    As a kid, my Mom would put cucumbers in vinegar and refrigerate. She let us have it as a crunchy snack. I don't even think she knew all the benefits of this fruit. I'll pick up a few later along with some apple cider vinegar. 🦋

      My mom, too. There was always a large container on the table at Thanksgiving & Christmas. It was always gone on night one! Regular vinegar with a pinch of salt.

      Growing up we very frequently had sliced cuke, with vinegar, salt & often thinly chopped onion salad with dinner. It was one of my favorites as well as a salad made of red beets, vinegar, salt, & onion.

      I didn't know about all the benefits! I knew they were hydrating to the body & skin. I learned cucumbers are a fruit a couple summer's ago. Also , tomatoes & avocadoes are a fruit, not a vegetable.

      @ Yes. If you check out the Glucose Goddess ten hacks to prevent spikes, one is having a vegetable or salad before your dinner. I find it easier to eat a cucumber then make a salad.

      @@vickybarnes7881 He did a study in the UK about cabbage juice and how it helped people with stomach and intestinal problems. I'm sure you can find it if you know anyone who's having these problems so they would know how much cabbage juice. If you use too much then it might be a problem 😂

    A fruit - I did not know. I love them. Bought more yesterday. They do quench thirst. So clean and fresh. So sensible. We were given as a treat as children. Love of a cucumber. Astounding, so simple. Love my Doc. ♥️✝️♥️

      I love cucumbers: American, English, Japanese, Persian, Chinese. These are the ones I know of. Each one tastes different and has a different texture. I eat the skin & the seeds. They are all hydrating. I eat them in a regular , tuna , egg, macaroni, or cucumber, onion ( with or without tomato) salads. I also slice them & eat them as a snack. You can cut it the long way, take the seeds out and stuff it with any of salads above . This is great, especially on a hot summer day or any day you don't want to cook or heat up the house! Of course, you can eat them the old-fashioned way, pickle them. Please make mine Dill pickles, please, because only dill will do!

    Cucumbers are delicious and you don't have to even add anything to them for them to be that way, however, many people like theirs with some type of seasoning or dressing.They're also good for puffy eyes and they feel amazing. They smell good too.

    Years ago when I suffered badly with Chronic Fatigue I ate cucumbers and tomatoes at every meal. I am sure it was one of several foods that helped me recover from it. They have now discovered that Chronic Fatigue is linked to the lymphatics in the brain. Thank God - perhaps now they'll find a cure for M.E. which can be such a devastating illness, causing endless tiredness and sickness, that, until now, the medical profession has practically washed its hands of.

    I have studied on health benefits from both topical and consumption of cucumbers and cucumber's healing properties.

    Dear doctor Mandel. It's great that you are willing to discuss any comments. Doctor Gundry, has said many times in his videos, to avoid eating the skin and seeds of cucumbers due to their lectin content. I use to always buy cucumbers, but since I skin and seed it , there is not a lot left to eat. Then I also wondered about the white line down the cucumber, and when i ask Google, it said that it is the mosaic virus. So now I don't buy any. Listening to your videos it's very encouraging as always . Thank you

    Cucumbers are amazing! I quite often will juice them, or I'll slice them and put them in apple cider vinegar. So good!!
