Wowwww! Thank you God! I am watching at 4am. I have been begging for clarity… mainly because I’m questioning if what I “think” is me or God. I listened to Pastor Stephanie’s sermon Who am I just yesterday which eased my anxiety and I actually wondered during that sermon what happened to Same Room… then here you are addressing my concerns. I am older than you ladies but yet in a similar space. I feel like I am to sell my home… which I will but I don’t know why or where I am going. I bought my home in 2019 just in time for January 2020… where I have been on a 3 year journey…btw- 2019 is also where I became crazy attached to Pastor Sarah and was then blessed to watch the beautiful emergence of Pastor Stephanie ❤… which bought me to The Same Room. Anyhoo! I’m literally in tears… because I know now… it’s a trust walk. Sorry for the long comment. I actually have NO ONE to talk to about any of this…. I have also been gradually isolated since 2019… I have not worked since March 2020 and with that relationships ended… because I had time to see people and situations. This home has been my sanctuary and I love it.. so grateful I have a beautiful place of rest…and I can see how when you love something could be an indicator to move. I’m going to sit on my couch today and listen…. Thank you ladies. I needed this😇🥰

When y'all were talking about Caitlyn, it immediately made me think about Elizabeth's pregnancy and how she was selective in her birthing process and WHO was around her during her pregnancy. Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit is key in our walk because it does look different.

Brenda, you have literally given words to what I’ve been saying God has called me to! It was weird because I was taught to be faithful to a place, and I’ve attempted to, stayed beyond the time God told me to twice and both have blown completely up! I, like you, received a word from the beginning that I wouldn’t be in my last place long, but being loyal and for fear of looking like a renegade, I stayed years over my time. I experienced the same feelings as you..and stayed. I understand now that God calls me to build and move. I understand now that I’m called to the Body and not a place. I don’t know about y’all but listening to these ladies speak and beaming with smiles on my face , I realised something. Even though they were talking, and not talking about the actual problem in their life’s in fine details we clearly understood what they were saying and could relate. And then I realised that in the manner in which they were speaking, a non-believer would think they’re saying a whole of nothing because they are not being specific and don’t understand. And then I realised, we Christians do have a secret language even if it’s English. Because we understand understand not with our human mind but with and in the Spirit

God me took me on a similar path in 2010. One of only two times I heard God's voice out loud, He said (while I was on vacation in a boat on Crystal Blue Waters in the Dominican Republic), "You need to be here." It was so incredibly clear that when I returned (after leaving everything) 6 months later, I thought the reason would be clear as well. It was definitely a wilderness and I WANDERED. I walked and circled not beaches, but the crowded, polluted, and not so safe streets of the capital city everyday: praying, talking to people, and trying to figure out what I was doing there. I held onto the certainty that He had sent me. It took four months before I had an inkling of God's mission for me there, because but it took that long for the person He had called me to prophesy to would trust me. (And by the way, I had never prophesied before and didn't even know I was doing that when I was doing it, lol!) Others may have called it a Caribbean Island, but for me it was a wilderness, and it was not easy. I was lead and sustained by God's clear call, a FEW trusted friends, and the fact that I would never have to say, "What if I had done as God asked me to do, instead of stayed home and played it safe?" I wrote a blog at the time called "Seeking the 'Why?'" Ironically, the answer was that ninety-nine percent of the time we don't know "Why?" but if we walk in obedience and faith, we don't have to know 'Why?' if we know 'Who' sent us and 'Who' is our light and our strength. Every once in a while the Holy Spirit gives us a little glimpse into all the amazing things He is doing in us and through us, and I've learned to accept that as enough. But agreed! If anybody thinks they're going to quit everybody, sell everything, and move someplace where they don't have a plan or a place to live, and think things are going to come together without God in the mix... it will not be pretty! I met several people who got stuck in foreign countries because they didn't have enough money to leave, and had broken all relationships and trust back home. But if you do all those things when God is telling you to do them, 100% depending on the Holy Spirit when He says go? Wilderness, here we come! Say Amen and go! He is so faithful!

I can so relate to Brenda. When that is the way has your life set up you really have to lean in to God because everyone including family especially parents will want you to pursue security but you have to listen to God and not be invested in societal norms.

God me took me on a similar path in 2010. One of only two times I heard God's voice out loud, He said (while I was on vacation in a boat on Crystal Blue Waters in the Dominican Republic), "You need to be here." It was so incredibly clear that when I returned (after leaving everything) 6 months later, I thought the reason would be clear as well. It was definitely a wilderness and I WANDERED. I walked and circled not beaches, but the crowded, polluted, and not so safe streets of the capital city everyday: praying, talking to people, and trying to figure out what I was doing there.
I held onto the certainty that He had sent me. It took four months before I had an inkling of God's mission for me there, because but it took that long for the person He had called me to prophesy to would trust me. (And by the way, I had never prophesied before and didn't even know I was doing that when I was doing it, lol!)
Others may have called it a Caribbean Island, but for me it was a wilderness, and it was not easy. I was lead and sustained by God's clear call, a FEW trusted friends, and the fact that I would never have to say, "What if I had done as God asked me to do, instead of stayed home and played it safe?"
I wrote a blog at the time called "Seeking the 'Why?'" Ironically, the answer was that ninety-nine percent of the time we don't know "Why?" but if we walk in obedience and faith, we don't have to know 'Why?' if we know 'Who' sent us and 'Who' is our light and our strength. Every once in a while the Holy Spirit gives us a little glimpse into all the amazing things He is doing in us and through us, and I've learned to accept that as enough.
But agreed! If anybody thinks they're going to quit everybody, sell everything, and move someplace where they don't have a plan or a place to live, and think things are going to come together without God in the mix... it will not be pretty! I met several people who got stuck in foreign countries because they didn't have enough money to leave, and had broken all relationships and trust back home.
But if you do all those things when God is telling you to do them, 100% depending on the Holy Spirit when He says go? Wilderness, here we come! Say Amen and go! He is so faithful!
