I love this conversation because we all need community and friends that don’t judge but were we can be ourselves, wherever that is and were we can all sharpen each other.

For me as I start walking with God I was a full time model and little by little God was pulling me out of that world. He didn't want me in that world because it was a very self destructive world for me. And I'm glad he did!
Seek Christ for strength to practice spiritual disciplines, practice meditating and memorizing scripture, silence & solitude-pray, pray scripture, fast, praise & worship, always thank God, serve others, be a good steward-discipline/confession, discipleship, learn-listen in fellowship community. Love everyone.
1 Timothy 4:7-8
“But reject irreverent, silly myths. Instead, train yourself for godliness.
For physical exercise is of limited value, but godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for the present life and for the one to come”
Answer: Because they are trying to live as "Christians" rather than living under God's Kingdom principles universally and separately within their individual, Annoiting. If you don't know what this means, this is what you MUST learn.
This is so on point with today's culture. It's been heavy on my mind lately. Holy Spirit just confirmed I'm not the only one thinking it.

Amen. This was encouraging and spoke straight to me. I'm a creative and many times I've felt conflicted and sometimes convicted on some of the spaces I've been in and even the people I've called friends. I continue to ask The Holy Spirit to guide me and also I ask God for Kingdom minded friends and associates 🙏🏿

I have a question that I would love you ladies to discuss, I've put it in multiple forms but its basically the same thing; How can I seek the will of God for my life and and still follow my free will/ How can I follow my free will without resisting the will of God/ How does the will of God and free will coexist in one person? This conservations are really transforming my life, I love how the Holy Spirit takes over and you all just end up flowing, it is amazing. I love you all💓.
Luke 17:33 Jesus says “Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.” Because of God’s love, we never lose our free will. If we did it would be control and not love. The beauty in relationship is free will allows you to do certain things for personal gain but when we submit to the will of God it brings glory to God, will it help you, and it helps someone else. I know it’s a lot of information at once but at the end of the day you can’t follow your free will because your free will would lead to death, but God honors that we have the choice to love and follow him and in return, we have the gift of life.

@pfunzomakhavhu220 Dear, your will has to die every single day, you have to be very intentional about that. Your will is not all knowing and has high thoughts about you but Jesus does. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these other things will be added onto you. God's will is far more greater, wiser, loving and caring. Besides, are you not exhausted trying to live this life on your own terms 😢.

Thank you guys for making me not so alone in this world during my isolation season. Thank you God for always believing in all of your children in every season they are in. I know this isolation seasons feel so lonely but it’s just part of the process to where you are sharpening us to be more like you.

Im in agreement with that prayer, I need it. There were a lot of people including family and even parents that I knew wasn’t well for my well being. I had to separate myself from and or limit the time spent/access to me. Im never lonely but I am ready for my tribe, Lord God send them and help me to have the heart to see that they are sent from you, Amen.

I think it is important for us to understand that not everything in the world is from God. God himself says we must not love this world nor things it offers because they do not come from Him.

This is such a great and on time conversation. Fellowship within the four walls of the church is extremely important and scripture reminds us of this. However discipleship is equally important and scripture backs that as well. Gotta walk that thing out and reach others OUTSIDE OF THE WALLS of the church. Hearing this is a much needed echo of recent conversations that I’ve had with ministry friends. Seeing a group of women that have the hearts and minds of Christ is so inspirational for me. I’ll definitely be sharing this video and not only with family within my ministry but also my social media community. I love this. Thank you for sharing!

I never ever hear ppl talk about continuous episodes of grief, more specifically trusting God through grief after losing a child. Never ever heard the church go into detail abt this.
I don't think ppl really have the language or experience or etiquette, maybe but it's something I have experienced as a mom who's baby was killed. It's the hardest thing ever. All ppl refer to is Job but I'm not Job, just like Job is not David, is not Jeremiah.

Definitely can relate to this as well and felt so seen when Brenda mentioned her last remarks. It’s been hard finding Christian friends, this has been a prayer of mine for some time now. And I resonate with Fatima’s comment about seeming “corny” if your a Christian. I often feel judged by people who know me bc I’m not where I used to be a few years ago, heck even a few months ago. It’s funny bc right before I watched this I prayed to God to reveal to me if I should go forward with a new friendship I just made bc I really do want to surround myself with like minded people. I guess I’ll have to wait and see what God says.
Interesting perspectives! They say that there’s nothing new under the sun and we all know from reading The Bible that The Word never changes no matter how often society changes. So why do we as Christians feel the need to try and change and fit into society? Because even though The Word don’t ever change, sometimes WE as people have to go through trials and errors to develop the courage and confidence needed to remain strong within The Word in an ever changing world! Just my opinion.🙏🏿🤷🏿♂️

My biggest struggle is being relevant in today's world. I've been walking God for years and I think it looks different today than it did in the 90s....so the I find myself, not fully walking it out publicly because I don't want to misrepresent Christ or the cChurch...

For me it’s hard to identify the real from the fake with so many false prophets and fake leaders out now, but I’ve been praying for spiritual discernment! 🙏🏾
Because there was more time being spent in the house of God and there was more teaching sound Doctrine and it the house was about holding each other up and being accountable because the word of God wasn't watered down and it wasn't about $$prosperity but the soul of the people.

Everyone’s walk with God is different! You can’t look at someone else walk and compare. Everyone’s purpose is different

Everyone has different skillsets, and I think that many folks are not seeing those skillsets being used in the church or even to glorify Christ outside of the church
Just think Dorcas in the bible. seamstress who died. Her life was used as a witness to let others know that she was a factor in brining people to the faith

I feel like the problem In today’s society is people are always looking at people to l know how to live life when Jesus is the pure example of what we all should follow. Jesus is the example of how we all should live. No we will never be him or even come close. But when you understand that we are all human and we are literally all the same. Then we appreciate the acts that Jesus has done for us all. Jesus helped the lame, he helped the blind, he helped the sinful, he help the righteous. When you look to Jesus and pray for understanding you get the very thing you’re lacking because he will speak to you. He has placed his words on our hearts. Jeremiah 31:33 “ “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

A lot of what we do in today's world as Christians is not up to God's standards, if we must be honest with ourselves. God is sacred and Holy. We have forgotten that and how.
