      Rohan Satish absolutely our education system was made by british during industrial revolution who want us to work on those factories without being creative but sadly we haven't changed since that.

    • @tejasvabansal74
      @tejasvabansal74 7 лет назад +7

      Rohan Satish really our Indian Education system is really dumb nothing is good in it, it is just nothing you just can't make life theoritical today world is practical and what our education system is teaching to be theoritical in life, education system should teach us how to make our living but what is is doing nothing

    I'm 18 and I totally agree to your point. I'm doing my 12th grade and preparing for entrance. I do not know how it would be like to become a software engineer. I'm very much interested in tech. So I chose to learn software. But I don't like the concept of learning Physics, Chemistry etc. Its true we need the base in every subject, but in 12th grade science stream CBSE, I feel we are going too deep, that I wouldn't be using them in life again. And the fact is that the marks in all these subjects are also taken into account for entering a institute. And earning on my own is gonna take a decade to complete the conventional studies for engineering and to get a job. And I can see lots of engineers int the society, who have taken engineering and working in banks. I feel the need of narrowing down the learning to job oriented paths at an age of 15 or 16, so that the youth can stop depending on their parents for every needs. I'm not earning a penny, but is spending nearly 100k every year. I really do feel ashamed. I would also like to know if there are any online work or ways to earn a little bit while continuing my studies. I really did thought about starting a RUclips channel, but its considered waste of time and I may even loose the internet access that I'm receiving if I start doing so. Should learning be given the most priority in life? I would like to know your opinions.
    Please leave a like below if you agree to the point, so that he would see the post and will be giving a reply.
    And can anyone tell how it would be like a software engineer...
    And thanks for reading !!!

      @hotlemonade6643 7 лет назад

      +Sonu Simon Don't think like that you won't be needing X X in life, because the more knowledge you have the more you're ahead of people and don't cuss about any knowledge you get instead learn to appreciate it because you may not need it now but you will need it later.

    • @jayjohnx
      @jayjohnx 7 лет назад +2

      Sonu Simon agree with you. there are many of my friends who took commerce as their stream during graduation and now they are software engineees, as they took a 3 year GNIIT course while doing their graduation. On the other side there are a few of my friends who took Engineering and spent 5 or 6yrs becoz of ATKT's to complete their graduation and then went for Bank jobs.
      What i suggest to you is, if you are weak in maths and physics right now, mostly you will end up regretting doing engineering, since the maths in engineering is of a whole new level and you cant ignore it in the first year of engineering at all, no matter what engineering stream you take.
      So my opinion would be, take up a basic graduation course like B.com or even better Bsc.IT and additionally go for a professional training course in any one development language like Java,PHP,Oracle, and try to be the best in any one language.
      And if you want to pursue higher studies..meaning post-grad, do it only after 2 or 3 years of work experience.
      In my opinion don't go for Post Graduation at all. Directly get a job after graduation.
      By the way am a Postgraduate in I.T who took a long time to realise all this

      u like tech stuff that doesn't mean u can be software engineer....
      Get to know about programming language, and if u are good at it then u can be a software engineer..
      I did the same mistake
      I like tech stuff but im not good at programming... Hope this helps you

    Thank you sir, for the fantastic advice. I am pursuing CA and for my article-ship, I joined a mediocre firm with much interest. but when I see my friends who are working in Big fours I regret my decision 2 out 100 times. this video made my regret to 0. I also now realise working in a big company will affect decision-making capability. I hope all the Indian parents take this advice for raising their child. This video is not weekly talks but this weeks motivation.

    Ranjit ji, as son as i got 18 infect before i was 18 i always had thoughts that let me make some money of my capabilities and try to take care of my expenses. I started off in a call center while i took admission into engineering & today i am a network engineer.
    Although i belong to a financially sound family but you know, when you buy something for the home, when you buy something to your parents, when you are able to run the family expenses of your own, that's a priceless feeling.

    To come before RUclips, where millions of people can watch you, and breach a topic like this requires monumental courage. I laud you from my heart, Geekyranjit !!
    Very pertinent advice is given here. Starting to earn money at a very early age not only gives you a headstart, but also teaches you the value of money and earning it.
    I am a typical example of school-college-campus recruitment-job guy. Years down the road in life, now I realise that I've missed the lesson given in this video.
    I desperately want to start a business of my own, but always doubt my abilities. I wish, every day, that I should've started earlier. Precisely what Geekyranjit told us here.
    Thanks again, Geekyranjit !!

    I love these occassional inspirational videos. And since they are occasional and different from what you generally do, it has a good and deep content, not all those repeative inspirational content you find on the internet.

    Geekyranji your advise is absolutely correct this overly protecting their children actually makes them so irresponsible... i am an East Asian foreigner living here in India and i have seen a lot of spoiling of children here... there is great power of being self sufficient and being responsible... i hope parents here would give their children responsibilities.
