ANKOR is hands down the most creative, technical band I have ever listened to and I am approaching 58 years old. This band has captured me, every single song they have done has just amazed me. I like to say that they have created their own genre because of the way they mix all other genres together. The emotion they play with is next level and David my god the videos. Every member of this band are so amazing, Fito the grinder that has the most emotional screams and can rap like a chad, David, his acoustical guitar is simply amazing, and his voice is simply amazing as well, they guy has pipes, then there is Eleni this woman is about 90lbs wet and she plays with power that is arguably one of the most powerful if not the most powerful drummer today. I compare her to the power I get from John Bonham and well he was the all time master of power on the drums. Then Julio, to play bass at the speeds he does with the pure precision that he has is next level. Last but, not least Jessie! My lord this is Fire and Ice singer her voice is simply to me the most captivating. I used to put CL on pedestal but, I feel Jessie is 100% right there with her if not even a bit better. I feel that this will be the favorite band that I will take to the grave (im old and It took 52 years for my to replace my last favorite artist). That said in todays world there all of this is like splitting hairs because there is so many really, really great artists now days............but for me ANKOR it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great reaction as always Tauri, Ankor is a killer band. I'm particularly glad they picked up Eleni Nota as their drummer. She is a SUPER tight player, which is a key ingredient for Ankor's complex music. (fun fact - Eleni and the drummer for Crypta, Luana Dematto (also a killer drummer), have both rotated through the thrash-metal band Nervosa! Small world...!)
one of my favourite bands right now. Just in love with the artistry, they are certainly one of the most creative metal bands out there. Their last two albums were great already, but those new songs are just on a completely different level. Can't wait for a full album.
I found them several months and have liked everything I have heard. This is no exception. Top notch

I agree wholeheartedly with your reaction Tauri. Ankor is something else! Each time I relisten to their songs, i discover something new. It is fantastic and their work just gets better and better. It's indescribable...im lost for words.......❤

The music is completely different and original but you know what it reminds me of? Pain Remains. They're nothing at all like Lorna Shore...except they have that same high level vision of what they want to do with their music. And in their own way, they're every bit as great, and I hope they get the same level of recognition because they deserve it! Great reaction!

Great reaction! I really like this band quite a bit. I was a bit baffled that they released these vid in a backwards order. It will probably make sense when the next one is released.
Hi Tauri! Starting off well with those whispers that float between the headphones. First break and already surprising you! The drum sequence is great in a crescendo! And how she manages, without apparent strength, to change the vocals from light to rustic! Sensational! I heard an “Uhhh” that I love about you!! The last scene, I couldn't understand if he was shot! Because blood on her face and he falls! Last scene remember “Pieta” where Mary puts Jesus on her lap, when he comes down from the Cross! Subliminal message?! We will see! And yes Tauri they have a similar rhythm to the boys from Electric Cowboy! It's great to go back to the videos to follow the sequence and learn a little more about the band!
