Octo is sweet! It doesn't have as much bite as Mirus Cor, partly due to less metal, partly due to the difference in tail shape and overall flex. It's not a wildly unstable ski, but like if you skied it back to back with a Justis, Serpo, or to stay in the same width range, say, Montero AR, Anomaly 84, Redster Q9.8, Supershape Titan, MX84, it's not even in the same league for overall stability. Awesome ski, but not a charger in our opinion.
My point exactly. It's not unstable, but I was able to fold it and got bucked in a tight, carved turn. And FWIW, my words were "I do think heavy and/or powerful skiers can pretty easily overpower the Octo if they intend to treat it like a FIS slalom ski."

The boot question is another reason to consider a custom liner like ZipFits. Your shell outlasts your liner 100%, the ZipFit will out last your shell. You can get 150-200 days on a good shell pretty easily, and to keep good performance in that boot you would need 2-3 stock liners.

I've talked about the the Octo with multiple people at my local shop. I've actually already taken my kids to chamonix a couple years back, we did Lyon, Cannes, Nice, Chamonix and Montpellier, it was so so beautiful, I love France.
You should be objective with those ski deals. keep your integrity of benefits your viewers and you'll just keep growing with that.
I think I am? I don't delete comments redirecting people to alternatives, but in the video dropping today I combed through 3,200 items that were "deals" from Evo. It's not practical for me to comb through each and every website when they don't support the channel being self sustaining. And honestly if things aren't a good deal imo, I just don't bring it up.
If I was really motivated by $ I wouldn't mention deals bc it's based on percentage, but I like deals, and I care about people getting a good value. But I don't have the time or desire to curate deals for retailers who aren't willing to work with me.
Lib Tech skis? Haven’t seen many reviews. Curious about the R.A.D tech as a new skier. Thank you 🤙
1 kg is 2.2 lbs, so just double it to be close, or double it and add 10 percent to be spot on.
So…. Did your hair stylist get back? Can’t tell! 😂. JK
I got some nice XC for a dollar.
I think your credibility is still intact😂😂 ignore the haters. I would like to see you reach a little bit further beyond your Affiliates in your deals videos . I understand you have to be a little bit self-serving, and I think you do a good job of being balanced. However I've seen some deals that sometimes 20%+ cheaper than some of your deals. ( your deals are always good but there are better if you know where to look) 😮
Pay no heed to the uniformed and their nasty comments.
What are you sick of? You couldn’t find any articles to support the person’s quote. Click bait blah blah blah
