ago. There, the crowds cheered Christians being fed to the lions; the WM simply has taken this to a modern level of boorishness, only minus the blood and death. (And, if this trend here continues, maybe instead of fisticuffs, the ad hoc combatants can be given swords and shields with the crowd signaling thumbs up or thumbs down.) Additionally, I suggest that golfers follow the example set by Dick Butkus and Mike Curtis when a rowdy drunk ran onto an American football field during games many years ago: Both Butkus and Curtis leveled the offending idiot with a forearm to the chops and then let the police take out the trash.
I'm not being a killjoy as people need to enjoy golf, but this over the top boorish behavior has got to go away. I would expect that radical surgery be performed on the organization of this tournament or that it be terminated. Just my $0.02.
I get what your saying and agree that the behavior of some fans weren't good...some stuff don't belong anywhere and that is a reflection on the individuals. But just to get back on one of your remarks, namely that some players may not want to play that tournament again. Golfers should realize that they get to be who they are and earn what they are because there are fans. If not for fans watching and following, sponsors won't see value in being involved (sponsoring and advertising) in golf...and they would all be amateurs playing for the love of the game while working a 9 to 5 job...just saying
imagine if this happens in a LIV event
This has been going on for years.
It does all the time..music going and drinking all the time shit show
There are more people lining the 10th fairway than at an entire weekend at a LIV event! LIV is a joke. Or 90% of DP world tour events. There was 40,000 on 18 alone.
@@ryanrichardson9915 You are only comparing the WM event, which is crazy with people ( I am saying that because I'll bet most aren't even diehard golf fans), The number of fans drops off considerably at other PGA events, like John Deere Open, Genesis doesn't even have a huge crowd, I went to Harbourtown, SC and that event did not have large crowds ( most there because some company paid for a tent) and of course you need to take out a mortgage to go to the Masters, while I still enjoy the PGA, it will need to do something to keep the money rolling in or these players, like John Rahm are going for the BIG dollars and can you blame them where they can play get paid and wear shorts, LOL.
@@ryanrichardson9915 No, this event is a joke but not a funny one.
Well, they almost got the name of the tournament correct. Because in terms of fans who show up...Waste. If I was a professional golfer, there is no way I'd 'waste' my time with this tournament.
Many of the things Alex was complaining about were what I admired about the WM.
What he doesn’t mention is how not having a plan for bad weather put a lot of people who were acting rationally in danger as well.
There was a ton of areas sober (enough) people were taking some very awkward falls …over and over again.
People were getting too crowded, which we have seen in Korea how dangerous that can be.
A person on social media was showing what appeared to be people pushing through ticketing and security.
A woman was reported to fall out of 16, luckily no major damage there.
Im not sure how accurate all that is but im using a similar soccer analogy today. As watching social media reports it truly reminded me of entrances at crazy soccer games back in the 80s and 90s; when crowds would storm in. And then obviously act crazy once inside.
At LIv meanwhile the party was restrained. Tickets were sold out because that’s what they feel they can handle for now. The commissioner constantly present.
The US open may have gone too far on restraint this summer but all the majors as LIv show restraint on attendance for a reason.
IMO this event can continue to grow. But it needs very competent leadership. IMO this party comes with great responsibility.
As usual this leadership left the players to try and control things. Which only made them all look even more like shooters and Karens.
When buying tickets for the event, either online or in person, the person should be required to purchase drink tickets. Maybe a maximum of 5 or so for the entire day. You want a beer? Hand over a drink ticket. This would severely limit the number of inebriated spectators.
Great summary and insight bro
@@ronteach4650 Are you being real right now? You need to get out of the house more often.
Oh. And alcohol had nothing to do with this shit show… Thunderbirds… TV… WM… ruined this event.. along with millennials who don’t know how to drink.. are rude.. disrespectful … pathetic
@@Wwg1wga48everyone involved is pushing the envelope here which is why the head honcho (the Commissioner) needs to show his handle.
This is 'an accident' waiting to happen....just overcrowded/infested with 'event fans' who have no interest in the sport. Carries on like this and both top golfers and true golf fans will stay away. If any of these have already made that decision for next year, they should make it known to the tournament management.
I’m so glad to hear a golfer’s perspective on this topic. I’ve watched a few other videos of people say well football teams have fans yelling all the time, or basketball teams have fans trying to distract them during free throws. But those sports aren’t golf. Then those same people say Billy Horschel is in the wrong for saying “stop talking when he’s hitting a shot this is our job”
The tournament organizers need to do a better job of monitoring alcohol sales and the number of people that are on the course. They also have to do a better job at keeping the spectators quiet during play. It’s one thing for players to hear the crowd going crazy from the other holes, but it’s not okay to talk and yell when a guy is in front of you hitting a shot
Even the NHL has a fan code of conduct that must be followed. Failure to abide by the code of conduct will result in ejection from the venue and/or prohibition from future games/events. There has to be a fan code of conduct plain and simple. Break it, you're on your way to the gate!!
Alex, hind sight is always 20/20. But you are right on target. The atmosphere is more like "Happy Gilmore". I love the stadium concept for the view and closeness to the players, but for their safety alone, there should be measures in place to prevent fans from running through a sand trap or pissing in public. Just my take. Love the channel!
I find it hilarious that the PGAT Karens call out the party behavior at LIV and then look at this xD. A whole other level lmao
Can you say, "hypocrisy?" 🤣🤣🤣
@@Diogenes-ty9yy PGAT people are hypocrites in almost every arguing point they present when talking about LIV
People behaved like they were attending a party not a golf event and I'm sure if there wasn't as much alcohol then people wouldn't have started fighting and peeing everywhere. I feel bad for the players. It would be like that feeling when you're the only sober and sensible one in a group and just hating it because everyone is making such a fool of themselves. Only worse...
We went to WM ( PHX Open) every year in the 90’s and early 2000’s. It was fun but still polite and entertaining. When it turned into a party with a golf tournament most of the real golf fans either went to watch on Thursdays or stayed home. The crowd on Saturday & Sunday are just there to party , the more outrageous the better the chance to get on national television.
Right. We would usually go on Thursday. Friday and Saturday are the worst days.
Great stuff Alex. Who cares about coming across like a prude at this point? Alcohol sales at this tournament has to be dialed back big time. I don't know what the specifics would be for that change, but less alcohol would certainly mean better behavior. End of debate.
You don't dial back alcohol sales, you just fine and kick ppl out for inappropriate behavior
How bout people like you just stay far far away from WM
Many of these lunatics will get tanked up beforehand, so stricter controls on alcohol sales may not have any effect.
I worked security at 16 for five full days. First, the picture that you showed with cans etc on green, did not happen. That was an old picture. Was there a lot of drinking, sure, but I did not see anything out of control inside 16. The crowd was fairly well behaved. As far as heckling, that happens at every tournament and guys like Jordan and Billy are always complaining about something. Zach though, I think he was frustrated and let some steam off. He is usually very polite. The crowd at the WM is younger, in general and anytime you mix alchohol and goofs you get issues. Guy sliding in the mud, was not a big deal. When did that happen? During rain delay? Guy who jumped in bunker had most of his clothes on. During long break between rounds. They caught him and he was dealt with. This isn’t something you see in just golf. Super Bowl last night? I have worked the WM for five years, is it perfect, no. But, they are cleaning things up. There are much stricter rules on 16. It’s getting better. A lot of what you have discussed is out of context!
And that is just your personal opinion. What you obviously consider normal, most would consider disrespectful, childish and out of control. It seems that if you were actually working security that you failed miserably at your job.
it proves the old adage.... never drink alcohol on an empty head. shocking for golf.
Did golf used to be known as a gentleman’s game? Will the Masters be the last bastion of civility in sport?
The sport has changed. All golf cares about is money. It keeps poor folks out. Remember these shinnanigens are done by people who can afford the not only get into the tournament, but get drunk at a tournament. Now-a-days even on the best courses all you hear are F-bombs, and dirty jokes. It didnt used to be that way, and i only been playing 18 years. As a single sometime its hard to get paired up because now people only wanna play with people they know. Many proshop staff have become arogant. Carts will be blasting music.
The days of a peaceful round of golf with courteous people are gone.
Remember most of those people at the WM event came from other parts of the country. It aint just AZ people.
The slippery slope here is gambling in golf, especially the now available betting on individual shots or holes, i.e. which player in a group wins a hole. Bet on one player, then heckle and distract the other two while they are trying to play. I dont know the answer, just saying.
Gary Player once said golf is for the amateurs not the professionals. How right. When people behave like this it sets a bad example to all at large. I would not take my child to such an event. I watch golf to be entertained by special talents. Yes a bit of well structured fun is great for fans and for the game. Maybe remove those stands so you don't have masses in one confined space.
I love the 16th hole. I think it would be neat if more tournaments had something similar. It would certainly produce ratings and ticket sales. Hey, I kept going back and forth between the final round and the Super Bowl. I knew it was a party atmosphere, but didn’t realize there was so much debauchery taking place. I don’t agree with that. It should be a fun, enjoyable, safe atmosphere for all ages. They can do things to limit alcohol sales and then simply kick people out if they are deemed disorderly or detrimental to the tournament.
I have a different idea for producing ratings and ticket sales: how about an MMA octagon cage match next to the 16th green with LIV's Brooks Koepka against the Golf Channel's primary douche nozzle Brandel Chamblee? It might not last too long but it would be wonderfully entertaining. 🤣
It’s ONE tournament a year, I think the golfers need to fucking relax. It’s good for the game.
As someone who was there this is an over dramatized version of the events. The scene was electric and unbelievable. This is nothing but hype.
So you were at every location and witnessed every aspect of the tournament? Are those videos made up? Enjoying yourself is fine but common sense and mutual respect obviously did not happen with all spectators. If you don't mind a drunk relieving himself in the view of your wife or daughter that is your choice, but most people would not approve of that.
If you go to any event where there is close to a half a million people, there are ALWAYS going to be scenes like this. But, they're isolated instances in the grand scheme of it.
The event has never been embarrassed of itself. The idea to mudrake it now after all this time is just pathetic. You either go or don't go, but it's not up to you, Alex or anyone else to pass judgement.
Golf used to be a holdout in the transformation of sports into a Roman Coliseum situation, no longer. Thanks Waste Management!
I know this is a golf tournament, but how many times does Good Good “imply” one of its members is off to the side of a hole peeing in the bushes.
I don't watch Good Good, I've hit puberty. Like many things today, the challenge is to take it to the next level and test how far you can go. Will they capture a fart with a mic...maybe they could take the cameras to the outhouse and film someone taking a dump and talk about it for a few holes. There must be an audience for it but you can count me out. Performance Art does not belong on the golf course.
The tournament probably made money. And I hope they provided lots of toilets for these drunks. Detroit tournament had no toilets on the back nine last year(peed my pants coming off eighteen).
This tournament and the 16th hole in particular has been heading towards this sort of carnage for years. I think a lot of factors as you have laid out in the video conspired to make things so bad this year. Unfortunately it can be just as bad here. I have been to many Opens over the years but the amount of people at St Andrews for the 150th Open who were simply there to get drunk and who were not interested in watching any golf whilst openly urinating into the gorse bushes was disgusting. And they do this whilst thinking nobody can see them 🤦♂️
change the 16th hole to a legitimate 19th hole (not included in regulation play) and herd all the Yahoos to that area. Players can opt in or out if they choose to even play it for the party-goers/tossers. This would give the players an option to bypass the situation (like an after party). May be breathalyzer testing before entry, since loads come there half-hammered prior to buying alcohol and would only skirt the limiting of purchases by having someone else purchase for them.
Golf needs out of the box tournaments like this to appeal to the younger crowd otherwise it will die a slow painful death. Only problem is there is always a couple of knuckle draggers that ruin it for the majority. Sounds like the knuckle draggers were out in force at Scottsdale.
Flashback to partying at "the Pavilion" in the early 90s at the Byron Nelson tournament in Dallas (actually Las Colinas) particularly on the Friday of the tourney. Through the late 90s around about the time Tiger Woods came on the scene they did clean it up a bit, but for a few years it was known as "THE" party of the year, where many of the people knew or cared *zero* about golf.
Yes. Grew up in Dallas and the pavilion was an absolute madhouse. People would watch a hole or two and then go black out
He said wee
For higher competition prize money & elite player competition - hope the new LIV & PGA agreements allows the PGA to continue with these type of traditions - so the PGA continues as a USA regional tour - where LIV uses the PGA as a feeder tour to LIV. When does Rory become relevant by winning another Major and taking a LIV offer out of these kind of events?😀
You don’t see this crap at a LIV GOLF event.
Waste Management Phoenix Open lightweights.
“Im going to be honest with you Im really quite Frank” Got stuck here. Had to look up what the hell this meant. Doesnt seem like English anywhere.
The players have the control. Since this isn't a signature event, the top players don't have to attend. The top 50 can send a notice to the tournament board asking for change or they won't play. It becomes a high level Corn Ferry event.
A couple of friends were on a box on the 16th hole. And most people there were not there for golf. They were there for marketing and when I went down to walk around, it was worse. Alot of girls were just there so they can film their social media pictures and videos, and alot of guys were just there to party. It was a total shit show. Not good for golf.
This reminds me of a Premier league darts event.
I can imagine quite a few players will skip this event next year.
LOL - I predicted this years ago. The PGA deserve it for not stamping down on the behaviour years ago. The Masters shows how to stop this sort of behaviour - before it even starts.
It's odd that the tournament states that they stopped letting fans get in because of overcrowding but there's conflicting footage that shows the gates were opened up to anyone (ticket or no ticket) at one point on one of the days. In that new clip from a local news station, you could see hundred of people just walking through the gates without anyone checking tickets - it was an absolute free for all.

It’s a disgrace of a tournament. Disgusting behaviour and needs stamped out and removed from the tour schedule.
Was there on Saturday for 2024 and 2023. Didn’t see anything too extreme. Some drunk people yeah, but nothing different from any other sporting event. Traveled the entire course. Everyone was quiet and respectful when players hit their shots. This was only a few bad actors and media overblowing things as usual
Im from PHX Scottsdale area. You mist be new because the Waste Management has always been this way and will nver change lol I also work in that area, i saw so many people throwing up on the side of the road. They definitely go a bit crazy but thats what the waste management has always been
Golf needs a tournament like this BUT,they should calm down on the alcohol sells. Don't stop alcohol sales altogether, just start sales later in the day and stop selling earlier each day
😂 Explaining “sale of alcohol regulations at a sporting event” to Americans! Hahahahahaha!!!!
Yeah, folks got wild lol. They need to just be decent and not yell at the players while in a playing position. Folks just seem to have used this as a reason to drink more than they needed. Not sure how to control the fans other than raise the price on drinks to a stupid point
I think it two prong problem that the PGA has to really look at what LIV is doing with this. The reason we didn't get a lot of people before now is that our sport looked as a stuck rich man's game that doesn't want the common man to be there. LIV fan base is like that every week but they have done things to control the atmosphere proactively before it's turns to Woodstock 99. The whole reason the PGA tour was in this civil war to begin with is because it refuses to evolve. The figured they cracked the code in 1975 and no one is going to make them change. The have to find a way like LIV to encourage these people to be there but also have the facilities to ensure chaos doesn't ensue. As for the players, I'm sorry you not gonna be in the same atmosphere as Jack Nickalas but every sport has found a way to me more inclusive and produce a better product and if these people want any purse for their talent in 5 years they should be thinking about it too.
"just look at this video" - it's all pixels
An After party instead? set the rules 5 drink tickets only just like corporate xmas parties😅😂
This is all from the Tiger Woods effect. Golf became a NASCAR event when he came on the scene back in the 90's. I had attended the Masters both before Tiger, and after. Totally different experience in a really disgusting way. It's not his fault per se, but he saw it happen too. Heckling almost ALL of the other players whether they were in contention or not.
Really good to see with them blurred out btw lol
Thanks for talking over the videos
Alex gotta take your word for all this…. The fight looked like a patchy chess board and so was the toilet break too! Joking aside, the organisers must take an urgent review and act, no one wants to see this loutish behaviour anywhere. But it has been encouraged so you reap what you sow! Just hope it never spreads to our UK golf tournaments
Reminds me of European soccer games!😂
Trying to channel LIV style energy. The LIV style of scoring is infuriating some people. 😅 golf is going through some growing pains.
No one is talking about the concert after the tournament that attracts younger fans.
The PGA tour players need to distance themselves from this tournament. It has become increasingly difficult for them play golf at this event. What a shame that they could take the stadium 16th hole and turn it into a course wide fiasco! The organizers have to do a better job of policing the course and crowd and confine the stadium atmosphere to just the 16th hole! Just my honest opinion.
Watching other people having fun can look terrible but if you were there you would be having just as much fun as they are.
Shut it down. It's not hard to figure out.
I've seen plenty of comments that most of the course smelled rancid. And it wasn't just beer smell.
Its waste not being managed?
I think enforcing a proper dress code would help. The guy in the AC DC shirt and jeans? He's there to party and isn't a golf fan. The Masters enforces "Appropriate golf attire/shoes should be worn at all times" for fans.
This was lightweight compared to tailgating at a Raiders game.
LIV has to be laughing. They have music, shorts and shot gun start! They have none of this LOL
I was there 2 days. All the rowdyness is on 16. The other holes are fine. It literally is all on or around the grandstand on 16.
I wasn’t there Saturday so i guess i may have missed it on the other holes.
At 16 they expect it and it's always rowdy. This year there was too much going on around the entire course. There are so many people that have never even played golf that go to the WM open to party.
Were you only on the 16th? It was not fine. 12 was a shit show, 14 green and 15 tee was a shit show. The whole corridor from 16 to the gate was a cluster fuck.
16 was not as bad as people say. Yes it was loud and crazy but generally under control.
@tanishaviland4290 BS
As an American this is very embarrassing that other Americans are making a mockery of the game and I think something should be done. I am far from a golf snob but this is just terrible behavior
Its fine to have fun but when things get out of control its time to look at trimming crowds and stopping the drinking.
I agree with what you are saying but the horse is all ready out of the barn. When you put 20 or 30 thousand people in very close quarters and fuel them full of alcohol you are going to get idiots and collateral damages. The professional golfers know what is going to happen so yelling at the drunk fans will only make it worse. You either let it go on as it is and deal with the occasional fights and damages or you just stop that whole show.
Thanks LIV golf...
Billy Ho said on NLU that was just one moment of many he had with unruly fans
5:28 there's a dude wearing nice white jeans, black shirt, black jacket, white shoes pushing himself into the fracas on that muddy slope. I'd give those spectacularly white, white jeans about 30 secs or less, before they get slid in that muddy slop. Amazing what water, dirt, and alcohol can do🤣
Much improved background Alex
They let loose thousands of frat boys... and crossed their fingers hoping nothing bad would happen..
I wish I could speak freely and give you the real answer, but I can’t. Not on here at least. But I am convinced that it has crossed your mind
The majority I bet were not golfer type people but party people.
This is NOT what golf needs try to use a little more cerebral matter when you comment.
Yes thats a little over the top. The no talking during the swing rule of etiquette needs to hold fast. While the event has it’s connotations and a degree of expectation here, with players knowing what they’re getting into, it’s still golf and not a frat party. Fans need to display a degree of decorum if not civility, and should be escorted off the grounds for flagrant disregard for the players, other fans, or themselves. If this event was in my own back yard I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking my kids to see it, and thats a sad state.
This tournament needs a meeting.
