I do hope you like the New Edition to this series - I put many Hours into the Battle Specs of each Marker, Anything i can change or add, feel free to let me know. :)
Both on their own way... First on your comment
Ohuhu is way better.
For a suggestion can you draw iron fist for the next cheep vs expensive video .
For the next video could you do Shang-Chi
The Copic still had bad color separation
The cheap definitley look better to me. I dont mwke much money and was on the fenfe about getting ohuhu and i think this settlef it for me. For your next cheap vs expensive could you draw shang chi? I think you'd draw him really well!
I dont even care who wins I just love to see him draw
Edit: Okay guys I get it its true for everyone Ive been getting the same replies every day since the video was uploaded please stop

It's not about your markers, it's about your SKILL 100%
Well, markers do play a role when it comes to things like being able to blend colors
Been pining over Copics my entire artsy life, and Ohuhu has come in and honestly given me the quality, practice, and control that I would expect from Copics based on use for a fraction of the price. I would still love to have a collection of Copics someday, but that price tag really sells Ohuhu for me with such similar quality! Thank you for the video, always enjoy these!
Get pro markers.. screw copic
@@danaparsonsliquidcosmosart2669 They're on my someday list as well!
@@itsadomino well worth it.. I started my collection with the 12 packs.. the lay down is beautiful.. no colour seperation like copic
You should make a Copic vs cheap challenge but get jazza to tell you what marker drew what side
Personally I don’t think they are that similar. The brush nibs are very different, which can be good or bad depending on the artist. I draw a lot of hair so I prefer a really flexible brush nib, so Ohuhus aren’t really my to go. But I do enjoy them. And Copics are overpriced.
The fact that I'm the only one that realizes that he never finished the $100 side, look under the top claw.
Nice catch
@@liggerstuxin1 thanks
How did he not see it? HE FREAKING ZOOMED IN ON IT!!
@@jonathancampbell5224 Hahaha 😄
I saw that too... It was KILLING me, so I had to come to the comments to see if anyone else caught that.
I laughed harder at "They're kind of pointless" than I probably should have.
Ayo same my dide
My dude **
It was pretty easy to tell them apart at the end. I love the gold from ohuhu markers, all the yellows work so well together on that side
Why is no one talking about the spot he missed on the right shoulder? 😭😭
(Absolutely love the drawing anyway!)
I was thinking the same thing
He didn't miss a spot, that shoulder is highlighted yellow, catching the yellow of the pincers.
It doesn’t look like the Ohuhu shoulder is highlighted yellow. Unless it is very light. Oh no I hope this doesn’t turn into the ‘blue/black vs gold/white’ dress thing.
@@michellem3992 Lol. Maybe if ADC spots the comment he can settle it :P
Edit: Actually, I just looked back at drawing, and realised I was looking at the wrong part of the shoulder. I looking at the top of the shoulder, and you are all referring to the section lower down. Sorry, you are all correct, it does look like that bit got missed.
YEAH I SAW THAT 😭😭
The left side has dramatically better saturation, and the blends are smoother.
For four dollars more a little better performance
I don't know if I'd say dramatically, but it's noticable
Besides the price, personal preference would be the ohuhu markers. Not only for the cheapness of the product, but also from how you used them/the saturated colors that show the vibrancy of the artwork and the character
This is an amazing piece and I love your design for spiderman
I love to see him draw too, but I gotta go with the right. There’s a more in-depth color saturation and the shadows look more blended. Example are the inner arms just compare both.
The copic marker shadows look way better
I love Copic Markers ^^

Wish they were cheaper tho😔😭
I have 2 copic chiao markers

OHUHU WAY BETTER
Fr
I think there's no better one, depends on what you want for your art tone to be. Copic is soft tone, ohuhu is vibrant.
This is a hard one to pick. I was rooting for the Ohuhu Markers but seeing the results, I could go for either. My wallet would disagree though 😂
In terms of vibrancy, I'd choose the Ohuhu Markers for me.
And yes, the outline mistake also triggered my OCD... you weren't alone
#DucksArePeopleToo
As soon as ADCArtAttack said “This is something everyone artist must have!” My ears perked up with that gorgeous light pad.
*I’LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!*
Copic is definitely better (ohuhu is amazing for the price)
I agree
Copic is only better for this paper. Even then, the ohuhu’s come pretty close. If he is using other paper, the copics won’t be as good
I would never have guessed you struggle to see red. Your artwork is incredible 👏🏼
I've been using the Ohuhus for about 8 months and love them as functional alternatives. My one gripes are that they don't have many desaturated colours in their lineup and the cap colours in no way match the inks so you need to use a swatch card
Check out the Ohuhu pastel pack. It offers a large group of desaturated colours. But even in that pack there are some surprisingly bold colours that would be better suited for the 120 pack. But it does help when you want to build layers. And yes the caps are often very different. And even more so on the pastel set. Look at a review swatch card.
the spiderman drawing looked really amazing both ways
I really hate it when people don't take into account that copic markers are refillable. Copics are expensive when they are initially purchased but the more you use them the cheaper they get.
Where I'm at in the US, a copic marker is $5.50, a refill bottle is $4.50. I can refill a marker 11 to 12 times with the bottle. If you use a marker and the refills the price comes down to 90-83 cents a marker. And you can easily get all of them and the refills individually. Good luck doing that with Ohuhu. I've used both markers, the Copics are far better. If you work with markers all the time it's really not even close. I would only use Ohuhu if you're a beginner or if you seldom work with markers.
If you work with markers all the time you will get to a point where the Ohuhu will cost you more.
To blend Copics: Start light, then do your darks, and finally go back over the dark transitions with the lighter shade a second time. It will blow your mind when you try it.
This is the way blending work I think
That is how you blend just about everything, Copics, water-based paints, oil-based paints even crayons.
Omgshh i completely agree with chisel nibs being pointless 😂💯, and yes ohuhu markers are more worth it if they create refills and expand the shade range further it's game over 🔥🔥🔥
I bought my ohuhu set after watching you color with them, and I have not regretted a single penny. I love these so much. I'm thinking of jumping to a set of Promarkers soon, but I absolutely love my ohuhus
I love Bristol board. I literally have used what your using for years. Light pad, markers, and paper. I never use anything else. Which is probably a weakness lol
I’m not a huge fan of the bleeding on the Ohuhu but that is an artist preference thing. With that price honestly, you can’t beat that. Especially since they are really close to what Copics can do.
I’d like to see a match between Arteza blendable markers against Ohuhu.
Yes!!
I’d love to see it too!
Arteza everblend?
The bleeding is annoying, but once you learn to control the pressure on the marker, you get less bleeding.
@@tembodiaz I use the Ohuhu fine liners with the markers. There is no smearing or bleeding. You just wait for 2 minutes max
I want to see more Bob drawings in your battles. You do a great job and love your work!!
Cheap definitely won. Thank you for these videos they're a great help. P.S. Thanks to you I got the courage to do the left vs right challenge & it was worth doing.
The expensive markers are amazing and the way you colour it is also amazing
I really like the tone of the Ohuhu side more I even bought a set of them because of you and Jazza's marker comparisons of them I just have used colored pencils longer and don't feel as comfortable using markers lol Have you done a paints comparison?
I havent because while I use them, I'm not a professional in them. I dont have enough knowledge to give a detailed opinion.
But I could do an episode based on personal preference

It’s not about the money it’s about the skill
I gotta be honest ADC every time I see these videos always gets me motivated to draw again. Thank you!!!
It’s funny how he considers $100 markers cheap, I’m happy with my $15 staples crayolas lmao
Hey when you do your next 10 style swap video it would be cool to do a storm trooper
upper left arm for Ohuhu... u missed a spot :P great vid. your drawing is amazing!
I 100% agree. The entry point into alcohol markers has significantly lowered over the years and Ohuhu markers are THE BEST choice for newbies. The only downside is they aren't refillable and you can only buy select markers from the Ohuhu website if you run out. Which is why Copics reigns supreme because you can simply buy the markers, buy the refills, and be set for life. Beautiful Iron Spider art btw!
You always inspire me to draw any time i watch you
Ohuhu has amazing customer service too. I've had a couple greys dry out on me and a quick email they will send you that marker for FREE. I'm not professional or even an advanced artist but Ohuhu is killing the game considering the price difference.
Also, ever since Ohuhu released there pastel/light set, they fixed my biggest gripe with them. Awesome color range now :)
No way??? That is AMAZING.
Well, adding that level of surface elevates them even more for me!
they did that for me. My entire set dried out and they replaced them in a day.
@@wigglyworm6645 wow..
Thanks ill try them. See if i like them. I been spending so much on my copic marker's. Awesome 👍😎 vid on toning spidy peace ✌️
Wow! If I were to have skipped to the end and guessed which side was which marker, I wouldn't have been able to guess correctly! To my eyes, only the yellows looked slightly different in pigmentation; the reds and blues, to me, matched almost perfectly! Personally, I'm going to go with a pack of Ohuhu when I finally save up the money to invest in alcohol markers. Someday soon, hopefully. For now, I'll have to stick to my Crayolas. :D
Thanks for another entertaining video. I really liked this drawing. I haven't watched the trailer for the new Spider-man movie yet, and I'm not going to. I want to be surprised when I sit down to watch the movie!
I can totally get on board with not watching the trailer. I wish I had this level of will power lol.
And I agree, the differences are so small that it's really an unusual situation here. Someone's under pricing or over pricing.
Have we compared pro marker vs Ohuhu? Also!! I am so glad i bought Ohuhu to start my marker journey! The giant marker compare by Jazza is the reason I chose the Ohuhu!!
Hey Anthony and everyone! Hope you’re having a good day 🥰
No
I loved what was done to the golden claws with Ohuhu. Is that the material expression or an artist choice you made yourself? Well... Ohuhu wins here, doubtlessly they worked impressively. I really hate bleeding when it comes to markers, but there should be a way to control it better. And I also believe they will be able to improve in that aspect.
I use Copics all the time and absolutely LOVE them (though I've mostly moved on to digital art), they're super good and just feel really nice to use. However, cheaper brands like Ohuhu are also AMAZING markers and I would not discount anyone for using them because they get extremely similar results for a much lower price
Does nobody see the white spot that isn't finished on the right!?!? Still an awesome drawing
As an artist they both performed amazingly, BUT Copics might just be the that price for a reason. I feel that ink control and blending can make or break a piece that is selling for a nice price tag. You can always add more, but as you could see with your mistake you can't always take away/ cover up.
Great video. Thank you! Looking to buy Ohuhu. Any thoughts on water or alcohol versions?
You've been such a good help to me, in traditional art and coloring thank you so much this video and your channels are muchly appreciated here.
I have a difficult time drawing stick figures with a pencil. That being said I can't really see the difference between the two they both look great.
Honestly I think the Ohuhu side looks a little better with its colors and the layers look pretty smooth. I still use cheap markers like Crayola and Cra Z Art myself. I thought there was no way they could compare in any way to alcohol markers, but after working with them for 4 years now I’ve found that with practice and the right technique they work surprisingly well. Adding a watercolor Aquabrush as a blender for water based markers is also crucial, it lets you blend and fade colors really well and even can help you smooth out some streaks if needed. Seriously, give it a try and work with them a little, they work better than you might think
In my opinion, the only thing going for the $4000 one was the high contrast and sharpness of yellow for the claws. Other than that, the cheaper one wins the battle in quality and color.
I like the presentation of the two marker brands, highlighting the pros and cons of each markers.
The drawing looks amazing, by the way.
I really like how vibrant the Ohuhu markers look.
This was a cool treat to see in my notifications. Awesome work, ADC!
Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed the Presentation of the markers :)
@@ADCArtAttack
I do. I think it works to really highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each brand. And to also compare the price of a set or individual marker.
I love your videos! Their very inspiring, although at the end of the day I love how well the vibrancy of the Ohuhu Markers Have.
Drawing was lit dude, absolutely insane, ohuhus definitely feel better but mine don’t have stiff tips, and they are SUPER hard to control, tempted to get a new batch but idk
Mine are very soft too and being felt nibs fray fairly easy, I have a small set of spectrum noir and they feel harder to blend but idk yet
Ohuhu are always getting better and better. Now Ohuhu have 320 colours for the bullet tip version and 216 colours for brush tip. Both of them are priced at £150
In all honesty, I think this one really comes down to your comfort level and personal preferences when it comes to nibs. Some people work better with stiffer nibs and others work better with softer nibs.
I personally think that Copic came out on top in this one in terms of the quality and with how well the colors came together, however ohuhu really can compete for the price point and giving you the biggest bang for your buck.
I also disagree that Copic needs Bristol board in order to perform at this level, as I have always used just regular drawing paper and gotten the exact same results. So, I think it really comes down to *how* you use it rather than *what* you use.
In this case ADC’s style is just better suited towards cheaper markers like ohuhu in my opinion.
I believe that an artist can always make their materials do what they want regardless of quality of said materials. Case and point, ADC’s dinosaur video being a exceptional example of how an experienced artist can make up the difference for inferior quality materials.
I definitely see and value your opinions here.. its totally okay to disagree with me.
I do still stand by my points in the video, but I accept different styles and artists will have other experiences.
the cheaper markers look more vibrant, which makes the iron spider suit that you drew pop out, in a sense ( if that makes sense )
Well, I'm always rooting for the underdog - so definitely Ohuhu. 4000€/$/£/whatever is a hecking hell lot of money - and for that they should definitely outpace every other marker - which they don't. The only gripe I have is that you cannot get your hands on single Ohuhu ones quite as easily....
since ohuhu are alcohol markers too, you can just buy single copics and use them together
@@BusinessWolf1I'm using them along with my store-bought markers right now, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes on the real pastel shades as none of the other brands really seem to offer those. Other than that I'm actually pretty happy with my hodgepodge mix of cheap ones :3
@@LunaBianca1805 hell yeah
@@LunaBianca1805 quick question, what country are you from?

180 dollar markers were the best for Sure👍🏻 great job man😉
I think the biggest problem with Ohuhu is the lack of individual marker purchases. It's fine if you're a hobbyist or the color in need is very similar to others in the pack. But if your a consummate professional receiving commissions on a daily as well as banging out your own marker art it could be a hinderence having to purchase a full set over and over again just to get a 3 or 4 makers that you use on a regular.
Based on the mistake you made with the spider legs, you should get white-out markers so you can re do the coloring in a way where it will not be a big difference between shades and colors
I was inspired to get a decent w&n collection through your reviews and I am in love with them
Very happy to hear, they are amazing! :)
@@ADCArtAttack as a recommendation blending copics with w&n
Ever tried Spectrum Noir Illustrator? I love the ultra soft brush, especially for Kanji
Just looking at the spider talons (claws?) On each side you can see a stark difference in the energy you had towards each set of markers. As someone who has drawn since I was 4, the end of a piece is always the place where you are tempted to take shortcuts.
So to see the realistic looking metallic shading and vibrant shine on them?
You clearly enjoyed the Ohuhu markers more.
If I knew nothing else about the piece that would be enough to sway me.
Copics: overhyped and overpriced.
Which is worth it?
In my opinion,I think it's worth to buy the $180,but for the yellow,I suggest to buy the much more expensive ones, just buy the yellow colour, since it's possible to purchase seperately, just purchase the colour u really need, the yellow colour comparison is so different, tell me if I'm wrong
There are a few spots on the Coptic side that outclass the other by a lot. Specific colors are easier to notice the differences. The blues/ grays in this drawing were great examples.
Coptic was very smooth compared to the other.
Dude did no one realize this on iron spiders shoulders on the left side it’s not supposed to be gold there and on the right side it’s not colored in you can check clearly at 19:08
I regularly use both copic and Ohuhu’s. I love both of them fairly well. I loved how this turned out, I really enjoyed watching the live stream of the sketch and was waiting for this episode to air.
i think you forgot to color to ohuhu side of the shoulder with the yellow on the tip. but it still looks amazing

I’ve actually had the opportunity to use both… I use the ohuhu; it’s more pleasant also because you don’t have to worry about wasting the crazy expensive ink- you can just relax and create because they’re affordable enough to replace
Honestly the cheaper one actually looks better to me it looks more like a comic coloring to me. The price tag doesn’t hurt either lol
I’m actually surprised that I marginally prefer the copics on this one, however in answer to the video title, it is definitely the ohuhu that are worth it.
I mean, I like the Copic side slightly better, just not 12x better (unlike the price).
I love art and I'm probably gonna ask for ohuhu markers because now I see the full potential of ohuhu markers
I kind of feel that if you've invested in an expensive marker like Copics then it's not unreasonable to assume you would be using a nicer paper in order to get the full effect. I would rather have my high quality markers perform outstandingly on a slightly more expensive paper than have them perform really well on a variety of qualities of paper.
Does that make sense? Why splash out on professional level markers with the expectation of being able to use them on cheap paper?
If you want to use markers on colouring books or for more casual art, then you could always get a set of Ohuhus for that purpose and save those pricy ones for your more polished art pieces.
Oh, and I've seen very few people who like or use the Copic marker paper.
Both are good and i can’t see the difference between them 😍🥰
I’ve been waiting for this one! I have all the Ohuhus (bullet nib) and I’ve tried a few Copics but wasn’t impressed with any of them. I’m excited to finally see them really tested side by side.
This is only half true, you get what you paid for but it also depends on the artist themselves. This was just awesome!
There actually is a huge difference. The most expensive side was able to be more detailed due to the type of point on the markers. Looks good!
Hands down the ohuhu have a similar look for the fraction of the price it's not to far off from the copics and also who pays 4000 dollars for markers so I think ohuhu
This is awesome love these vids there very interesting 😀 great job keep up the good work!
But but but... you missed a bit on the shoulder. The yellow bit on Spidermans left (our right)
You missed a gold shoulder I just can’t rate now haha! You are very good my friend

Both where really god but the $100 one is better cuz its not costing alot of money! :)
I love your videos and the miles Morales portrait
Fabulous, you chose Ohuhu. I totaly hate Copic.
Very good video, but you forgot the right shoulder goldplate
The copic marker set that your using only has 72 markers
I Think The Left Side Looks More Better Because I Has The Dark Shades Which Are Needed Are On The Suit And The Ant Type Thing It Has More Iron Shades
As artist, let's face it, money doesn't come easy. Go with the cheapest and use you talent.😉
The Ohuhu gives a lot more of the metalic vibe on your drawing but the bleeding is the problem there but overall both are good depending on the user.
I prefer Ohuhu cause the color is amazing and friendly for beginners
Has anyone mentioned that you missed a bit? On the shoulder under the leg on the Ohuhu side.
On the cheaper markers the blues are WAY colder and yellow/golds are WAY more orange. But for the price I'd gladly take those over the other guys.
The expensive yellow looks green and the cheap yellow looks gold. I like the golden.
I prefer the cheaper one , it has a similar result and much more for the cost benefit with more colors
