If i opted to wear Bahsei on the body, I would be wasting a line of stats from having slayer on both that and siroria. Is the stats from siroria still just too good to pass up?
@@GMosskg yep even if you take off the min slayer bonus, the stats are still very nice. Not really much diff from dv though when paired with another slayer set, they are pretty similar.

Any chance of a Deadlands update for this build? There were significant changes with the Crit cap and changes to weapon vs spell damage now being weapon and spell damage. A lot of people are using Kinra's in favor of crit damage sets like Medusa or Mother's Sorrow. I was looking for update notes in the description and didn't see anything. There were also many changes to the NB like the spell damage added to merciless resolve and twisted path damage? Does it still make sense to run Beast Trap? Better options? Thanks in advance!

So weird. So many of my replies are gone. I def responded to this idk what happened. Anyways, it’s cause every tick also applies overcharged which does dmg too. And the overcharged dmg + the dot from debilitate outperforms the upfront plus dot from cripple

Hey Skinny Cheeks, why not use Lotus Fan instead of Debilitate on the front bar? It would give you minor vulnerability and extra crit from the NB passive. Just curious on your reasoning there.
Hey Skinny I have a couple questions: 1. Do you use Assassins Will during your execute phase at all? I am assuming that you will continue to light attack weave your execute and maintain crushing wall and dark path, so you should be having 5 stacks on your merciless resolve but I did not see you fire it off. 2. I notice alot of builds use crippling grasp, is this mainly for the debuff it provides to take advantage of reave from our ultimate, or is the damage really just that good? I personally prefer using sap essence for dungeons for example to provide an aoe spam and then I may or may not swap it out for something else
This build is a bit old. Yes use crippling for single target dmg. It is strong. If you need more aoe it is your 1st skill to go. And no don’t fire your bow proc in execute. You want to sit at the max stacks to stay at 300 weapon and spell dmg while you execute

I did it recently on my mag dk and I used bahsei/medusa. probably would work well on NB too. the quicker you can burn the boss, the less phases you have to go through, so you don't wanna pass up too much on ST dmg. Run wall, orb, and path for your aoe, and you could drop debilitate front bar for sap essence if you wanted or just spam your wall when you need a quick burst of aoe dmg for the adds. that was essentially what i was doing except with wall and orb on dk.
Why does everyone like burning spellweave? The effective spell damage from the 5 piece is only 326 (490* 8/12). Seems very low for 5 piece, when NMA, Talfyg's, DV, etc. are available.
I understand that I'd want the maelstrom buff up asap in the opening (A1 basically) but wouldnt it be a lot better to start the following A with the skill on frontbar (debilitate) so we wont barswap after the bowproc in B and have it hit on backbar (worst case every 2nd bowproc lands on the non-medusa bar) ? It would only need adjustment to the order of DoTs in A - and (optionally) make the first A a A* which is part of the opening (although that is probably a small thing over the full parse)
yeah you can definitely do that if you want to try and optimize that there. I try to hang a little on the barswap so it lands but often swap to early. i find the rotation a bit easier to manage this way but you can definitely change it up to avoid that.
For AoE trash setups where you use a lightning staff instead of inferno, why still a flame enchant instead of shock? Do you not pair a shock enchant when using the lightning staff?
Hey, Cheeks- I just had a few questions: The first one is more of a request and I was just wondering if you have any availability to do any parses without slotting as much CP just so us lower CP goblins can see if we’re on the right track. Basically just like 300,600, 810, etc. If not, no worries! The second one: I notice the trial dummy is always turned around to get the most out of backstab- is this a common practice with all classes or just nightblade? And does that mean that the DPS numbers will be significantly less if your target is facing you? For example, the sunspire dragons. Thanks for the clean video!
for the 1st question - I did this last patch on stamplar and the results were: 80k at no cp / 96k at 810 cp / 104k at full cp so you could take the results from that and math out the %s - however w/ less CP needed this patch the discrepancy would be even smaller now. I'd guess around 810cp would be somewhere around 92-95% of the way to full dmg. for the 2nd question - yes this is common practice with all classes, not just NB. most encounters in the game you will be flanking. dragons in sunspire are indeed an exception and you will not want to slot backstabber for those encounters. I covered non-flanking CP as well in the CP section if ya need that. Hope that helps.
I have a question and it might be a dumb one. I'm new to this concept of "parses" and tracking damage, but I play on my PS5. Do you have to be on PC to get these add-ons and to be able to track and record damage output?
Wow you used a bunch of different gear setups. Was DV + Bahsei the damage ceiling for you? At first I had thought siro/bahse but maybe you miss too much crit chance with that setup.

Lol can’t answer the 2nd but the 1st question id probably gold out that 1st setup 1st. It’ll be more versatile and work in more content and the 2nd setup is more for trying to push out a little more dps for certain encounters
In group situations you have a lot better sustain that against the dummy. You get a lot more synergies, especially Necrotic Orbs. Hollowfang Orbs will likely also be present. Also make sure to get Medicinal Use maxed and use potions on cool down if you aren’t already.
I'm using this exact build, but with 5x mother's sorrow, Medusa jewelry and inferno staff, maelstrom inferno staff on backbar, and Magnus' Head/shoulders (untill I farm a decent monster head/shoulder), everything gold and maxed out, but I can't get above 40k dps on the dummy =/ I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
Now that DV doesn’t work as well on many classes, I’m thinking about running Bahsei/Medusa since I don’t want to deal with trap half the time and I feel like the wasted line of Minor Slayer sucks a bit, does that mathematically stand up this patch or if I’m in a stationary fight the Siroria stacks are still worth it?

I wouldn’t say a “requirement” but the amount of dps it does for something that you only have to cast once every 20s is really nice. Extremely high damage per cast. But you definitely don’t HAVE to run it. Just expect a little loss if u don’t. If you replace with an ability that is cast more than every 20s u have to think you are not only losing shade but another cast of something else that you’d have been able to cast in that 20s period

I noticed on both static and dynamic rotations we lead the pre buff with siphoning attacks but I'm not seeing it layered into the visuals of the two rotations, is it safe to assume the need to refresh will be every two rotations?
I didn’t need to refresh it at all. But if you do you will just replace one of your spammables with it . Edit: well i did on the magicka dump parse but I had enough sustain on the others to not refresh. but yeah, replace a spammable with it if you need more sustain. ideally not while in your incap 6s

DISCLAIMER: This comment is not meant to start any fights about who knows the game more or to throw any sort of shade at anyone. Do your builds typically assume your group is optimized for maximum damage? I’ve noticed quite big differences in yours and other guides such as Alcast. I just wondering what makes either one the “best”.
Neither is necessarily better than the other, there are so many different scenarios you could land yourself in with ESO. I try to give multiple options in my setup, so you'll see something alcast has w/ medusa+sorrow is also included in my gear setups as well. But I think Alcast is more focused toward a larger, more casual audience. which is great, nothing wrong with that. my builds do typically lean into an optimized raid scenario type of setting, but I always try and give alternate options/setups as well.

Hi Skinny Cheeks, was wondering if its viable to use mystic orb over degeneration? Since we have 100% uptime on major sorc from alchemy. I currently dont have the mystic orb morph so I don't know how much more dmg it does so was wondering if its worth using over degen. Also when someone explodes the orb, is it their dps or your dps that is boosted? Thanks.
shock ring hits a little harder but sap has a heal and is a little wider if you are in the middle of the pack. and sap is nice to have their for the passive 8% magicka boost
I'm kinda surprised Bahsei is performing its best with DV or Siroria and not with MoSo or Medusa. I would have thought not running a crit set would be a deal breaker for magblade, TiL...
Hi, what and how skill do u use to prog range supremacy? NB skills that progs have usually long durations. And the shade once it casted it progs both buffs, does shade reprog during the uptime? thanks
Section C doesn't account for siphoning attacks. So when I go up to that part I always do: la > siphoning > la > shade > la > barbed trap > weapon swap > la > spammable (if merc resolve is getting low, I'll cast it instead) > la > assassins will Should I keep that up, or is it not necessary to keep up?
@@skinnycheeks nice, that's good to know. I'm trapped in the 73-75k DPS range. I'm only missing 1-4 light attacks and am feeling really comfortable with rotation. I think that the biggest reason that it's not higher is that I'm not getting enough spammables in. Watching my timers can get finiky because of my connection though.
Hey can you please give my a alternative to diamond victory? I dont like use this set and and dungueons I dont like use siroria and bashey. If you can tell my the best option to use bashey and another set in dungueons pls I dont no if heartlander is a good option to nighblade . Very thanks

The crit is miniscule and the target dummy already has minor vuln applied to it, which leaves a weak dot that is better for aoe situations at most

you can but the issue is neither is great as a front bar set since you lose a big bonus everytime you swap to the backbar

Compared to what other setup? That combo is very good but it is not the highest potential dmg

You need pc to get a detailed report, yes. But any training dummy will tell you your DPS in chat after you are done, regardless of platform

Wow you used a bunch of different gear setups. Was DV + Bahsei the damage ceiling for you? At first I had thought siro/bahse but maybe you miss too much crit chance with that setup.
Siri/bahs should have the higher ceiling. I just didn’t get a good one with it.
Hey skinny cheeks i was doing some test on my magcro and bows on the front bar were pulling the same dps as the infernos have you done any test with this.

Lol can’t answer the 2nd but the 1st question id probably gold out that 1st setup 1st. It’ll be more versatile and work in more content and the 2nd setup is more for trying to push out a little more dps for certain encounters

In group situations you have a lot better sustain that against the dummy. You get a lot more synergies, especially Necrotic Orbs. Hollowfang Orbs will likely also be present.
Also make sure to get Medicinal Use maxed and use potions on cool down if you aren’t already.
Whats the difference between a stactic rotation and a dynamic rotation?
static repeats the same way over and over. dynamic adjusts on the fly based on each specific dot timer
I'm using this exact build, but with 5x mother's sorrow, Medusa jewelry and inferno staff, maelstrom inferno staff on backbar, and Magnus' Head/shoulders (untill I farm a decent monster head/shoulder), everything gold and maxed out, but I can't get above 40k dps on the dummy =/ I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

Doesn’t make a diff for pve bosses but it will stun when you have more than 120 ult. That’s when it turns green.
Now that DV doesn’t work as well on many classes, I’m thinking about running Bahsei/Medusa since I don’t want to deal with trap half the time and I feel like the wasted line of Minor Slayer sucks a bit, does that mathematically stand up this patch or if I’m in a stationary fight the Siroria stacks are still worth it?

I wouldn’t say a “requirement” but the amount of dps it does for something that you only have to cast once every 20s is really nice. Extremely high damage per cast. But you definitely don’t HAVE to run it. Just expect a little loss if u don’t. If you replace with an ability that is cast more than every 20s u have to think you are not only losing shade but another cast of something else that you’d have been able to cast in that 20s period

I noticed on both static and dynamic rotations we lead the pre buff with siphoning attacks but I'm not seeing it layered into the visuals of the two rotations, is it safe to assume the need to refresh will be every two rotations?
I didn’t need to refresh it at all. But if you do you will just replace one of your spammables with it . Edit: well i did on the magicka dump parse but I had enough sustain on the others to not refresh. but yeah, replace a spammable with it if you need more sustain. ideally not while in your incap 6s

Do your builds typically assume your group is optimized for maximum damage? I’ve noticed quite big differences in yours and other guides such as Alcast. I just wondering what makes either one the “best”.
Neither is necessarily better than the other, there are so many different scenarios you could land yourself in with ESO. I try to give multiple options in my setup, so you'll see something alcast has w/ medusa+sorrow is also included in my gear setups as well. But I think Alcast is more focused toward a larger, more casual audience. which is great, nothing wrong with that. my builds do typically lean into an optimized raid scenario type of setting, but I always try and give alternate options/setups as well.

Hi Skinny Cheeks, was wondering if its viable to use mystic orb over degeneration? Since we have 100% uptime on major sorc from alchemy. I currently dont have the mystic orb morph so I don't know how much more dmg it does so was wondering if its worth using over degen. Also when someone explodes the orb, is it their dps or your dps that is boosted? Thanks.

seem to do about the same damage. ele maybe ever so slightly more but concealed is a good bit cheaper
in aoe fights - are you spamming sap essence or shock ring? or like when do you switch from to the other?
shock ring hits a little harder but sap has a heal and is a little wider if you are in the middle of the pack. and sap is nice to have their for the passive 8% magicka boost

I'm kinda surprised Bahsei is performing its best with DV or Siroria and not with MoSo or Medusa. I would have thought not running a crit set would be a deal breaker for magblade, TiL...
Just kinda depends on the situation. Medusa paired with it is really really good for a lot of content

If you have daggers, the light attacks take care of it. If not, ele wpn or concealed wpn.

How come you are using diamond's victory over siroria in the top parse? Is it due to the 2,3,4 piece being more efficient or something else?
That’s just what gave me my top parse. Not saying that is the strongest

Section C doesn't account for siphoning attacks. So when I go up to that part I always do:
la > siphoning > la > shade > la > barbed trap > weapon swap > la > spammable (if merc resolve is getting low, I'll cast it instead) > la > assassins will
Should I keep that up, or is it not necessary to keep up?
I don't continue to cast siphoning unless I need the sustain help
@@skinnycheeks nice, that's good to know. I'm trapped in the 73-75k DPS range. I'm only missing 1-4 light attacks and am feeling really comfortable with rotation. I think that the biggest reason that it's not higher is that I'm not getting enough spammables in. Watching my timers can get finiky because of my connection though.
