No they can't. But if they don't try to recapture this look and this energy of Kiss at their pinnacle why even bother? At least we'll always have the classic footage and the memories of those of us who saw them in the mid-70s
@@AlmostReady504 I didn't get to see them live in the 70s, but I did get to see them with Ace and Peter on the reunion tour and " farewell tour". However the End of the road tour with Tommy and Eric was a sad thing to witness, Paul lip syncing, Gene struggling to move around in the boots and costume, so I guess for future Kiss fans it's better to see avatars than Gene and Paul trying to do this at such an old age, anyway Gene and Paul sold Kiss and the entire Kiss catalog to pop house entertainment,so they can never perform or do anything as Kiss again
Yeah, unfortunately there are several instances of lack of sync here, but being an amateur editor I didn't want to compromise the integrity of the video (I did end up screwing up the end of Rock & Roll All Nite because it was shorter than in the video ^^') just for the sake of additionnal syncs, but maybe I should've.
At this time in rock history i remember it well, they were unique, real and soooooo badass! Theif rise was a spectacle totally awesome up until unmasked. That point forward was garbage imo. They had some good songs after but it wasnt the kiss you see here by the time unmasked hit the shelves.
@@invisibleman102870% of older videos are stretched out. I can not stand that people do that. I am not talking about if this was the only version, but the original looks so much better.
That's how bass is played. You can pull or pluck the strings. Early in this time period Gene did that. You can also use a pic like he does now. He does it mainly to throw fans pics as tokens of love in my opinion. ❤
This clipped was filmed at the Michigan Palace in Detroit without an audience. They also shot the cover for the Kiss Alive album there. Anytime the band did a lip-synched video, Gene pretended to play with his fingers instead of a pick.
@@missym5196you have no fkn clue what you're talking about 😂 he always used a pick live. he plucked when miming.. for that exact reason coz he's fkn miming
Cool I love kiss it’s my favorite band and I love this edit 🤟😝🤟
Paul Stanley 2022: I think we're the best we've ever been.
Paul Stanley 1975: Are you SURE you're not on drugs?
Wow! Just Wow!!! I've never seen this footage before and I'm a hardcore KISS fan. THANK YOU!
"Bad Ass!" Possibly the best "Live" album of all time."
It's a tie for my favorite "Live" album, with "Unleashed In The East" by Judas Priest.
Avatars can't replace this ....

You lost me at the 0:50 mark when the audio/video sync went out.

Ohhhh Yahhh PEOPLE...see U in 2026 TOUR
Gene never plays live without a pick
Then I guess it specifically filmed to promote KISS Alive, thus basically their first official music video.
@texpool3106 yeah I guess so, I do member seeing in the late 70s, dunno why they used cmon and love me ,
Well done. Please keep the original aspect ratio.
Thanks. I did no change to the aspect ratio. I only changed the audio.
@@texpool3106 I thought you changed it because it looks stretched.
@@invisibleman1028that’s what it already looked like when I found it. Pretty sure it was the only version available to feature both songs

Terrible le play back 😂😂!!!
How come when gene is lip synching he plays his bass with his fingers instead of a pick? It just looks dumb and extra fake
