The fruit of the spirit is self control, we need more self control and we need to pray for the spirit to work it in us so we aren’t led by our emotions. Great talk ladies

This convo was everything!! I’ve heard so many sermons about the voice of God for 5+ years this was definitely something I needed to hear- a clear honest, wisdom-filled and practical conversation! God bless you ladies! Please never stop sharing and having these conversations❤

I'm feeling Fatima's pain right now 😫 same here! It's important to not close ourselves off and become stones, we have an AMAZING GOD. He always cares, compassion and feelings are a vulnerability, which is strength.
I was literally having conversation with Holy Spirit about some video where the guy was talking about some viral revival. And he was insinuating people may be being moved by emotions and not the Spirit BUT I was like "God, why can't I be provoked to emotion about you?". What God has done, just as an individual, should make ANYBODY break down. Not just that He sent His Son to die for us, but think about your own life and all the dark moments you realize God was in fact with you the entire time? When I start praying sometimes and think back on where He's taken me from I just break down and cry and that's okay. Getting emotional while you listen to a relatable gospel song IS OKAY!!! If I can cry over a man lol I can cry over the goodness and magnificence of my King Jesus UNAPOLOGETICALLY! Just interesting she'd talk about that❤️ Thank you Holy Spirit 🥰
Fasting is really helping me to not get lost in the sauce most definitely it is needed to keep our spirit strong

I was not in the room but I felt like I was IN THE ROOM! Where 2 or 3 are gathered together there I will be in their midst and Lord, I thank you for your revelation! The intro conversation of not being led by emotions and not confusing it for being led by the Holy Spirit is so critical. There was book I read called "Your God is too Small" and it notes the idea of being weary of your personal morality and confusing this for the Holy Spirit's leading (paraphrase). Again, so good. Father, help me to be disciplined in my communication and not to tap into the emotions of my environment!

This was so Good and needed in this moment of my life. I have been battling with my emotions and mind. I have been needing to understand that there will be times God will ask you to do his work and it might not be something you like or want to do but still have to do it. It be the things we want to do that God is not behind it. Staying in the scripture really helps me keep my mind grounded. I’m learning each and every day. It is about progression not perfection. We have to walk with God honestly and always give each and everything to him amen🙏🏽
I'm getting understanding but the microphone for the girl with the white shirt and jersey on is TOO LOUD. She's literally screaming over everyone else...so her microphone needs to be turned down lower in order for everyone to sound on the same level. It's too much as it is...I can barely enjoy what's being said.

I love y’all and I enjoy all the topics and all the insight and perspectives y’all share on every episode, however I have 2 critiques that has been on my heart every time I watch these videos.
1. Can y’all please be careful not to shout into the mics or lean back a little when you get passionate so it doesn’t suddenly increase in sound and blow my ear drums out 😭
2. Can we take turns when speaking please cause when everyone speaks at once I be wanting to hear what everyone wants to say but the loudest voice always wins 😭

I love the y’all and the discussion is it the Voice of God, because I know that I need him in it all, because my emotions are all over the place. I just had surgery, now I’m in recovery, which in a lot pain and also missing my husband who passed away 2021. All I know is God’s strength and healing of Bobby that is getting me through. I really need to hear about tapping my emotions into the environment, which you will lose your discernment. That’s a word in itself!

Literally needed this, I started my intimacy with God journey last week Friday and this has been a question on my mind daily
So glad that as believers, we are called to listen to the Revealed Word of God--not impressions in our thoughts. If God is not speaking, no account of learning can bestow the ability to hear Him. If God is speaking, no amount of distraction (not even our emotions) will keep you from hearing Him. God is heard when he wills to be heard. There is no special skill needed to hear Him.

The Holy Spirit lead me to watch this podcast. I had actually selected another one but I was told to go back, scroll up and watch this one. After I watched it I put my phone down to go to sleep because it’s 3am right now but then the Holy Spirit told me nope open Hebrews chapter 7 & 8 and read it. And wow.

Thank you for this message, so many pearls of wisdom dropped. I should not allow certain things to move me and I should be able to distinguish between my voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit. Sometime my emotions mislead me and cloud my judgement.
This is all so good. "Emotion prompts the seeking" is so powerful. It prompted me to think about where we go when we are down in our spirit?
1 peter 5:6 humble yourself under God's mighty hand. The humility is the absence of shame in coming to the Lord.
