Why was that line a bit predictable? I think I've watched a ton of movies and I knew right when he said "it's not a call", I kinda guessed the next line would be "it's a warning"..
(Not saying I'm gifted for figuring out movie dialogues before they're spoken)

Here's what I love about this movie...
"Fear is a tool, when that light hits the sky, it's not just a call it's a warning." That is his motto throughout the whole movie. Then when the one kid who he sympathized with the most was the FIRST one to reach for his hand at the end of the movie. Then the sun rose, and now he is the light. Which is cool because now he will learn how to separate the two personalities. He can be the billionaire playboy and then pull out the "broodiness" when he only needs to. Not just all the time. He'll upgrade to the cape, and will learn actual Martial Arts instead of fighting RAW (which was pretty fricken sweet too).
“Vengeance won’t change the past. Mine… or anyone else’s. I have to become more.”
That ending monologue with Something In The Way playing a 2nd time… I got chills in the theater
I so hope you’re right about him learning martial arts! It seems evident that he was not trained in martial arts in the movie; but of course, he is still tough and kicks a lot of butt

@@CancelHappiness oh yes i agree overall for sure. I think batman begins had the best fighting out of the three nolan movies. His knowledge of martial arts was evident to me in that movie
@@aspiringlegend9514 for me, I don't think there's one memorable fight scene in TDK trilogy outside of Bane in the sewer. My favorite batman fight is actually the warehouse scene from BVS. But I absolutely loved the action in the Batman as well
The Batman did something I never thought a movie would ever do. It made me rewatch a 3 hour film 2 times and I still have a feeling that I'll see it again. That's insane. As someone who has watched Once upon a time in Hollywood, The Irishman, Wolf of Wallstreet and even Endgame. I never felt like I wanted to rewatch those movies again

I’ve seen this film three times, bought all the Lego, my room is filled with ‘The Batman’ posters, I wear ‘The Batman’ T-shirts at every opportunity, and the soundtrack plays on repeat in my house and car!! I’m 33 years old and this film has turned me into an obsessive teenager again!!
A brilliant film any true batman fan would love this movie, its the detective batman what more could you want i bet the sequel will double its box office.

@@doc8013 Except its definitely going to happen much sooner than later. Theaters all across America have already shut down. The trend will continue and that will be that. People will be viewing said blockbusters at home before you know it.

Nothing can compare to the visual and audio quality and for those people who understand the importance of these factors the cinema will always be the place to go to watch the biggest and best films

The vast majority of both audiences and critics absolutely loved this film because it was actually true to the character unlike the plot-hole ridden garbage that was the dark knight trilogy. While batman had great entrances in other movies,the keaton era,bale era,affleck one with the cops in that building,none of them compares to this one.the way bruce narrates everything,the music,the atmosphere,those heavy foot steps,the fight scene....just cant beat that! 🦇

Peter Saarsgard with arguably the best small role/ major character performance of the last ten years. Seen this joint 6 times in IMAX. The greatest interpretation of Batman ever put on screen. Probably the best movie I have ever seen. The first 30 min of this movie already won Best Picture.

This movie absolutely shattered my expectations. Heavy Batman the Animated Series and Arkham influence but also a hefty dose of its own vision and style. Absolutely my favorite Batman movie. Saw it 5 times in theaters 🤣
