weren't Logitech Z625 released in 2017 ?? maybe you have been having a previous model for 15 years, but not this one? even the Logitech Z623 Speaker System was released in 2010...
Thanks for the review, there are tonnes of reviews of this already, but it's great to see that even in 2022 it still holds it own. I'm buying some tomorrow! Cheers
I just bought this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it!. . Sharp and bassy, fills my horse transport 🚚 I live in really beautifully!. I hope it lasts for many years 🙏
1:27 If you have the optical connection, you definitely have to use it rather than regular aux-in jack. I used it on TV and the sound produced is crystal clear so much better than normal jack.
Great review I am buying these tomorrow to replace my klipsch promedia 2.1 but only because you can't turn those off at all they stay on at all time and draw 16 watts of power not cool to me but the sound is really good
About five or so years ago, I bought these. Loved them! This is in the days before Bluetooth speakers I guess. I broke one of the cables and it didn’t work unless I pressed the speaker and the cord against the wall (like one would with a phone charger). I use the Logitech ZF407 bluetooth speakers, but I think they’re blown. I’m going to go back to the OG Z625 and connect a Logitech Bluetooth adaptor to it.
ive been using these for at least 10 years. ive purchased 7 different sets in that time for different rooms/tv's/setups. Nothing beats these. ive tried $800+ speakers and sound bars and they all suck. always sounds muffled in the vocals. these should cost many times more in my opinion.
love this series of speakers. Logitech should marketed for them to be tv speakers upgrade also. It replaces stereos, plug in bluetooth speakers, smart speakers and trash tv speakers or some soundbars. it's not audiophile but you can't beat its value. 9/10. Connect these to a echo or bluetooth receiver or old stereo unit.
I love mine!! Got them 5 years ago and i LOVE them! I took apart the sub and put the sub in a 4th order and man it shakes my whole house all from that tiny sub! These are amazing.
I am listen to this video in those exact speakers. Spooky. But i have to say, those speakers are probably out there with the best of them, i do not regret buying those. On max blast with the bass max up i can feel the music in my balls...
Depends on what your sound card DAC supports. And the Nyquist Theorem says we can't hear any audible difference between Hi-res and CD 16bit 44.1Khz. But if you have audio content like Amazon Music Unlimited, 24bit 192Khz output in shared mode is all you need. Anything beyond is a waste of processing power unless you're actually recording and mixing.
@ItstheDaveShow1 no worries, I think the main difference is the optical input. Other than that, all the specs I have found are the same. Naybe a little revision like a face-lift middle on a car like a mk2 then a 2.5. X
This is indeed a very good quality speaker. However, for the last 17 years I used to heard from Altec Lansing Octane 7, I have to say that Altech has a clearer sound than this Z625. Unfortunately after 17 years of use it died and I have a problem to get Altec, so I decided to buy this Z625.
I have a Altec Lansing ATP3 and been using it since 2003. Still rocking. The 3.5mm stereo jack is a bit loose. But the sound still superb. I've been eyeing the reviewed model Z625 for quite some time. Hopefully, my current Altec Lansing will last for few years more.
Metalhead here, yes, these speakers (and awesome subwoofer) bleed metal! Even old songs sound new. Not better than a concert of course, but the prices is awesome and the sound even better. W(`0`)W
bummer, I got the Z623 400W instead, the box had everything except they forgot the optical cable, so I am stuck with the green pc speaker wire. this is fine with me because my sub box does not have an optical input jack.
if you plug in headphones, they will play, I think if you use the aux plug in when you play that device it will play, otherwise plugged into the computer it plays that device
I wonder if this speaker revision still melts cables. I have the original z625 non-optical version that I've had for about 10 years now and the cables melt off from the speakers and leave a very sticky mess. I'm not sure what cause that, maybe bad power management in the speakers where it gets too hot or I leave them on 24/7 causing them to overheat but I've never seen this issue on any speaker before
I'm DIY guy. Those Logitech speakers sounds bad, especially satellites. those probably can play somewhere between 150hz to 10khz. leaving a gap between sub and satellites and not playing well up to 20khz. At least price is reasonable.
I haven't had any issues at all with mine, i think they are great, now yes they are not super high professional theater sound kind of speakers but as you said, the price is decent.
Bro if you notice any difference in sound quality & bass in z623 , or z625. ?????? Please tell me Z623 produce better bass than z625 ?? Who is better🤔🤔
still really good, I use them everyday. I video edit and watch movies and stuff on my computers so my speakers are always in use. Great sounds with movies and stuff. love it
@@Handlethatineedtouse Yeah, well at least on bass test or bass boosted music it can easily shake your "house" lol it's a very powerful and well designed subwoofer and can take the heat easily, on the regular uses well it can but you would need very high volume to bring a very loud bass and high frequencies at that point in mix would be probably obnoxiously high.
@@davolthe1261 one more question if I can smell it should I turn it down I just got it about 2 days ago but I can smell it sometimes even when no music is playing is that bad?
I got my system about... 8 years back, I think? I dunno if it's just me, or if I've just listened to better devices recently, but I think it's starting to sound worse. Like, it really sounds like it's missing depth and like things are more distorted and boxy.
