Certainly one of the 70’s biggest anthems. Great film quality & sound of this iconic group playing live in Australia. So much of what they did for TV specials etc was just lip syncing to their studio versions… but this captures them completely live and at their best.

This was great music back in 1977. I was in the United States Marine Corps, and every Marine was crazy about the ABBA Girls.

Most music categories has some amazing performers and songs. We should all try to enjoy some outside of our normal categories. If your taste is narrow, you have not been looking much... :)

ABBA voyage is the same, they don’t allow phones and it was brilliant, like going back in time where life was better without phones you just enjoyed the music and the moment 😊

Love how this was enjoyed by all, kids, adults and grandparents. ABBA brought everyone together.

My WW2 WIA shell shocked dad became cool to me when I was 18, by buying this album, for himself at age 53. While I was dancing at the disco to song he was in his home office & listing w/headphones & the kick butt Pioneer stereo system of my older brother’s who was in the army~Germany. Way to Go Daddy~OooO!!! 🎉♥️🎉
This was the year I graduated from college, and yes we danced to this. What is amazing is that the ABBA men who wrote the songs were married to the lovely ABBA singers. Compare the positivity of this song to today’s dismaying rap “music”.

It’s the little kids and all the young people in the front row that just brings tears everytime I see this video!! I’m 80 years old and this truly represents the fantastic music of that period! This song will never die and will always be respected as some of the best dancing music ever produced! Taylor is good but not like this!!!

When ABBA came out I was in the USAF and those two ladies were gorgeous. Great vocals and harmonies, not to mention looks to kill. What a great group..

What can I say?Over half a century,we still love their music,ABBA,they are too good to be true,and will be remembered forever,as well as the Beatles,Fleetwood Mac ,Rolling Stones etc.that’s what I think anyway,so lucky to have been able to enjoy all those wonderful music in my life (so far)

Wow so happy to find this video from 1977 and it is a live performance and they sound just as good as the recorded version ; real singing no autotune or lip syncing , . I was in High School and I loved them right from the start back in 1972 when they released Waterloo when I was in 6th grade and they remained so unique and ahead of the times all through their career
Sounds good live. You can tell this is not the studio version and are really singing. Im impressed!!
As a young lad back in the day, i took this great band for granted even though I loved them. Today after listening to the lyrics of all their songs, this band was amazing and deserve to be as they are, a phenomena!!
ABBA is so fantastic, they will be remembered 100 years from now, and will keep putting smiles on peoples faces and joy and happiness in their hearts.
i wasnt quite old enough to live the ABBA hysteria..my older cousins had the posters and the t shirts and i vaguely recall them on Countdown, but i never got it at the time.. now, 40+ years later, with a much maturer and rounded musical taste i finally get 'it'. Oh boy were they good...so many bangers and the vocals sublime...
The power of Abba. And, disagree with me if you will, what they (and Jim Steinman) got, was the power of big chords. Listen to this track, and how much it is defined by the piano part. It sounds easy to write simple pop songs, but it is insanely difficult to to it this well.
Abba's songs are incredibly complicated compositions. They really were masters of their craft.
