    Really annoying, the first half of the video shows the construction of the 4-door SUV CX-5, not the MX-5. The sound you hear throughout the video is just random factory sounds, and has no relation to what you're actually seeing on screen - why do that?

    • @RPO767
      @RPO767 Год назад +3

      0-60 in 5.7 seconds is ridiculously slow? It's not what the MX-5 is about anyway, and I do hear many saying this over and over, or that it's underpowered. The MX-5 is, however ridiculously light weight and is one of the most fun cars to drive. I would say that most other cars are ridiculously heavy.

    • @eloicasals1826
      @eloicasals1826 Год назад +5

      I hope they can continue finding clever engineering solutions to avoid exactly what you are asking here, hence they can maintain the weight as low as they do, which is one key aspect that makes the Miata so special to drive.

    • @Digi20
      @Digi20 Год назад +1

      The MX-5 will not stay an MX-5 (a small and above all lightweight roadster) with the current battery tech, cause this would add at least 300kg weight and raise the driving position due to the battery pack in the floor. they would either start making a bigger more luxury electro-droptop, calling it MX-7 or something, or drop the car alltogether (till an alternative to lithium batterys, like solid state ones, is available with at least 2 times the energy density we have today).
