Thank you for not using a robot voice to do this. This narrator was human and was able to put the proper human inflection into each sentence. I curse all robot voiced books.
True... until you've heard a human who doesn't know where to pause, how to pronounce things, etc etc. Suddenly the automaton seems all fuzzy and warm - a veritable nanny lap for reading.
This book opened up the spiritual dimensions of my being to exploration. It kickstarted my life long Journey of spirituality. I am grateful to Ouspensky and especially Gurdjieff who was my inner teacher, for this great teaching.
This book changed my life as a teen. Thank you for posting, it's time I review and reevaluate the accumulated experiences and the results of my convictions.

To understand “The Miraculous” Gurdjieff explains the necessity of a group and a teacher who knows the way. Reading tells a story; however, to integrate the story one must learn how to be, that is, how to read and listen from within. Growth does not begin with forcing our will but learning how to let go of ego-personality so that we can allow our essence to awaken. Mastering oneself ‘G’ emphasizes is the key and learning how to “Master Oneself” is the adventure. For more info… wayofspinoza.com

Reading a story to Ouspensky about one of G’s pupils (Ouspensky) , a man without any literary experience (Ouspensky), (Ouspensky finds out later this was G’s idea about a fictitious character (= Ouspensky’s “I”?).) G asked Ouspensky if he thought they could publish this manuscript to equate the public about these ideas (Ouspensky said no, but little does he know he published it? 😂) ..... I’ve listened to this a few times, entirely missing all of this until now 🤯.... To all involved with making and sharing this, your work is appreciated. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Hi.. I am so happy to come across to this page and find you... It helps me a lot to understand especially when listen to these ideas over and over again. Thanks to you Michael Garland for this opportunity... And pl tell me when it will be ch. 9,14 is ready to listen?
Hi Roy,Debbie indicated she hoped in time to do readings of chapters 9 and 14 The material in those chapters are mostly centred around illustrations and diagrams and as such are not so effectual as an audio format. Until such time either Debbie or A N Other produce these ,the book is the only real option.
What is a fact, after reading and living this book. Traveling along the cosmic consciousness. One will have a control over ones own spirt. An outer body experience that will give them an understanding of life. In that life is the very thing we call time. There is no time, but life and space. A tree grows, not by time but in space. It is not controlled by time. And neither is man controlled by time, time is an illusion.
Hi Ray, You may have seen some other readings of material I have gathered on my channel.Beond this 2 thoughts. 1.Anthony Blake does some excellent readings Of Beelzebubs tales, also other 4th way related audio materials --> anthonyblake.co.uk/Publications.pdf 2. You could try searching for pdf`s online of books etc and converting these to MP3 by using text to audio programs of which many are available free online. These are a touch cold and robotic and not the same as human readings but can be a help. In time you may create audio matrial worthwhile and share/upload any useful results for others who may benefit. Beyond that your efforts seeking are worthwhile and help invariably turns up. Best for your Workings Ray.
Just started reading the book so I'm not very far into it, but so far it resembles the writings of Carlos Castaneda and I am wondering if Castaneda was influenced by Ouspensky's work?
Castaneda was influenced by his teacher Don Juan and if you have read all 10 of his books you will see that any similarity to Ouspensky is skin deep. Castaneda went so much further than anyone else ... If you disagree give me some names.
Here is an undisputable fact. You are going to die. If that fact makes you feel uncomfortable. Then I highly recommend that you read. Making sense of nonsense by Raymond Moody. Here is another until now undisclosed fact. You will not experience your own death. We can only understand death through the loss of others. When we truly lose something in this way. We can finally appreciate its true value. For me, we are already dead. So I see the true value of each and every one of you. Love and wisdom to you and your families. RW

Free will is developed through personal growth.
