My friend bought a 396 sbc Blueprint Engine 3 years ago. We put it in a 68 Prostreet Camaro with a built turbo 400 and a narrowed 9 inch Ford NASCAR rear end with 4.30 gears. It also has 17 inch wide Mickey Thompson tires and weighs 3200 pounds. He has put a lot of hurt on those very wide tires in the last 3 years. The engine is just as strong as it was 3 years ago and sounds great.
Appears to be a pretty nice machine shop in the background. So, there is potential for more auto related content… like interviewing the guys who machines the blocks and heads. Even the custodians who keep the shop safe and clean perform vital roles that affect product quality in the shop environment.
This three part series actually talked me out of buying a blueprint engine. Everything seems too rushed, too reckless, and they don’t even start bolts with their fingers and then tighten them down. They start them and tighten them with pneumatic tools. Guarantee every block has some cross threads.
I have a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2 I need over hauled or new motor My car has 283k miles on it but IF I make it back home that's 783 miles back I been stuck here in Farmington, NM for 2 years. I don't really think I can make it back it has noise coming from the Mains or rod bearings going out. I'm on SS so I Don't have lot of money. Shops here are outrageous in Price to over haul AutoZone has a rebuilt motor for $1800. But I'm to old to install it. But first I need to get home by the 5th of July.

Use to be marshall engines it was a bad turn out lots of blown engines returned
Blue print pushing out motors like tick tacs. Be aware of the final results . Seems like when they go wrong, you are your own
Junk....dont buy.....lots of unhappy customers.....1 out of 5 rating on better bus bur. Site.....stay away
