Thats a good start 👍 bone content and offal and you would have a complete meal. The bone can be ground if raw bones worry you. Sum liver n kidney n gizzards spleen and that's a complete meal 👍

My dog would look at me like I lost my mind if I gave her that. She is so picky, usually she turns her nose up at anything I put in her bowl, she will eat out of all the cat bowls no problem. I feel so bad she runs and plays all over our 30 acres and I can’t keep weight on her. I’ll give it a shot though.

Make sure you mix up the proteins there different benefits and nutrients in other proteins that your dogs need. So just make sure you giving organs, bone, and etc. so they can get all the vitamins and nutrients they need all around. In addition also so they don’t get used to just eating chicken all the time it’s helps there immune system when you switch proteins so they can fight off disease and infection within.

My 15 year old Llasa and Coton started refusing to eat. What they did eat caused diarrhea and vomiting. As a last resort I tried this recipe. The dogs gobbled it down. After three days they are still eating with fervor but still not eating regular dog food. No vomiting or diarrhea in house yet. We have yet to see what happens. The dogs are both skin and bones right now.

You can but you want it to be raw it’s easier for them to digest that way. Also the beef will leave a lot of grease and it’ll make all the other ingredients not have the nutrients and proteins need for weight gain. Raw won’t harm your dog there stomachs are very acidic and they can handle it. If you want to take precautions you can give your dog pumpkin with the balls. Pumpkin is a natural Pepto-Bismol for dogs it helps calm there stomach and regulate there bowel movements!!! I hope this helped 😁😁

Hi Mzz Mona! Great question. These aren't meant to be fed as a full meal, just a daily snack. One satin ball per day should be enough to add a little weight to your toy poodle.
Ashley, it would depend how much you want to make. If you'd like to double the recipe, just multiply the ingredient amounts by 2. If you'd like to make a very large quantity, multiple the amounts by 4 or 5. It all depends on how much food you want to make in total.
Stick to meats, fish, veg, sweet potato, berries pears apples bananas for snacks, eggs, brown rice. Mash sweet potato with broccoli and carrots in bulk then add it to any meat

@@felix941010 Yes, rice is a grain. It is, however, gluten-free, so depending on the food sensitivities in question, it may (or may not) be a good choice.
The thing about grain free with the heart disease has to do with the fact that it includes peas and legumes, those are the two ingredients that you’ll have to worry about, otherwise grain free is fine for your pet.
I was giving my dog raw food and then had to take her to the vet because she got really sick one night on me. The vet told me to continue to cook for her, but to not do raw anymore. They are seeing a large increase in illnesses with the dogs who are fed this way, especially heart issues, and they don't know why. I now cook her meat and won't do raw anymore.

Dogs would eat raw meat in the wild. Their digestive systems are different from our in a sense that as long as the meat hasn’t been left out and it is cleaned well, salmonella and other bacteria’s aren’t a huge problem. Same reason why they can eat raw eggs. Raw diets have been found to be very good for dogs
my rottie was like that before, he hates raw meat, what i to solve this issue is by mixing half tea spoon of raw meat with his dry food(just as small as you can) and gradually increase the amount to a full small tea spoon,dogs likes raw meat but they dont know yet till you introduce them to this way, increase the amount in after a week you will thank me later. good luck bro

I'm sure venison can be used in place of beef, but venison is extremely lean meat. You'd need to add fat from another source. Olive oil is a healthy fat source...or avocado oil.
It does, you will see the results in about a week and a half. Soon as you stop though the dog starts to shed the pounds too. The thing is once you begin, you are doing it for the long haul. $$$$$$$$ My dog's weight goes up and down depending on my budget. I got kids to feed too. But it is fun to try it and see that it actually works.

@@polaroid_people4676 oatmeal is just carbs to fatten a dog, they don't have any benefits for them at all. Rice, egg and red meat it's great for your dog. Powder kelp(sold on amazon) also aids with digestion, and you can crush real fine the egg shell for extra calcium.
Dogs can’t digest coconut oil so use fish oil instead it’s wayyyyy better for them and helps skin and coat. Also raw meat as worms eggs and bacteria that can make your dog sick so I really don’t recommend it. Last point is that dogs are natural omnivores, when no meat was available they would eat things like nuts and seeds and anything else they could fine 100% meat would deprive them of necessary nutrients. This video is like a collage of all the dog food trends in the recent years and it’s very disappointing.

Less protein less energy harder to digest has parasites
fat intake does not equal fat on the body. it is actually a super efficient energy source.
Fat is not recommended for dogs in high amounts.

Do you use Instant Oats or Old Fashioned oats? How big are the balls. My puppy is 6# with hip issues.
Please make sure the ingredients do not include the sweetener Xylitol, which is lethal to dogs.

Do not get me wrong. Taste of The Wild is a great brand. But if you want something on the same level for a lower price, I recommend Victor dog food.

YOU NEED TO BLOOM the gelatin packet or it will swell in their belly (injury them).
Wonder if the gelatin would block the intestines too. Also, oats expand with liquid. I don't know about this recipe 😬

I was giving my dog raw food and then had to take her to the vet because she got really sick one night on me. The vet told me to continue to cook for her, but to not do raw anymore. They are seeing a large increase in illnesses with the dogs who are fed this way, especially heart issues, and they don't know why. I now cook her meat and won't do raw anymore.

Dogs would eat raw meat in the wild. Their digestive systems are different from our in a sense that as long as the meat hasn’t been left out and it is cleaned well, salmonella and other bacteria’s aren’t a huge problem. Same reason why they can eat raw eggs. Raw diets have been found to be very good for dogs

my rottie was like that before, he hates raw meat, what i to solve this issue is by mixing half tea spoon of raw meat with his dry food(just as small as you can) and gradually increase the amount to a full small tea spoon,dogs likes raw meat but they dont know yet till you introduce them to this way, increase the amount in after a week you will thank me later.

When my dog had stomach issues my vet said to add some salt and sugar to her water. Just a pinch. Salt won’t kill them you just don’t do it all the time.

I'm sure venison can be used in place of beef, but venison is extremely lean meat. You'd need to add fat from another source. Olive oil is a healthy fat source...or avocado oil.

It does, you will see the results in about a week and a half. Soon as you stop though the dog starts to shed the pounds too. The thing is once you begin, you are doing it for the long haul. $$$$$$$$ My dog's weight goes up and down depending on my budget. I got kids to feed too. But it is fun to try it and see that it actually works.

@@polaroid_people4676 oatmeal is just carbs to fatten a dog, they don't have any benefits for them at all. Rice, egg and red meat it's great for your dog. Powder kelp(sold on amazon) also aids with digestion, and you can crush real fine the egg shell for extra calcium.

Dogs can’t digest coconut oil so use fish oil instead it’s wayyyyy better for them and helps skin and coat. Also raw meat as worms eggs and bacteria that can make your dog sick so I really don’t recommend it. Last point is that dogs are natural omnivores, when no meat was available they would eat things like nuts and seeds and anything else they could fine 100% meat would deprive them of necessary nutrients. This video is like a collage of all the dog food trends in the recent years and it’s very disappointing.
Coconut oil is a trans-fat..now thought to be bad for human and dog injestion...(processed Cereal containing sugar & grains isn't great either.
