Richard deserves all the grace and love in the world, like my maman and papa he had a huge family and it was hard on people back then especially if they didn’t have a lot of money and were working hard day to day to make ends meets in hard physically demanding jobs, and it was demanding for black men and people to have to be treated they were back then and in some places people still treat not only black people bad but anyone whose financially struggling with kids or sick or injured or who has disabilities etc. so he probably had a predator around that say this darling talented young boy who was desperate for a parental figure to love and appreciate him. And that may have confused him because he didn’t realize they had evil attentions. Like they say many predators the children get tricked into believing the predator loves them and is helping them by gift giving, attention and money their own parents don’t have. So I give gay and trans people grace as Christ would have and I love them as he would have. I cannot imagine how it must have felt to be that talented and his own daddy never took interest as a young boy, kicked him out and didn’t get to see him become famous, and died before Little Richard became a household name. And celebrity. And famous musician adores by other famous artists and who helped many get there and inspired them. He forgave his father because he understood the father had only learned bad patterns from his own family. Even way back then there were the same issues we see today. And I’m praying Little Richard is singing and dancing with Jesus and that the father greeted him with open arms and held him in his arms and said you are home, son and I have missed you. I did youth group every week. I know more Bible than you do. I don't want anything to do with it. You're not saved. You're justifying your fear and guilt. Everything you think is God working in your life is really just a product of your mindset. You feel that you experience God in your life not because he acts in you but because you abide by kindness, charity, compassion, and forgiveness. Those aren't God. Those are the product of clean living. You put the effort in. You got the results. There are no miracles. There are only people who live their faith. Miracles only happen because someone practiced what they preach and pour into other people. Secular people experience everything you do with equal success every day.
