A lot of people in Europe are multi-lingual. It's something good to have when you have so many different languages in such a small area.
great documentary...10x...
@bigbossman999 My most sincere apology for the misreading your comment. I didn't know that History channel has taken such a turn. Thank you for elaborating, though, I'd love to know more about this strange take over, but in light of youtube etiquette (or lack thereof)...shall we continue this via private messages? =)
It has always amazed me how the Swiss managed to avoid all physical participation in both wars yet supplied the warring factions with materials and weapons. Also Switzerland was never invaded in either war.How did the Swiss avoid the fate of all the other countries around it?It's fine to say "We're neutral" but that doesn't stop you being featured on the "Next country to invade" list of the "enemy".I have never seen this subject covered in any documentary about WW1or WW2,any ideas?
@silver760 trying to invade Switzerland would've been Futile for The Nazis, considering the country has numerous mountain ranges that are easily defensible

Why?
what about the abolitionists? weren't many of them evangelicals and even if they were not, some of the religious revivals of the 17th and 18th centuries in America did spawn a desire for social change. Black Americans call for social change always began with the church and truths of Christianity found right the Bible, e.g. "love thy neighbor."
@bigbossman999 Well, religion can be used to rationalise just about any actions, really; the good, the bad, the ugly. That being said, I'm not sure how you come to find the use of religion for acts of violence, war and oppression a humorous topic...
