I always watch, but never comment. This is the first design I've seen that I would make zero changes to. It airy, light, beautiful, and functional for the majority, rather than the few ultra minimalists. Well done.
@@willem4d Haha - was thinking same, pocket doors that open and slide into the wall perpendicular to cooktop. Cooktop view being more accessible that way gives a homier feeling. Wholly appreciate all else - some good design here.
This is a great wood project book ruclips.net/user/postUgkxkPIWb22DigCqxmlXerCyUF4HCl6eSU2L . Most of the projects use the pallet simply as a source of reclaimed wood not as a recognizable pallet so even if you didn't have a pallet you could make these projects with any reclaimed (or even new) wood. The instructions are excellent. The style is charming and would work with lots of different decor. There are quite a number of projects that involve tiling of teh wood pieces which is a really cool idea and can produce beautiful pieces when working with aged wood.
same here, it’s my favorite feature in the place. I love the warm wood tone, the vertical slats, how it hides the oven + storage and that it matches the bathroom vanity. ❤
Yes, that's both a positive and negative for me. I love the easy inside/outside access but not sure about the lack of privacy. Great for people watching though 😊and making new friends.
It’s rare that I see a solution in these bespoke apartments I could actually use. But the dual chaise lounges is genius! I love the fact she can push them together and make a guest bed. Well done!
This is my favourite apartment in quite some time. It is absolutely PERFECT!!! Comfortable, beautiful, cosy yet clean lines, and decorated impeccably. Bravo to this talented lady!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This Polish architect's cozy Scandi-style apartment is a testament to the art of minimalism and functionality. From the clean lines to the neutral color palette, every detail reflects the timeless elegance of Scandinavian design. The clever use of space-saving solutions and multifunctional furniture creates a sense of openness, despite the modest square footage. Natural light floods the space, accentuating the warmth of wooden accents and adding to the inviting atmosphere. It's a perfect blend of simplicity and comfort, showcasing how thoughtful design can transform even the smallest spaces into stylish sanctuaries.
For me, the ideas in ruclips.net/user/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
I've lost count of how many 'never too small' videos I've watched, but this is by far my favourite! The use of space, functionality and light is amazing! I wish I lived there myself! 😊
I love how all storage space blends into the walls and that it feels like there’s no kitchen when just chilling in the living room. Makes it easier to relax after a long day 💯
And another one from Poland! Yay! Beautiful apartment! There is everything I would need if I lived only with my husband (no children). I would add a little more color, but that's my preference. And that shelf above the kitchen island - I just love it! Congratulations to the Designer!
In other videos some designers hide the kitchen too and normally I'm not a big fan of that, but this time I really like it! I love how light the apartment is and the 2 chaise lounges are super smart, one if my fav tours!
Lovely showcase of a cozy Scandi-style apartment by a Polish architect. The 42sqm space is utilized brilliantly, blending functionality with a warm, minimalist aesthetic. Perfect for anyone looking for small space inspiration!
I'm a student with a specialisation in interior architecture and an active designer from Poznań. I just wanted to say that I feel very proud seeing Polish architects with such sense of creativity and professionalism. Thank you for sharing Ms. Alicja!
By effectively making the cupboards a continuous wall it enables the apartment to have smooth uncluttered lines whilst not compromising on storage space.
Yes but when you open the kitchen cupboard doors to access the induction stove and have to leave those open when you cook that can probably makes accessing the pantry more difficult
@@VALGEFF1 That's how I felt about this, too. I like the overall effect but it might work better if the doors could slide into the space between the cupboards so they are not in the way.
@@kaalthoff I didn't understand that design decision either. Perhaps this way was worth the slight extra hassle while cooking to this owner and a lot cheaper and easier than making doors that can fold away. I also couldn't see if the wall to the right of the kitchen (with the black and white framed picture) is a cupboard or not.
Wow, it is one of the most organised, well designed, and the most flexible apartments on this program! So airy and full of light. Decent size kitchen, very functional storage, beautiful bathroom, I love every single detail of this space!
I’m really amused that its one of the design on this cannel, thats pure, minimalistic and cosy. Not built-in furniture like many of designs here. We’ll done, happy thats project created by Polish architect
One of my fab episodes for sure. She has SUCH an eye for beautiful and functional design!! That bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. The big mirror with the vanity light behind? I'm in love.
I really like her choices of color and texture, and the idea of her 2 chaise couches filling the space and turning into a guest bed when rearranged. The whole arrangement feels very lived in, and relatable.
great design! there's still a lot of storage despite it being a small space, and even though the interior is very minimal, the wooden island and plants bring a lot of warmth
Beautiful. Very refreshing. All my heart's-tears to the people of Poland for its embracing, loving heart. What an example to the world you are. Love from 🐨Land x
We need more of these designs everywhere. Clearly this was built with people comfort in mind, not investors to leave empty. It’s not massive, but it doesn’t have to be and the layout is the best I’ve seen comparative to what we have in Canada with random walls everywhere.
I love everything about this apartment, even the plants (which I’m not a fan of per se) work beautifully (above the kitchen island or acting as privacy by the window). The simplicity of material used, same floor design throughout - the wood kitchen island - everything is wonderful, absolutely wonderful.
Genialny pomysł z wykorzystaniem dwóch szezlongów! Długo nie mogłam znaleźć odpowiedniego narożnika do mojego małego mieszkania, więc teraz zacznę rozglądać się za czymś takim. 😊
One of the best appartment, and one done to my heart: it did ot compromise on the sofa!!! Feels like a regular appartment with a lot of storage ans a sense of normalcy.
I love the concept of living beautiful and simple. This small space is a dream come true. It feels airy, organic and lively and it's got all you need to live comfortably and in style.
We are building a shed and bought this to assist us Does not include any type of blueprints but very helpful to remind you about permits, different ways of doing the foundation or roof ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcLVQopTIucrxiVRQA0khLGQEnDVKCSMG and why they need to be that way, it also includes "pro tips" and lots of pictures and videos Very informative! I also bought it used for 3.18 plus shipping and in "good" condition. It had a little dent on the cover but that was it. Glad I bought it!
Wow this one of the best ones... definitely...in style design colour... everything in it's place...and just enough furniture...greatly defined spaces ... doesn't look a small home...I could move in now.
Really lovely. The tall kitchen cabinets could benefit from doors that can slide in on the sides - leaving a clear space for working. Love the choice of simple materials and colors as a base. One can always add personality and colour. 💗
It is a lovely place. I was thinking the same, about the open doors being a hindrance while cooking, trying to get something out of the fridge or freezer or using oven or diswasher. A sliding door might have been preferable here, logistics wise.
Very nice. Small enough to make it cosy, just big enough to live comfortably with two people, adaptable enough to invite a bunch of people over. I really like it!
this is a great example of how the layout (or floorplan) helps to make a small place very live-able. my in-laws have a 2,600-sq ft. house (in Orange County, CA) with the hallway and bedrooms all clustered together in a way that when you have even just 2 people moving through it, you feel totally cramped and crowded. the relationship of the area to the layout is way more important than simply having "more" or "bigger." *i'm sure people watching this video already know this, but it's those who believe only "bigger is better" that don't understand that concept.
Oh I love to see a micro apartment that is not designed for a die-hard minimalists! This is what's always in the back of my head when. watch those episodes: these people don't cook! Kitchen in here looks usable but at the same time thanks to the doors it can be hidden so they can enjoy a relaxed time without watching all the kitchen clatter. Love this one.
She really express how to live simply, the way that all the furniture is invisble, provides a clean look and evoke such a beautiful appreciation of the space, also the configuration of space on the bathroom is perfect, take advantage of all the space and provides a really stetic area.
Lovely home. I too tend to gravitate towards nature for my home, except flowers etc as I prefer colour in my home. Clever designs in this home. Very nice!!
Perhaps my fave of the many videos I've watched on NTS. Not my 'style' yet I could easily envision myself living there. Nothing to dislike, lots to love!
I loved everything about this apartment. The two chaises longues are a great trick, everything is so intentional and well functioning, but beautiful and alive as well. Thank you for sharing this inspiring design!
Superb: clever and efficient layout, the sight line through the apartment from entrance to lounge window provides a feeling of space and the furnishings, well designed lighting and battened peninsular in the kitchen add warmth & texture to the white walls and make for a cosy home. 10/10 to the architect.
Great aesthetic and function! The only change I can think of is maybe switching the invisible kitchen doors into sliding ones for maintaining a wider moving space. Love the wall art above the bed also!

Agree fully. And it feels so comfy as well.
agree but maybe 1 thing; pocket doors for where the cooktop is :)
The only thing I'd change is the colors, paint is cheap!
@@lmjohnsono I will personally change the flooring it looks a bit industrial for a home but everything is nice especially the toilet.
