    Question… does the original pitman arm fit the Borgeson steering shaft or do you need a new one? New shaft seems to be thicker. Thanks, great video!

      Yes the original fits perfectly fine. Thanks for the feedback! By the way this steering box upgrade was well worth it and makes the car handle much better!

    Should have dropped the k member engine and trans out as a unit. From the bottom. Easier to clean , install and reinstall. Nice vid just thought I might pass it along. And yes I’ve dropped more than one out the bottom.

    Wondering if you have any dead spot at center in your steering wheel? I’ve had one of my Camaro for years and I love it but two weeks ago I installed one for my 67. C10 and I may have gotten a defective box. Borgeson is going to send me a new box this week but I’m wondering if you experienced any dead spot at center. Great video thank you.

    Hello! Great vid. Watching this as I put in my Borgeson Steering box. One question though, which power steering lines go where?

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  Год назад +1

      If you are facing the engine and the steering box is on your right, the braided line goes on the left (pressure out) and the rubber line goes on the right (return side) on the Borgeson unit.

    Question, when you are drilling to insert the pins, do you drill all the way through?

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  3 года назад +1

      Yes you need to drill all the way thru. It allows the roll pin to go all the way down and fit flush.

    Is there anyway I can do this without dropping the steering column? I have a manual steering 71 roadrunner I’m planning on swapping to a Borgeson unit.

      I don't think you can without dropped the column.
