If anyone is anticipating waiting till you get the deepest discounts on Black Friday but you really want the skis it would probably make sense to buy sooner than later and just get your money back if the price changes. Fingers crossed they drop it to a full 50% off but I’ll have no regrets if it’s stays at 40%. (A little sad I hadn’t thought this through the other day when the QST 98 was discounted 50%) I was planning on getting a pair at next years 50% off summer ski sale in my area but figured there’s no guarantee I’ll get the ski I want and worst case scenario it’s a 70 dollar difference.

I was looking up the Nordia Unleashed 98 out of curiosity based on a SkiEssentials video. It's on EVO for $350 USD right now, down from 700. I would want to demo it before buying but ski essentials Jeff and 'rise and alpine' have rave reviews for the unleashed series.

Hey Elliot, was ski would you recommend for skiing mt hood in late spring through the summer? I’ve got just a pair of black crows captis but they tend to catch the inside rear edges in the slush - is that a skill issue or ski issue? Got a bad concussion last season and trying to prevent another.
