the edifier has alot more clear sound but the logtech has deeper sound and louder almost and more bass to it, but if you are out for a good clear sounding speaker go for the edifier
I recently sent my Logitech Z625 THX (exactly the same as Z623 only with an Optical option) the left speaker started to give crackling which is a very known issue with the Z623/625 series and Logitech has never fixed it. Some users even got the same issue in the new units they received after replacements so I guess it's best to spend more and get fine-built speakers like the S350DB that has Class D Amplification, premium materials, a knob to set Treble levels, Bluetooth connectivity out of the box, and last but not least a remote control (though it lacks the buttons for Treble and Bass). 8 years ago I bought Edifier C1 2.1ch sound system for my PC although it's a very basic sound system it has never given any issues while the Logitech's speaker gave up on me just after 3 months so there is definitely a difference when it comes to built quality.
Let’s be honest, one is double the price of the other but I don’t think the point of the video is to showcase which is better. I believe it showcases the massive value the Logitech speakers offer in terms of pricing.
Amigo... Logitech is so stupid product for guys which dont know what the music is... today to everybody bass is the benchmark. Logitech is absolute sh*it with no definition, no clarity, no soundstage.
@@AD-jd8is their bass performance is outstanding. Especially if you compare it with a JBL bar 5.1 worth 700$,or the Polk audio magnifi max,or any systems under 1000$,the z623 easily outperforms them. Anybody who's preference is non audiophile rumbling lows definitely choose the Logitechs anytime anyday. True music lovers or audiophiles get rid of the Logitechs, and that's a fact. For musics and games, and songs with insane lows, the Logitechs are a treat.
My experience with the Z906 (also THX certified) and most Logitech sound products I've tried is that they *don't* sound like the original track using headphones, they usually spread the lows and highs more than other speakers despite not having formal bass/twitter set-ups per baffle; this is good if you want to have that sweet and crisp contrast of sounds, but probably bad if you're looking to accentuate or improve the mid-ranges. In any case, a THX certification means they passed the accuracy test, so if you're aiming to listen to media the way the authors intended, this is probably the better option.
Check out my written comparison between Edifier Z623 and Logitech Z623 here: digitalstereophony.blogspot.com/2019/05/logitech-z623-or-edifier-s350db-which.html What do You think? Which one would You choose and why? Let me know in the comments below! Cheers!
Thank you for great content - its very helpful! Could you make a comparison between Edifier S3000 Pro and Klipsh The Sixes - similar class and similar price - I think it would be interesting for your audience!
I think the S350DB is suitable for music. But I think the Z623 is suitable for movies. Because S350DB cannot produce strong explosion or thunder sound as powerful as Z623.
If you think of Logitechs bad quality with the electric components, they will be after years much more expensive than the Edifiers, because you will have to replace them every few years.
In my opinion the speaker edifier of each series rarely disappoints. Example logitech z523 middle and high notes are destroyed, altec Lansing vs4621 bass is destroyed and the mid & high volumes are too small. and edifier s350db is the most convenient and does not harm the money I pay.
Much awaited comparison! I have the Logitech Z-623 paired with an Edifier R1280T. The question here is, the Logitech in no way would match up to Edifiers' Mids and Highs but what about the bass? Why did it seem weaker in comparison to the Logitech?
Bass of S350DB is higher quality than in Z623, it integrates better with satellites, is tighter and punch harder when asked for, plus it reaches deeper. Both sets of speakers where recorded with bass setting at "0" or neutral and in this setting Z623 has more bass, but You can easily boost the bass of S350DB to same levels of quantity and it will still sound tighter and integrate better.
Bass tests are gone for now because they where not very "scientific" , too much room dependance. It may come back in the future in slightly different form though
Love the logitech, but it needed a tweeter to take some load off of the full range drivers, for me i used a two way crossover with a pair of nice tweets, made me alot happier, the low end is more than enough for my taste
could you please be specific what did you use with your z623? I mean how you connected it to z623.. I also own these speakers and disappointed with high freq notes..
Did u use capacitor with it? If yes then what capacitor u used, And what's the output of your tweeters I wanna know. I Want to crossover two Horn tweeters with then, I am having trouble with right speaker because the control and the amp getting low frequencies.
IIRC، i used some 1 inch dome tweeters, with some crossover from a car component speaker set. I also poly filled the enclosure and tried to stick some dampening material as the enclosure resonated abit.
I just lost my Logitech Z906 because something inside the subwoofer exploded and there was a chemical smell coming out from it. Looked for similar replacement but it's out of stock everywhere here. I'm now considering of buying Z623 or Z625, thank you for this video.
I have the Edifier S1000DB's paired with a Polk Audio Sub for my desktop computer. I also have the Logitech Z625 in my living room TV. Of course the Edifier system sounds much better but the Z625 does a great job on the TV. It's hard to beat for $130.
My Altec Lansing CS21 is nearing the end of its life. After over 8 years ( i already forgotten when i bought it ). More than 8 years of heavy metal songs and action movies plus my constant pc gaming. The CS21 is already auto shutting down and will just switch on by itself but this speaker still sounds very good. Anyway i just bought what i consider to be the fitting successor to my CS21 which is the Logitech Z625. i have not unbox it yet as the CS21 is still clinging to its last remaining life, which i will never throw away but instead will be included in my storage of the things that was part of my life. BTW those edifier and the Z623 tested for me are equally good.
@@efrainSRT Logitech's bass is not better (boomy and ratling subwoofer, with slow driver and poorly maded cabinet). Bass knob on Edifier is set to the middle point - "0" (same goes to trebble knob). Considering that and those fact that author of this channel is not a pro audio guy and did this comparsions in not enough prepared room without proper mics, etc. - no wonder some people can't hear the difference (especially the deaf ones, who watch this comparsions on crappy little PC-speakers, smartphones, cheap crappy headphones, etc.)
@@PPRKUT88 Yea I can see you just insult people, go f yourself. Logitech is amazing for the price. You just have a belief that you always have to go 2.0 instead of 2.1 or 5.1 out of the box which is dumb.
Please do some of these in the future without showing which speakers are on, or mix them up a bit and only show the results at the end. Not saying there's no diff, but people often hear/see what they want to, based on belief, expectation, or justification.. Similar to cams/prints :)
@@mansuriaftab4850 mine 6-7 years. Still going strong. Just the bass sometimes missing. Need to full blast the speaker for a sec then only the bass alive again
I heard ppl saying that the logitech won't last long My logitech is still banging fine even after all these years And i have been abusing the life out of that little sub
1) i'm wondering what speaker was used to play the "Original Track" ? Clarity and wider spectrum all top notch! 2) the thing that i don't like with most of the logitech speakers , vocal always sound like someone singing or talking thru a plastic cone or something.
1) Clever :) I see your sarcasm. 2) It's obvious, cause most of Logitech speakers made out of plastic. In Some of their models they used MDF (but it's low/mid quality one). Some of their models don't have HF-driver, just single "full range" driver (mostly, if not always - small one).
Even in their plastic shells with just one driver instead of 2 the Logitech do a fine job. But they just cant compete with what i would call real speakers like the Edifier's here.
I had that Logitech 2.1 setup, that subwoofer would rattle all the windows... ALL OF THEM!!!! I'm a basshead and it was seriously waaayyy too much bass for that setup. The small speakers were anemic and then you just had this thunderous roar from the sub, it never paired well no matter how much you turned it down.
Edifier S350DB is more of a Audiofile grade, very nice balanced for music listening and cost 3 time more, z623 has more deep Bass, better for movies and gaming, im Bass lover so i keep my z623, got 3 of this babies hooked up together loving them every day !!!!
Edifier S350DB sounds like shit in Rock music but overall u r right. I don't get why all these fools put Edifier S350DB like the best thing that ever came out.
If You are a bass lover than You shoul aim for good quality bass and S350DB has better quality bass than Z623. You hear that Z623 has more bass because in neutral bass settings (that is how I record it, always in neutral settings) Z623 has boosted bass already. You can also boost the levels of bass in S350DB and it will be same in quantity but of higher quality still. S350DB raches deeper in real life and punches harder when watching movies as well. Do not get me wrong, Z623 is not bad system for what it is, but S350DB is better in every way IMO
With cheap speakers you cant hear the difference. In reallife you will hear it even more. Maybe the Logitech have a good price for 2.1, but you would get much better 2.0 systems for the price. Also Logitech will not last long, which makes it much more expensive than it looks first.
For example: Mackie CR4, Presonus E3.5, Wavemaster cube mini neo, Edifier R1280DB. And then you have low priced hifi and no Logitech plastic trash with cheap electrics.
I have a little bit older Z system but its pretty much the same. But i do think the sub compensates the lack of midtones in the normal speakers. And i feel like some music the middle is lacking. It's either pretty high or low tones, but the mid ones are not really there? I think because the drivers are pretty tiny, and if you turn the sub of the speakers sound really weak.
Quite a comparison considering the price difference. I gueas with the Edifier you're paying for a more transparent sound especially in the bass range as it seems less boomy and colours the sound less than the Logitech. So if creator's intent is your priority you pay the premium.

The Edifier S350 sound great the Logitech doesn't sound sooo bad but way worse than the Edifier. If the price difference is as much as some are saying then fine. But throw tha Logitech to the trash anyway!!
k the Edifier s350 cost 299$ the Logitech z623 cost 90$, to a person perspective to that value. Its definitely a steal! because the logitech z623 is the only 2.1 system that has bumping bass less than 100$ *for a beginner finding audio, its not bad for its price!
@@AsianJBlazian Well, first about the value, yes, that's what I said. But then about the sound quality and price...eeeh I don't think that Logitech is the only 2.1 system with "bumping bass" for less than $100. And if "bumping bass" is what's important then any other bad 2.1 speakers with strong bass is good enough. No, what's important is ALL the audio quality: freq responce, audio fidelity/definition, coloration, etc, etc. This Logitech model is "purposely bad" as they only put a big wide spectrum speaker in the "satellites", wich always sound lacking, instead of a mid range plus a tweeter, at least a cheap one. There's a new cheaper Edifier model that have that same configuration and sounds really bad too, in comparisson at least.
@@Fergutor Well the bass response on the logitech speakers are overwhelmingly deep for its size, it is very clean too. and yes everyone says the sateites are bad because theirs no tweeter. But with the magic of eq, they will sound much better. Like Bose for Example, there trick for making there speakers sound really good is heavy modifications on eq. and there is a reason why audiophiles dont like bose. but in conclusion Logitech isnt always as bad, you cant beat em for there price range.
@@AsianJBlazian Yes I know about equalization from factory, see the Mackies and similar "monitors" all equalized by dsp...Even in the newer Edifiers. Heck every self powered or active speaker manufacturer is doing it. But that's not enough if you lack a proper speaker, becasue of freq response and ability to present higher than specs frequencies with detail, and when you're using the same speaker for too many frequencies. About the bass, you know is more complicated than that. There has to be a quality in it, if was as simple as deep or strong then Sony speakers would be regarded as the best. But everyone knows they suck for many reasons. You say it's clean, well it could be, but is that enough?
I was thinking of upgrading from the Z623 to the S350DB but I'm nopt really convinced of the upgrade, I can tell the S350DB does sound more clear and the Z623 a little more distorted but it does also seem to have more powerful bass so in terms of price/quality I'm not really sure, I will keep looking.
@@thethiagosc logitech's is a boomy shitbox (which is made out of pressed flakes) that resonates the shit out of itself. logitech's driver is also slow, that's why is not ok with music. With games and maybe movies - meh, probably do the work, stupid kids will eat it. At the higher volumes logitech's subwoofer is chocking, audiosignal is pretty much distorted. Edifier is absolute superior here. Speaking of subwoofer - it's fast, punchy, great for music. And what's great for music - great for anything else. Even at high volumes it works nice and clean. There is nothing neutral in logitech subwoofer or speakers - believe me, I've heard a shitload of speakers, including many of this desktop speakers aka Logitech, Creative. Also, author of this channel mentioned that all the knobs on both systems was set at "0" and logitech's sub at this point already feels like it boosted.
This is an unfair test. Why didn't you use the Edifier M3600D (THX certified) ?? They are almost copies of the Logitech z623. I think the S3500DB is much clearer than the Logitechs. BUT, try the $110 Edifier M3600 -- they're meant as direct competition to the Logitechs and they kinda suck. Edifier even used that strange Z623 right speaker VGA cable for the M3600.
Recently upgraded from the z623 to the edifier s351(black version), while the z623 are nice and flat, the edifier are a different league, but you must use anglers for the satellite, otherwise the sound is quite muffled.
Hey do you happen to have a second to give me an update on how well these are performing in comparison to the z623? I am looking to go from z623 to s350db as well but I’m wondering if it’s worth it or if the difference is just marginal (like 5-10%)
@@PENDANTturnips not worth the update....it is a marginal update. Only on high volumes the Edifier shines has it seems to be clearer with lower distortion. The Logitech is flatter, while the Edifier has more treble to it sound signature.
I used to have the Z625s and the peaky treble used to give me headaches, the bass was prominent and "impressive" but overpowering, imprecise and muddy sounding. I started just using my Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilees with a Fiio K3 DAC 24/7 instead of using those speakers, and the clarity and accuracy of the Sennheiser headphones left me wanting more out of a speaker system so I could enjoy music out loud without a severely diminished midrange and awful peaky treble that is fatiguing after a while like with the Z625s; I don't even know how it managed to be so grindingly peaky without even having clarity in the highs and without dedicated tweeters, the highs are lacking clarity whilst also being incredibly piercing?? It's weird, and it sounds awful. I eventually went for the S350DBs after having a good experience with the 1700s. I can tell you that this comparison doesn't do the S350DBs justice at all, the gap in quality in person between these two speaker systems is night and day. Imaging is fantastic, it has the midrange and clarity in the highs that are sorely missing from the Z625s, and the bass is more punchy and clear. It's not *less* bass, it just sounds more accurate and not muddy and overpowering. The imaging and soundstage are far superior too but I've noticed they are very directional, so it's optimal to have the speakers tilted towards seating position and on ear level. I've gave away the Logitech speakers to my sister and I won't miss them. Considering my experience with both of these systems, this comparison seems useless. The S350DBs sound hollow, whilst playing on S350DBs, or my headphones. Gives the illusion that the Logitechs are somehow better than they really are. Calls into question what the point of these comparisons is if they are obviously limited in ways via recording, uploading, listening devices, etc? These are obviously not accurate comparisons and the only way to really experience the difference is to hear these systems in person.
if only logitech had a better crossovers, safety features like over current protection or clipping protection and a amplifier that matches the speakers rated wattage, i would probably want them even more, as much as i like them, the quality control on the z623 is kinda bad
The subwoofers dont differ too much, because the Edifiers Sub is not the best and the Logitechs either of course. The big difference are the sattelites. This is where Logitech fucks totally up. Bad treble and mids like a plastic can like everything from Logitech. Of course there is a price difference, but you get not just way better sound, also much more quality with the Edifiers, not just optics, also the electric components.
Edifier's subs (besides of speakers and electronics in whole system, of course) is way better than Logitech's. You just don't listen both in person. Logitech's sub is shitbox that was made out of shittiest quality MDF, speaker itself is shitty too. Finally, since Logitech's sub is bad production - hamsters thinks that it has a good bass like it shaking their rooms and stuff but in reality this shitbox just resonating the shit out of himself and everything around may ringing. As owner of S351DB I'm proudly say that Edifier's sub is pretty good and it's way better than any of Logitech's.
@@PPRKUT88 you dont know what you say. Logitech have more power in bass and they cost cheaper like edifier and yeah, edifier are expensive just because of good materials and "not plastic" the sound is a bit more clear on edifier speakers but not very much, 2% more, you're just stupid, logitech have also good quality with that plastic
Logitech Z623 = compliments each others well and clear with harmonizes in most all creates a “live” sounds Edifier S350 = clear and a little bit plain when it comes to mid and low range
I agree. I've been so tempted to get the Edifier S350 but I currently have the Logitech Z623 and can't say I'm unhappy. 119$ logitech, 299$ Edifier. With my budget now it was a pretty easy decision. When things change I might get the S350 or possibly something else by Edifier but right now I just need to be happy with what I have.
Listen to both on a good system and you'll wonder 'where the fuck are the mids?!'... The Logitech is the worse of the two, but both are missing a fairly big chunk around the crossover between the subwoofer (if it can be called such, as high as it's forced to play) and the satellites.
@@mcspooney Proper advice takes more space than fits in a youtube comment section, lol. Personally I'm into 2.0 systems if you have the space on your desk. Then again I rent an apartment, so a proper subwoofer (12", plays down to 20Hz or so undistorted) would only piss off my neighbors. If you have the space and the budget, the Nubert nuPro X-4000 RC look pretty damn tempting. Personally I have a pair of old (but far from bad) Canton CT-800 running off a stereo amp. That takes a very large desk to pull off, though.
Honestly Logitech Z625 sounds great for the price but that goddamn plastic build ! If you can spend 100$ go for the Edifier it's absolutely worth it. I own both of them.
@@jasonfabish5820 Well my suggestion would be stick with your Z623 until it starts malfunctioning. There is a noticeable difference in both build quality and audio quality but still you know enjoy your Z623 for few more months or even years when it dies then this should be your upgrade.
@@kosteaproduction Bass is punchy unlike logitech which had a wider range. The game changer for me is the active bookshelf speakers itself in Edifier they sound way natural and crispier than the Logitech also not to forget mentioning the build quality it's twice stronger than the Logitech in my opinion. Guys you need to compare the speaker against the sound track not vs each other. You are looking for accurate representation of the original track. You can then bump bass and treble to your liking.
Sounds to me like the sub of the Logitech mixed with the satellites of the edifier would be a great combo, or some other merging of the two. I personally overall prefer the logi sound in this video, but some improvements on the high end from edi would be nice upgrades. Perhaps edi should sell a unit like this with a more powerful sub and program around that.

02:01 based of that sound clarity over the other, and i dont even like that music, i just stopped right there and make this comment. i wil buy the edifier tomorrow at 295 euro verry nice comparisons. s350 vs bose was easy winner for s350 this one was close, but no cigar for z623
I own both of this speakers, edifier does great in mids and highs, but for the bass Logitech is way more better considering its price range. Power efficiency also logitech at standby only consume .5-1 watt while edifier consumes more power about 5-7watts. Consider buying 2 Logitech z623👍

Z625, as all of logitech speakers - just plastic garbage. Klipcsh ProMedia 2.1 is obviously is not that good choise cause it's also just a "PC speakers", mainly for games, movies, background listening of music. You can't enjoy music on this speakers as you can enjoy it on s350db, cause it's a different league. As owner of S351DB I highly recommend you to choose S350DB/S351DB.
Good ol muffled Logitech’s just sounding muffled as always. I just picked up a z5500. If it’s sound was a physical object pudding would have come gushing out of those satellites. Still waiting for my edifiers

Hi DS! I have a friend with z623, but know one of the satellites is broken. The subwoofer from s350db is much bigger than z634 subwoofer? He only can have a subwoofer from the size of z623. I want to give him a set of speakers. What do you think? Edifier s350db or edifier r1850db and he can use with logitech z623 subwoofer?
Sub from S350DB is about the same overall size but a bit different shape, check the specs to make sure it will fit. I would certainly go straight to S350DB, connecting R1850DB with z623s sub is not very good idea IMO
Hi Miguel , sorry for the interrupt , i have seen you commenting on various digital stereophony videos ( of which i am fan of as well !! ) about edifier speakers and i wanted to ask some questions specifically for the S2000 PRO model if you dont mind since i saw that you have some experience with them. My main listening genre is hard rock/metal/extreme metal and i was wondering if you have tested theese speakers on lets say a a bit harsh low production recordings to see if they are any forgiving leaning on a Hi-Fi sound or if they shove it to your face leaning on a studio-monitor sound. Also i have heard that their bass can reach pretty low thus not needing a subwoofer but is it any punchy? meaning if you feel it on your chest etc . I am also planning to use them with a turntable ( project debut carbon ) but as far as digital goes i would be using them on my PC for multimedia purposes (gaming/movies/music ) so im kind of looking for a jack of all trades speakers , i dont expect any miracles just a decent sounding system with some bass to feel . Another problem is that i currently live in a very small rat hole room like 10 square feet and i was wondering if that could have a big negative impact on the sound . I would be really grateful if you could find some time and tell me your opinion because im on the fence about buying them but i still have some doubts since i consider it a big investment ( for my budget ) . Thanks !
@@bloodbathory5624 Hi! I have s2000pro and they are pretty good. Usually i don't listen hard rock/metal/extreme metal, so i can't answer that. I will not have problems with the bass and is very punchy and you can feel in your chest. You can use them in small and large rooms, but they work better in small-medium size rooms. In low volume in a small room, they reproduce a sound very close to you. My problems with s2000pro are in high volume. They are loud, but i can feel that they are in effort. By the way, i have a turntable hooked up with them, but the volume is lower than usual with my turntable. If you have more questions, you can ask anytime :)
@@miguelmanuel9618 Hey miguel , thanks for the quick and detailed answer!!! When you say that on low production recordings, they reproduce a sound very raw , do you mean that they reproduce a very revealing and accurate/flat sound thus exposing the low production faults to your ears without mercy (like a professional studio monitor speaker does ) even with dynamic mode and treble/bass adjustments? ( Meaning that for example a 90's cassete demo recording will sound like shit lol :P ) . Also i wanted to ask you , are you happy with their performance on a turntable , is it equally good with digital sound sources reproduction ? I dont care that much about high volume to be honest as i rarely listen to music above 50% volume level ( mostly 20-40% so that i dont disturb my surroundings) , so a lower volume is definately not a problem for me , i mostly care about the quality of the sound . That would be all man , if you can find some time i would be grateful to listen to your opinion , Thanks !
The Z623 is in all ways worse than the Z-2300. It's nothing but a long list of cost saving measures. And yes, there's a big chunk of frequencies around the crossover between subwoofer (more like midwoofer) and the satellites that's just plain MIA.
To much fart bass in both sets, but Edifier play more flat and clear, Logitech - more bum box effect, more deep bass(not very good anyway for sub). To listen to music prefer stereo, but for money Edifier wins.

Dunno, brother has z623 for 10-11 years and left speaker has no issues
Let’s be honest, one is double the price of the other but I don’t think the point of the video is to showcase which is better. I believe it showcases the massive value the Logitech speakers offer in terms of pricing.

For musics and games, and songs with insane lows, the Logitechs are a treat.
I think the only difference is the mid range on the edifier, vs. a standard center channel drivers on the logitech
the edifiers also have much better highs, since the logitech one doesn't have any tweeters.
Edifier more neutral (Hi Fidelity)
Yes!

If you think of Logitechs bad quality with the electric components, they will be after years much more expensive than the Edifiers, because you will have to replace them every few years.

Logitech Z623 vs Edifier M3600D please

Listen to both on a good system and you'll wonder 'where the fuck are the mids?!'... The Logitech is the worse of the two, but both are missing a fairly big chunk around the crossover between the subwoofer (if it can be called such, as high as it's forced to play) and the satellites.

Honestly Logitech Z625 sounds great for the price but that goddamn plastic build ! If you can spend 100$ go for the Edifier it's absolutely worth it. I own both of them.
I'm thinking of replacing my z623 with the edifier, just not sure if its worth it 🤔
@@jasonfabish5820 Well my suggestion would be stick with your Z623 until it starts malfunctioning. There is a noticeable difference in both build quality and audio quality but still you know enjoy your Z623 for few more months or even years when it dies then this should be your upgrade.
@@nandhagopal8519 how's the bass on edifier compared to logitech?
@@kosteaproduction Bass is punchy unlike logitech which had a wider range. The game changer for me is the active bookshelf speakers itself in Edifier they sound way natural and crispier than the Logitech also not to forget mentioning the build quality it's twice stronger than the Logitech in my opinion. I'm planning to buy a Dac for mine (Earmen Dac).
Love to hear an s350db and m3600d comparison. Thanks

Logitech is good for the price, but the s350db is still the BEST 2.1 reviewed here imho
Those are the logitech Z625 !!
not Z623.
You can see this because the 623 has the older logo and the Z625 has the new logitech logo
My z623 looks exactly the same as the ones in the video.
They still make both, the only difference is the Z625 has an optical output. Same look.
I can still hear the difference, checked specs and I was right.
bought the logitech. its honestly insane
Does it have low bass?
Plastic insane :)
Edifier is flat, Z623 is boosted on the low mid and has a cut on the high frequencies. If you can afford Edifier go for it.
Whats the meaning of flat? Is it good?
@@bsyoutube2649 Close to watch the Music Producers listens to while he made that song.
Every frequency is balanced, Bass doesn't over power the high or mid, everything is in Harmony. GOOD in short.
But some people like more bass. So its subjective.
Edifier sounds better than the original 😊
I think, logitec bass is more punchy, but edifier is more consistent. Speaking about mid voice and highs, edifier is so much better.
Guys you need to compare the speaker against the sound track not vs each other. You are looking for accurate representation of the original track. You can then bump bass and treble to your liking.
Edifier sounds more realistic and original.
I have the z623 and the sub woofer sounds like shit on certain songs. I listed to I miss my homies by master p past 75 percent volume and the sub would cut out…
Compare Edifier S350DB with Microlab Solo 9c.
hows the bass on edifier s350? I am returning my newly purchased s880db because I disliked the lack of bass
I originally have the klipsch 2.1 promedia
how logitech have THX certification if it doesn't even have tweeters? lots of highs being lost in quality, or i'm wrong?
maybe logitech wold be good for home cinema. it seems the logitech has a flatter bass response
Yes, the logitechs feel like a live performance (THX tuning I guess).
THX porpuses
Edifier wins by a long shot!
just got a set of Edifier S350DB's after blowing out my Logitech Z623's drivers, I'm sending them back, terrible at volume, bass is less punchy than the Z623's and just as anemic in the low lows
Z623's were great, I really liked them as a system. but I think I'm going to have a go at building a custom Hi-Fi
02:01
based of that sound clarity over the other, and i dont even like that music, i just stopped right there and make this comment.
i wil buy the edifier tomorrow at 295 euro
verry nice comparisons.
s350 vs bose was easy winner for s350
this one was close, but no cigar for z623
could you maybe do the s350db against the r1280db even tho there not reaky same class still wondering
Hmmm I just feel Edifier sound tighter overall.

@@romanrusin2557 Hi👋 does that mean z623 is better than Edifier s350db?
Z623 bass and edifier akustika 👍
I own both of this speakers, edifier does great in mids and highs, but for the bass Logitech is way more better considering its price range. Power efficiency also logitech at standby only consume .5-1 watt while edifier consumes more power about 5-7watts. Consider buying 2 Logitech z623👍
Danke, ich habe es mir angehört weil ich gerade ein Logitech-System bestellt habe. In Anbetracht der preislichen Differenz habe ich wohl alles richtig gemacht.
Very hard to tell, I am between the Logitech Z625, Kilpsh ProMedia 2.1 and the Edifier S350DB to listen only to Music... any suggestions? I have extremely Highend speakers, I just want a cool PC/Desktop speakers that can represent the average consumer listening experience
Edifier by far. Real Audiophile sounds.
Good ol muffled Logitech’s just sounding muffled as always. I just picked up a z5500. If it’s sound was a physical object pudding would have come gushing out of those satellites. Still waiting for my edifiers
I still got my z5500 logitech speakers after 10years of use i definitely got my moneys worth from them but my replacement edifier s3000pro speakers sound so much better than my old logic techs.plus its got blue tooth 5.
can somebody tell me which artist that played "Man on Fire"??
Edifier ✌️🔥
As a Z5500 owner I say I haven't heard anything in this comparison.
single-way speakers can't play better than two-way speakers...
Where's 150-250hz??
the huge difference to me to is the voice on the edifiers sound a lot more like a voice
Very good comaprison video, great job!
Edifier на рынке мультимедийной акустики сейчас лидер похоже.

@@DSAUDIOreview Thank you for your help :)
About low production recordings, they reproduce a sound very raw. The bass is very good, specially on dynamic mode.
When you say that on low production recordings, they reproduce a sound very raw , do you mean that they
reproduce a very revealing and accurate/flat sound thus exposing the low production faults to your ears without mercy (like a professional studio monitor speaker does ) even with dynamic mode and treble/bass adjustments? ( Meaning that for example a 90's cassete demo recording will sound like shit lol :P ) . Also i wanted to ask you , are you happy with their performance on a turntable , is it equally good with digital sound sources reproduction ? I dont care that much about high volume to be honest as i rarely listen to music above 50% volume level ( mostly 20-40% so that i dont disturb my surroundings) , so a lower volume is definately not a problem for me , i mostly care about the quality of the sound . That would be all man , if you can find some time i would be grateful to listen to your opinion , Thanks !

How can u compare which is better when listening through shitty speakers???
That's exactly what i was thinking.
is z623 still lack of treble like z2300? i'm thinking about to get one for gaming purposes
The Z623 is in all ways worse than the Z-2300. It's nothing but a long list of cost saving measures. And yes, there's a big chunk of frequencies around the crossover between subwoofer (more like midwoofer) and the satellites that's just plain MIA.
Edifier s350db vs Logitech z2300 which one's has more bass..?
To much fart bass in both sets, but Edifier play more flat and clear, Logitech - more bum box effect, more deep bass(not very good anyway for sub). To listen to music prefer stereo, but for money Edifier wins.
Could you compare audio monitor bx2 with edifier, logitec and yamaha please
