Excellent list. I don't know how you do it but having lived and traveled extensively in Italy I know your lists are bang on. Italy is so special and the Veneto is no exception to this rule. I particularly like all the magnificent villas on the road from Venice to Treviso, many as hotels great for property tours.
I hope you don't mind a plug for my favourite Italian hotel - Villa Condulmer in Mogliano Veneto, that hosted Verdi after the disastrous first night of La Traviata at La Fenice in Venice, Taylor & Burton during filming of the Taming of the Shrew & Ronald & Nancy Reagan for a G7... David.

Agree. Perhaps a little too small and prices more expensive than Vicenza but a lovely place.
Did you evaluate Bassano del Grappa?
Hi Jeff I did. Bassano del Grappa is nice but property prices are on average higher than Vicenza and in all honesty Vicenza I feel offers a lot more.

By the end of the century you and other potential buyers will be dead, so what's the point of addressing the issues with the rise of the sea level? By the way, this is predicted to affect many places, including most of the Netherlands, France, and also the UK...never the less, it's too far away in time, and a lot will change in the future, including potential solutions that are already been looked into
