Was hoping you were going to talk about Ais's avenger skills effects on Wiene. Like how she plead to Wiene to stop talking her, fearing if all monsters can start talking could affect how she precieve them as not monsters.
You should make a video about how strong Ryu is. I think as a longtime level 4 that seems to routinely punch above her weight class, wows her allies with her skills and traumatized entire Evilus familias, her level of power and skill definitly seem to be an outlier for her level itself!
I really gotta give props to the music in DanMachi, so much great music that's super underrated and all implemented into the anime in a perfect way to each scenes tone in season 4, I hear that music throughout this video, I hope more people check out the amazing OST for this show.

I have read Astrea Records from the Danmachi game last year and if I remember correctly, both Ryu and Ais held the record for fastest level up from 1 to 2 before Bell. It's been a long time since I've read it so I might be wrong.

Avenger works on anything she perceives as a monster. Not just actual monsters. It buffed her in SO12 against Revis, who she trained to perceive as a monster. It would likely affect Freya as well, after volume 17.
it was stated that while Ais is better at killing monsters, but when facing people, she can easily be overwhelmed and outmatched if they are at or near her power, which is why Revis did so well against with her first fight against her as Ais wasn't custom to fighting people who could put up a fight against her rather than monsters I know Ais held her own when she leveled up, but if we take into context the fact Ais got wooped by Revis at level 5, that is a long time of Ais's weakness to fighting people to go by, a weakness that would make fighting certain enemies significantly harder

I love how Ais's skill is based on hatred and Bell's skill is based on hope, two of the biggest emotions that drive human being. It's very poetic indeed.
Ryu did also grow very fast. I think it was 1.5 year for her 1st level up and it was 6 years from receving falna to her last status update before Astrea leaft Orario. Also she has very high status for a level 4 adventure meaning after only 6 years she was almost level 5
Btw spoilers I know she became a level 6 in the most recent novel and because of her new magic she probably is the 2nd strogest mage besides being a powerful swordfighter. Her magic allow her to use all the magic the other members of Astrea familia knew meaning she probably has over 12 different magics she can cast.

Given Aiz's backstory, it'll probably lead to the motivation Bell needs to refocus his "single minded pursuit". Cause it'll go from "trying to catch up to Aiz" to "trying to stay strong enough to protect her". Plus it kinda ties into his fight with Asterius too since he's also trying to get strong enough to defeat him, a monster.... which Aiz seems to hate. Bell could possibly end up fighting Asterius to protect Aiz, which would give more meaning to when she saved him long ago. It's just speculation on my part, but the pieces ARE there to set up the story like that.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, when facing asterius, ais hand trembling not because the aerial backlash, but due to asterius attack that so strong to made her hand tremble. and as why he can slay that wyvern its due to avenger skill that have another passive to extremely boost her power when she facing dragon like monster, similar to bell ox slyer, i think she got this skill due to her hatred to OEBD . Still it's overall good explanation video 👍👍
She is one of my favourite female characters and I haven't even warched the show that much. It's really good to see a girl who isn't just a love interest and/or a damsel in distress. She kicks ass and is super powerful. I'd take such anime settings over mc being overpowered and the only capable character in a show.

I love the way Ais put in SO That all adventurers, her included have an Ugly Black Flame fueling their desire to grow, but Bell has a Pure White Flame And also show how that pureness is what makes Bell so broken, how Ais wonders why he can grow so strong so fast, yet hasnt figured its the 1 thing that he has already seen in him and makes her feel at ease I wonder if something is set to happen where Bell is able to trully purify Ais Black Flame and what that would entail Also its clears in their elements, Wind makes Fire grow stronger
The grand bell from Argonaut did somewhat purify Ais black flame allow her to use the white wind and destroy revis. Also it wasn't directly stated, just my speculation
The thing about Avenger is that it can work on basically anything, as long as Ais views them as monsters. For example, if she starts viewing Bell as a more powerful almiraj, it is possible for her to be able to use Avenger against him.

Not necessarily. I get what you mean, but Bell himself is the son of what is at most, a level 3 (his father, don't know much beyond he was a cowardly supporter, so even level 3 is probably being pretty generous tbh) and a level 1 (his mother only took a falna to help with her health).

And again, just because you're parents are strong doesn't guarantee you will be. It'll help for many reasons (guidance and resources for example), but it's not a guarantee. Bell's mother was extremely weak from her illness, while his aunt, who also had the illness, was a level 7 on part with a level 9 in her prime. The reason why Bell is so strong is because his determination/desire literally manifested in an ability. Likewise, Avenger is a result of desire, not blood. I'm not saying that their kid would be weak, or that they couldn't become the strongest, but just being their kid alone wouldn't be enough.

While there's no concrete evidence, I would argue that Ottar is above Aiz during the Asterius incident since while Aiz wasn't able to kill Asterius, Asterius did instinctually feel that Ottar can kill him.
Yes. Bell as new level 4 (basically power of new level 5) was able to fight and almost kill it. Ais as level 6 can easily do that. Considering Alize was able to use her magic against juggernaut, so can Ais which is easy win for her.
No, the anime skips the Dark Age of Orario. It has been covered in the mobile game Memoria Freese, and has also been adapted into a 3-part novel series called Astrea Record. It will eventually be released in English, but the game is currently doing a re-run of the original Astrea Record story (which is written by Omori himself and canon). The novels are him taking his script for the event and re-tooling it into full length novels. Basically it was a time seven years prior to Bell arriving in Orario that Evilus ran roughshod over the city, killing tons of innocent citizens and adventurers both. Basically it was a war between the dark gods and gods that engulfed the city in chaos, and caused the rise of many heroes like Finn and Otarl. It also is when Astrea Familia and Ryu were heavily in play, and plying their heroics. Sadly 2 years later... We know what happens to them. At the time though they were as prominent a Familia as Loki Familia and Freya Familia.

Liaris freese is a super broken skill ngl, it not only multiple his excelia gain but also make him grow faster as a fighter too, he was able to fight on par with a level 2 Minotaur which is crazy
Bruh, according to the wiki, the newest volume ends a little over 7 months since the minotaur accident where Aiz saves Bell. Think he was an adventuer for ~2 weeks at that point, so it hasn't even been 8 months. Not to mention that it's not even like Bell is getting the bare minimum to level up, the lowest stat he's had when leveling is a high A, with everything else being SS+.

Yes. Bell as new level 4 (basically power of new level 5) was able to fight and almost kill it. Ais as level 6 can easily do that. Considering Alize was able to use her magic against juggernaut, so can Ais which is easy win for her.

No, the anime skips the Dark Age of Orario. It has been covered in the mobile game Memoria Freese, and has also been adapted into a 3-part novel series called Astrea Record. It will eventually be released in English, but the game is currently doing a re-run of the original Astrea Record story (which is written by Omori himself and canon). The novels are him taking his script for the event and re-tooling it into full length novels.
Basically it was a time seven years prior to Bell arriving in Orario that Evilus ran roughshod over the city, killing tons of innocent citizens and adventurers both. Basically it was a war between the dark gods and gods that engulfed the city in chaos, and caused the rise of many heroes like Finn and Otarl. It also is when Astrea Familia and Ryu were heavily in play, and plying their heroics. Sadly 2 years later... We know what happens to them. At the time though they were as prominent a Familia as Loki Familia and Freya Familia.

@@elm3446 right now bell doesn't have anything related to lighting, zeus is his adopted grandfather so he maybe he not gonna get something lighting related. The closest to a Bell with lighting is Argonaut after he got the Thunderous Sword

Liaris freese is a super broken skill ngl, it not only multiple his excelia gain but also make him grow faster as a fighter too, he was able to fight on par with a level 2 Minotaur which is crazy
Bruh, according to the wiki, the newest volume ends a little over 7 months since the minotaur accident where Aiz saves Bell. Think he was an adventuer for ~2 weeks at that point, so it hasn't even been 8 months. Not to mention that it's not even like Bell is getting the bare minimum to level up, the lowest stat he's had when leveling is a high A, with everything else being SS+.
