This AI video is exactly like I experience dreams while sleeping. Characters and scenery constantly changing appearence in a sneaky fluid way. Its when I take notice of it that I usually wake up.
This apparently is how most people experience dreams. So they’re speculating how generative AI works could be similar to primitive forms of consciousness.
i hate it when i am dreaming about making out with a hot chick, and then her face changes or her body changes or shrinks down to barbie doll size or she suddenly is no longer there at all...all kinds of weird stuff.

@@thegheymerz6353 it's only been around two years since this AI stuff started snowballing and it seems to be taking noticeable steps every handful of months. Honestly this wouldn't be that bad if it would just stop glitching out. Like tell the AI that people have the same heads for their entire lives and horses don't even have human heads.
This is kind of like my dreams, where things are constantly changing slightly, but stay coherent and similar enough to make sense unless I notice something weird and start lucid dreaming.
I bet you money this will be an actual feature for videogames in the next decade or so. Game publishers will use AI generation layering in order to completely skip out on doing serious texture work
I hope this aids the development budget to invest more in gameplay mechanics and quality assurance, maybe give the developers a bit more of creative freedom due to less time sinking into graphical tasks or even a renaissance of the experimental era back in ps1 and early ps2 days, but my pessimistic ass suspects it's just going to bring unemployment to a bunch of corporate game devs
@@Blue_nip Eventually, oh absolutely. Its already been proven that an AI can run Doom through generation. Its only a matter of time before opensource AI mixed with powerful PC computers leads to creation and sharing of AI generated games

I'm really looking forwards to the day we can do this in real time to very old games like Ultima Underworld, Tomb Raider 1, Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, etc. Skyrim (with mods) still looks good enough to not need something like this.
It's not running in real time, unfortunately. It's just multiple AI images spliced together. Also, some of those people have too many extra arms and fingers.
