Did anyone notice that the media did not even elude to Little Richard's walk with Jesus? I saw him once on an airplane. He was sitting in first class. He had a burgundy red Bible sitting on His arm rest. As I was walking by headed to coach I said...I see you've got your sword...He smiled and I smiled back. We shared a few short praises....what a moment!
That's what I was just saying. I never knew he became a Christian

I met Little Richard when I was a Pastor in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1995. He attended my church for service. Very humble man. I am glad that he continued to seek Christ until the end. No judgement in Christ. Rest dear brother until Christ returns to take you home.

I did speak with him. He was conflicted but he never forgot his religious roots. The book he speaks about, Steps to Christ. He actually had them even then to pass out after church.

Little Richard a "LEGEND and a GODLY MAN". like many of you who love Rock and Roll, Little Richard was an icon, The Beatles opened for him in the '60's in London, Elvis, Hendrix, James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry looked up to him. He owned his look, and rocked the stage!! Indeed, he was an incredible human being, he was rejected by his father for being gay, he didn't allow that to define him. After years of being swindled by his managers, he returned to school to get educated where he learned to manage his finances, read and write! Became more successful. He often spoke about how he experienced racism, (nothing's changed in 2020). Little Richard was a kindred soul, he gave his life to Christ and became an Evangelist! He will always be remembered for his incredible talent, his charasmatic personality, his amazing sense of humor. Little Richard lived a fulfilled life, he stated in many interviews that without God his life was empty, and was estatic when he became a Christian as he surrendered his life to God Almighty, and in this RUclips it's very clear he loves The Lord. Little Richard you are sorely missed and loved! Thank you our beautiful brother for being you! Amén!

I delivered his dinner up on his room at Holiday Inn, Pigeon Forge, TN. He was there for the opening of Jukebox Junction for Dollywood. I was shocked at his humility and kindness, inquiring how I am and his generous tip. He was sincerely calm and friendly. He gave me a paperback book that was phenomenal testimony.
He gave me one as well. He was my patient. He was an amazing man

I don't know when Little Richard allowed Jesus into his life but he inspired me to memorize more scripture, he surely had much memorized.
Little Richard was born the same day my mother was born - and died of the same disease my father had. He was a little before my time, but inspired many musicians of my time. I'm glad we both found Jesus and the SDA church. Lord, please help me to commit myself to You as he did - before it's too late. This talk has been really inspirational to me. He learned what is truly important in life: What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

He preached back in the early 1980s for awhile. I saw him in Dallas with no makeup, lipstick, or crazy hairdo. You wouldn't even recognize him. But then he slipped back into his old ways. Glad he finished the race right with God.

Hearing him speak made me feel so good inside. This makes me think about growing up and the people God placed in my life to help remind me that he was and always will be there for me. I’ve made it through so much and didn’t realize how hard it could have been because I had him walking with me. I think back and say to myself how did I make it through that. It amazes me. To this day I love people and treat people how I want to be loved and treated and I thank God through good and bad. God is good.

I'm a Christian, but often get discouraged by things going on in this world. Watching this man's beautiful testimony encouraged me SO MUCH. ❤🙌 What a testimony. It is a reminder that NOTHING is too hard for God, and I need to keep looking to Him, and to His Word. This life is only temporary, a place of learning to get us ready for our eternal life with God.
